Cock and Dagger 1-02: Hi-Res Early Access (Patreon)

WHen I first finished the colors on this I had made the dark elf's skin too light, so she didn't have quite the right look. The odd thing was that I had pulled the colors for her skin directly from a cel-shaded picture of a dark elf, and in the other picture it looked fine. Although I thin realized that the character in that picture was wearing light clothing (mostly whites and golds), whereas this character was wearing a dark black robe. So moderately dark skin looks even darker in comparison to light clothes, but when put in contrast with a black robe it simply looks pale.

As it's the start of the month I'm going to be spending a good amount of this week fulfilling Patreon rewards. And speaking of Patreon, we've finally, for real, gotten past the $1000 tier! The displayed value has been over that amount before, but this is the first month where the actual payout has managed to maintain the $1000 goal after the month was through. The goal for the $1000 reward tier was one of the more ambiguous and won't be the kind that we can fulfill immediately... I need to start looking in to producing physical comics to sell, and also to see how many people would actually be interested in them.  I'm a little less sure about how to handle doing convention appearances... it seems fun, but I worry it'll turn out to be more trouble than it's worth. Lol luckily I live near Dallas, so there's a lot of options in terms of conventions that roll around here.
