Chapter 18: Family Doctor PSD (Patreon)

I had a pretty bizarre problem with my computer today... first my wireless connection just seemed to fully shut down, but when I plugged my laptop directly into the router I found that the ethernet wasn't working either. I'm not sure how, but the drivers for my internet connection had become corrupted. As someone who literally makes a living using the internet, this was a big problem. My wife tried downloading the drivers manually on her computer and transferring them to mine, but for some reason my computer wouldn't recognize the new drivers. In the end I had to reset my computer to factory settings, which meant transferring all my important files to a portable hard drive (which was a pain as well, since the hard drive didn't want to function correctly either), then reset everything, download all my major files first, then set about replacing all my programs, fonts, etc. Unfortunately, this all means that I didn't manage to get any art finished today either. I'm trying to build up my buffer of pages again, so this felt like a pretty big setback. Still, things are back to normal, and I didn't lose any of my work on BCC, I just lost a day of productivity.

I still do have a pretty solid buffer of pages built up, however. Right now Patreon supporters who donate at least $5 can see the first 12 pages of this chapter already; two whole weeks ahead of casual viewers. Patreon supporters also get to see early access of the next Banana Shortcake story, which is going to be a fan comic for the hentai series Taimanin Asagi, as well as the new chapter of Side Dishes, which is focused on a sci fi setting with a shapeshifting alien.
