PAW Patrol is back with a not just a movie, but a Mighty Movie! Which means that it is the perfect opportunity for a 30-year-old childless millennial to make a review of it. Will the PAW Patrol make another surprise to have me make this review be more positive?

Nice quaint review for an OK movie. Don't know if it'll come out in France, but if it does, it's not on my must-watch things. And lastly: why did you have to wake R34 at the 13th minute mark?

As someone who is not a fan of Paw Patrol, mostly because I’m a grown man almost in his mid 20s, I honestly thought the first film was better than it had any right to be to please both fans of the show and even older audiences, as for the squad, while I would say it is still decent it is definitely a downgrade from the first movie, it still has the great animation that the first movie had, and I can give it a pass for its simplistic story because it is for kids, even though I do think it is weak, but I do feel the characters did get a downgrade compared to the first movie and the heart the first movie had wasn’t as strong, overall while I do think it is still a decent movie and it will definitely please kids and fans of the show, it’s definitely a downgrade compared to the first film, as for that Dora short at the beginning, if I’m being completely honest the only reason I think Paramount and Nickelodeon put that short in front of this movie is so they can have an excuse to promote their upcoming Dora the Explorer reboot coming to Paramount+ sometime next year. Also it is crazy to see how far Paw Patrol has come over the last decade, it feels like no one even expected to be as big as it became and has now become one of the biggest preschool franchises in recent years, one of Nickelodeon’s biggest preschool shows right up there with both Blue’s Clues and Dora the Explorer, and one of Nickelodeon’s biggest properties alongside SpongeBob, with the main series still going strong, a spin-off series, tons of merchandise and 2 movies, and considering not too long ago Paramount and Nickelodeon did announce that they are currently in the works of a third Paw Patrol movie set to be released sometime in 2026 I think it’s safe to say Paw Patrol isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

To be honest, I didn’t plan on watching this sequel but I did it out of Saw Patrol crazed that some people and studios try to build it up after the whole Barbenheimer crazed. Yes I did it watch but in the very front to avoid small children and I thought it was okay. I seen the first film when it aired on Paramount+ back in 2021 and I thought it looked surprisingly good even for a children’s made exclusively for little kids or preschoolers if you ask me. I didn’t expect to have some amount of good animation and heart and some intense action scene that would make it at least enjoyable even if it not meant for me as a 24 year old man. For this sequel, I don’t expect this one to be another cinematic masterpiece or top tier movie of the year like Spiderverse or Oppenheimer, but I do hope for this film to be just okay and I got what I wanted. The action, comedy, and animation were good, although the rest were not all that good. Not gonna slam hard on the story and writing though since that not a top priority, but I will critique that the heart is not as well placed as the first film, characters despite being okay were subpar with the exception of the villains, at times it feels like blatant advertisement just to sell toys much like the first film, and the waste of celebrities just to say one liners like Chris Rock for example. By the way, I wish they didn’t bring back Kim Kardashian in this since her acting is just as stiff as a rock. Other than that, this is an okay sequel that exactly what the little kids want as it made for them only. Unless old school people are just showing up to see old Nickelodeon logo and nothing else. As for the reboot CG Dora short film, again while it is not made for me either since I haven’t watch that since I was little kid, it is at least decent as well. Although I do feel like Paramount and Nickelodeon did this just to advertise the upcoming reboot show for Paramount+ so that new generation of kids can get into that never aware of the original series’ existence. But yeah, I’ll just say that glad I seen it and nothing else so don’t expect anything else from the Mighty Movie.

Did you watch Saw X sometime after this movie?
