Back now that I’ve watched your reaction! 😊 it’s such a heart reaction! You did recognise her Nico… she’s the female lead in Sweet Night with Seo Joon! I love this drama so much cause it’s actually filled with a lot of gems and observations about life… I would defo personally not class it as a chick flick… a romantic comedy maybe but it’s a slice of life romantic comedy with very realistic elements. Which is why I think you guys will really like it. Hearing Tae’s Christmas Tree during it is really the icing on the cake… it’s such a beautiful song that fits in so well. Everytime I see his name pop up in the subtitles when the OST plays I get goosebumps. I defo love Woo Shik’s acting too… there hasn’t been a single drama I’ve seen of him where he wasn’t good in it. I also love when Mika joins in for reactions too… I love how quickly she picks up the threads! I love your tikitaka too. Already really looking forward to the next ep. Thank you 💜😊

Personally I would wish you wouldn’t watch it. But it’s up to you. K-army boycotted the drama for many many valid reasons, and I wish international Army was wise and principled enough to do so too. But the lure of easy entertainment made a lot of international Army lose their principles. Not only was it a notorious cash grab by hybe with no profits going to the boys… there were many petitions for it to not go ahead… please do research the many detailed reasons why they boycotted it…. but also way too many people are confusing fiction with reality and thinking it’s got anything to do with boys character in real life. Case in point the comment above saying they are interested in what you think of how each actor portrayed the boys. The way they depicted the character that plays the fictional Bangtan Universe Tae was really really sh*tty… that it’s actual despicable how many Tae Anti’s were lapping this drama of Begin Youth up. P.s to anyone who doesn’t see hybe’s underhanded gaslighting and maliciously subtle efforts to tarnish Tae’s image you are all most definitely not OT7 and not true BTS fans.

One of my favourite dramas in recent years, I’m sure you’ll both enjoy it. Wooshik is such a great actor and the chemistry with Kim Dami is fantastic. And always nice to see Mika ☺️

I did not know of the backlash and petitions as i don't spend a lot of time on social media. Personally i watched it because i became an army during i need u era and wanted a trip down memory lane i also enjoyed reading the webtoons so i watched it for that. I want to clarify that I'm aware the actors aren't playing the members themselves i meant the mv/webtoon versions of the members in my original comment, however the characters/actors did keep a lot of their characteristics and i think overall they played their characters well. As for Tae's character i think the actor played the role of a troubled YA well despite being a rookie actor and i dont really agree that hybe were tarnishing his image as the character is not related to Taehyung in anything but surname and small details. i didn't have many bad things to say after watching it and i think it ties into the webtoon well and is worth watching out of curiosity but that's my opinion and i appreciate your reply 💜

I loved this series. It's a touching story with Woo-shik's character being misunderstood although that's partly his fault. V's friends are called The Wooga Squad and seem to have taken him to their hearts. Park Seo-joon and Park Hyung-sik both mentored him through Hwrang. V seems to love being the maknae of their group. Hearing V singing the OST for this is the icing on the cake. Kim Da-mi was also in Itaewon Class where she starred with Park Seo-joon.

I just subscribed just to see your reaction to this excellent K-drama. This is one of my favorites with excellent, writing, editing, directing and two superb actors. Woo-Shik and Kim Da-Mi have such a strong chemistry and can also be seen together in The Witch Part 1 movie. I knew he was an actor to watch when I saw him in Parasite. I hope you enjoy the rest of this series and look forward to your reactions.
