BCC 27-43: PSD (Patreon)

I'm going to be seeing Into the Spider-Verse later tonight. I really love the look of the animation... it's great to see the sense of design at work in the film. It's good to see 3D movies focused more on finding a unique style, instead of going for the stylized realism you normally see from Disney/Pixar films. Not to say that those are inherently bad, but it's great to see stuff that finds a way to stand out from that. The reviews are extremely positive for it, so I hope it lives up to my inflated expectations. I actually think I enjoyed Venom more because it was getting such poor reviews... it set my expectations low, so I was in the right mindset for a corny fun action film.
