This is a great page for me to talk about this; our Patreon has recently hit $480/month, and that means we're just a few generous donators away from creating cel-shaded pages every day! When we do manage to reach that milestone the colored pages will be essentially the same quality as the page I've posted here. However, I just wanted to make a reminder that the comics are drawn two weeks in advance, so even after reaching $500/month it's still going to be two weeks before the colored pages start to appear on the main page. Side Dishes is underway and it'll be up tonight

Yep..cel-shading looks really gr8 :) Congratulations about the 480$/month (hopefully the Patreon will soon hit 500$...and even 750$ and more). After the 1st month, I guess u was starting to think this was a very hard target to hit, but time has worked for you (maybe also some good Ads ^___^) and anyway, BCC is a comic that deserves all the "attention" it's getting. Keep up the great work and..."ad maiora"! :)

I know its super cheeky, but, If you do hit the $500 mark ( fingers crossed ) will the special pages like this one still exist in some way? ( instead of cel shaded, maybe fully rendered colour?). I also have a request, although this is me being overly anal and I am most likely the only one to ask/want this but, when you reach $500 could you finish the current chapter you are on in B&W then start the next chapter in colour? Yes, the request is OCD but I would rather have the change to colour be an event rather then something that just happens suddenly xS. told you I was going to be super cheeky... .... sorry all xP

Definitely I will still occasionally do more elaborately rendered pages even after the switch to color. If the current comic is nearing the end of the chapter when we hit the $500 mark I agree that it would be better to finish off the chapter before moving, but if it happens fairly early in the chapter I would still rather just get going with color. And if we hit the mark shortly after starting the next chapter I'd be willing to take a day off from new pages to recolor 2 or 3 pages to help with consistency.
