I actually found myself involved in some weird Deviantart drama the other day. I got a message from someone asking to do an art trade or collab... which I'm not really open for. I can afford to make time for commissions, but aside from that I need to focus on the comic or fulfilling patreon rewards, so I can't really accept an art trade. lol although I suppose technically every page I work on is a collab, since CGI helps me with flats.

I guess it doesn't really matter, since he wasn't actually interested in an art trade or collab so much as just a free art request. It was strange to talk to him because he really, really went out of his way to avoid the term "free art" and took offense whenever I used the term. Plus I saw in the comments on his DA account that he had a lot of people accusing him of harassment, which he flatly denied. I eventually asked one of the people who he was arguing with what it was all about, and apparently she was working on a large warning post about him and was trying to gather evidence of his harassment of other artists.

I shared my conversation with him for her to add to her evidence, and it turned into this whole big thing. People started harassing him, he got his account banned, then he started messaging her with death and rape threats... it's just all very strange to see how some people act when they're given the anonymity of the internet...

Also, there's still plenty of time to suggest ideas for the next chapter of Side Dishes. So far we've only gotten 3 suggestions lol but there's plenty of room for more.
