I can't decide which one I prefer, out of the two. (see attachement) Im leaning towards #2. Second question would be, if paw #2 is prefered, do I replace the file on here or upload it as another alt image?

Even if paw 2 is preferable, I wouldn’t replace. My opinion is a little more grey; I think it’s a case-by-case basis which paw is better, and that ultimately this is _your_ art and your preference is the most important factor. So which do you prefer for this pic? (Edit: yes I know you said you can’t decide, so I guess this is more of a “which feels more natural for this”)

I agree with #2. I also say have it as another alt image.

I prefer paw 2 as far as I'm concerned :3 I think uploading an alt would be fine, this way people who prefer paw 1 can still enjoy it if they haven't saved it yet :)

I generally lean digitigrade, and this is no exception, however, I rather like the splay of the toes on #1. Any chance of combining the two? Edit: also, alts are always appreciated.

Paw 2 with upper half of Paw 1....or Paw one without pad at the heel.

I prefer #1, it just makes sense with the distribution of weight. But I will also echo the idea of posting both :3

Toes in #1 but the heel in #2.

Paw #1 seems more ... humanized. I think that I like Paw #2 more for this specific image, it just seems to fit better. And I think you should post both versions, regardless of the winner, that keeps as many people as possible happy with the options. :3

I prefer heel pads. If a creature is plantigrade, there should be protection for the heel as well.

Heel pads don't make any sense. If they're digitigrade, no reason for a heel pad. If they're plantigrade, then the whole foot should be a sole, not pawpads. And I vastly prefer pawpads anyways, so Go full digitigrade

I love the thickness of 2 but like heel bean on 1. I say stick with 2 and add the heel bean
