Bonus: Allure the Alraune: Early Access (Patreon)

Here's the second pinup done this month for CGI. Not only is he my most generous patron, which already guarantees a pinup each month, but he's also a huge help every day by doing the flats for the comic pages and various pinups. He actually even put in a lot of extra work on this pinup as well; he not only rendered the green gradients on her limbs, he also individually isolated each petal on her flower to add that nice gradient. So doing an extra pinup for him as payment for all the help he gives me with the comic is really the least I could do.

When we were first discussing his ideas for a pinup he at first wanted an illustration of a specific character from the videogame Drakengard, but really what he realized he ultimately wanted was an Alraune. I'm really only familiar with the idea of an Alraune from Castlevania, where it manifests as a young girl inside a giant flower who throws roses at you like Tuxedo Mask. Once we got a better understanding of the idea he wanted he left a lot of the design up to me, since he seemed curious about what my take on the idea would be. The pose above came to me almost instantly... an impish girl grinning slyly as she lounges in a big flower. However, he also explained something that I didn't really know, but that a sense of danger is actually part of the appeal for monster girls. So that's when I got the idea for the skull, some blood, and her toying with a sharp, bloody rose came from. It was his idea, though, to have her wet with nectar... although it was my idea to have her resting in a small pool of nectar at the base. Although at that point he shared an Alraune profile from a monster girl website, and one of the illustrations on the site had the same idea with the girl resting in a pool of nectar, so I guess it's not the most original idea in the world. Still, this was a lot of fun to work on and I hope you all appreciate this extra pinup.
