Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 6 of Arcane! OMG YOU GUYS....I was not ready for this one :(((((( We had so many great twists and turns with the epic fight scene feat. Cait's turn, Jinx and Isha backing up Vi, etc.....and just when it looked like there was some freaking hope for Vander...!!! Uggghhh did either of them even make it? Cause it sure didn't look like it! I cannot believe Jayce here, what is happening?! Also, great background stuff with Vander, Silco, and Vi/Jinx's mom too!!!! I'm excited and devastated to see what's next! Great ep! Enjoy!! ~ MH

Hm, I think if you are intent on doing 3 episodes next week, it might be a good idea to do 2 the normal day, wait, interact and then do the finale later in the week. Keep in mind you have some extra space in the week from not replacing Vox Machina. I have noticed, that the subtitles cut off a bit in the second episode again, but I think I might know what’s causing it: when you start the first episode, OBS is switching from a 1:85:1 (normal widescreen ratio) to a 2:35:1 (cinemascope ratio) - on the second, it’s expecting it. If you fired up OBS on a anime or KR episode between shows for a few seconds, I think that would fix the minor issue. :) There was a line in the first five minutes of this episode that was spot on, but for the life of me I can’t remember what it is now. Oh wait, I think it was: “Every system has limits.” But some things are worth risking it for. However, I should point out that when Viktor was talking to Sky (how is SHE here, by the way, nobody ever asked that), he mentioned that “something” was possessing Jayce - he isn’t himself. Something from the Arcane has clearly affected his mind but how much is him and how much is whatever this other entity is? Ambessa clearly has been trying to groom Caitlyn to be her sword - remember what she said to Singed though - “I demand absolute loyalty.” So she isn’t probably going to take too well to the events that transpired here… Speaking of which, the whole Caitlyn turning in Vi thing I kinda saw through immediately - they might not be on great terms at the moment, but turning complete red herring seemed a little bit far for her. Meanwhile, Jinx is just out here living her best life. Or she’s trying, anyway. Fate has a way of treating these sisters cruelly. It occurred to me, that having blue hair on this show seems to be a curse - first it was Jinx, Caitlyn isn’t doing so hot, and then Isha. It occurred to me that we should have picked up on it earlier but there were TWO flashbacks in this episode - one of Vander and his girls, the other of Jinx and Isha. Well, neither of those can be good signs, can they? When Viktor was “killed” it clearly negatively affected all his “patients,” including Vander, so how ironic is it that Isha would use the same blue marble that started all of this last season to take both herself and the beast out to save Jinx, who discovered it in the first place? Maybe you should stop asking this show for stuff, it’s not only spiteful, but it’s dripping with irony. 😅 I don’t know what’s happening next, but I’m gonna recommend not overdosing… considering Shimmer is a thing, maybe I should rephrase that a little. 👀

Hi Hime :) I think I remember saying that Arcane will once again not holding back it's punch, it was in more than one way. Yeah, agent cutie is maybe cute, but that doesn't excuse Cait to go with her, but at least, she seem to go back to Vi at the end of this batch, even helping her. Speaking of Vi, her look when she is first reintroduced in the arena... I need to bonk myself hard because she is so hot (I'm weak to muscle mommy, so Vi, Sevika and Ambessa, even is she is bad, I can't really control myself lol). It's sad that her only way to cope after this beak up is by drinking and punching things, so in a way, having Jinx and Vander back helped her to go back on her feets, same for Jinx. Jinx in the previous season was all about impressing Silco, without him she didn't have any light leading the way, until Isha came to her life and she had something to live for, but now... No Vander, no Isha and even if Vi is still here, she lost so much that I'm afraid she don't recover from it. For Jayce and Viktor, remember that Viktor talk about the two face of a coin, we only see one face of the event for now. You assume that Viktor is good because he helped many and look like Robot-Jésus and Jayce being rough and killing the other is bad. But in the same time, they each stand on the opposite spot where they were before. Jayce was all about hextech to help people and was seeing no harm to it, Viktor wanted to destroy the hexcore becaus that killed Sky and seemed really bad. We know that the hextech is responsible for the mutation seen in the tree and other contamination, it doesn't look good to continue to use it, but since it's Viktor using it "for good use", we forgot this part. Appearances rule our thinking, whether we like it or not.

Yeah if you have the time I would definitely suggest taking a break after watching episode 7 & 8 before you record your reaction to episode 9 because it’s a lot and if you can’t all I can say is prepare yourself. Also I wanted to ask is doing one more Arcane reaction the week after you watch the finale because it it might be nice to talk about the show one more time after having time to think about & settle on the show after the finale and seeing comments. And conveniently I know of one music video released prior to S2 that I’ve heard is good to watch after the season is over called blood, sweat and tears but if you don’t time because of all your IRL stuff that’s completely understandable. I have been loving your reactions to this season a lot & I will be sending more comments soon. I can’t wait for your reactions to the last 3 episodes please keep up the great work. :-) <3

You know what, that's actually a really good point...like as nice as it was to think of all these people being helped, I can't help but wonder now if there wasn't something more to it?

Hi Spadeas! :) I like the agent cutie does in fact have quite a spine about these matters lol. Hahaha she was looking pretty good in the arena! LOL there's a lot of muscly women on this show for sure! I'm glad she can find some comfort with her family now, instead of just drinking/punching. I'm really scared for Jinx too! I mean, you bring up a good point about Viktor and Jayce...we really only know a little bit and one side of the story. They really have flipped viewpoints haven't they! I have a feeling there's more to it...

Yeah I don't think I'll have time to do all 3 in one sitting anyway, considering every day is booked up with appts :P I'm hoping OBS will be better now that it's had a fresh reinstall on my new setup, the thing is I'm scared to mess with it a lot because it stops recording audio and/or video on a whim :P So we'll see how it goes! Yeah I assumed that Sky was like downloaded into the Hextech matrix or something lol. Yeah I'm not sure if Jayce is possessed or not...it does seem that way. I think Ambessa definitely wanted to groom Caitlyn but DANG does she not tolerate anyone stepping out of line! Good on you for seeing through the ruse so quickly! Blue hair is def not lucky on this show lol. It is ironic that Isha was using the marble. Oof yeah, this show is way too heavy to binge watch!
