My parents' TV recently stopped working, so they bought a replacement and gave me their old TV, in case I can figure out how to fix it. When it plugs in a little red light turns on to show it's accepting power, and when the power button is pressed the light turns blue to show that power is going, but the screen won't turn on. After a few minutes the blue light turns red again, but other than that nothing happens... not even sound. I'm hoping I'll be able to just replace a fuse or two in the system to get it working again, but I'm terrible with electronics, so I'm still nervous about finally popping it open and seeing what i can fix.
