The patterns on Jenna's skin were actually CGI's idea. I initially just planned to give her some purple fades on her skin... I tend to favor simpler designs on things largely because this comic updates every day, so I have to kind of limit myself to designs that I feel I can reliably draw on a daily basis. But after coming up with the idea and volunteering to design it himself I was pretty excited at the idea of adding the patterns to her skin, and I really like the way it came out. I adjusted the opacity and the blending mode for the patterns, but other than that it was all on CGI's shoulders.

Also, the poll for this week's Side Dishes is pretty interesting! There were a lot of suggestions this time and they're all very solid, so I don't have any idea which one I think will win.
