Hello Forgemasters!

While preparing the most recent Foundry module, Forien suggested to me that we start using WEBP format files instead of JPEG. WEBP format has more optimal performance in Foundry and also lower file size (by about 20-30%), but has a slight loss of quality and image contrast, although it is only really noticeable when zooming all the way in.

I wanted to ask your opinion on what you would prefer. WEBP will reduce the amount of storage space required for my packs and potentially allow Foundry to run faster for you, but will have slightly diminished quality levels.

Also, if we're getting technical, having a link to your module.json for use with the Manifest URL module install option would be cool. For those of us who third-party host Foundry on Forge, your maps wouldn't count against our "World" storage limits! I'm not a technical person so I might be getting my terms mixed up here...

If this is even possible it’d be great and I’d like to second it!

I tried switching to webp but some of my players didn't see the backgrounds in chrome, so rather than struggle i went back to Jpegs.
