My Hero Academia 5x03 "Clash! Class A vs. Class B!" - Reaction & Review (Patreon)

Hey everyone!  Here's my next reaction to MHA!  It's so fun to see Class B and Shinso again!!!  And how fitting that we should be dealing with the past One for All users right around the time that he shows up again, considering what happened during the tournament.  What's even more interesting is the revelation that Izuku's chat with the First is something that seemingly only he has experienced so far...!!!  It was fun seeing everyone in combat and strategizing, including Class B - they really have been progressing all this time!!
Shinso's trick at the end was AWESOME!!!!  Can't wait to see what's next!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

So you are saying you need a Class 1-B shirt now too ;) yeah I believe the singularity quirk doomsday theory has been mentioned before I think it was during one of the episodes where Kacchan and Todoroki had to win all the kids hearts. Yeah I suspected we would get more Shinzo and him getting advice from Aizawa after seeing him in the intro. Also the loud guy from class 1-Bs with all his opinion on 1-B being better than class 1-A. It's like he is class 1-Bs Kacchan :D Anyways I wonder how many episodes this will continue for but I'm looking forward to all the battles between class 1-A & 1-B

I feel like Shinzo's mask makes him the strongest character in the show now right? I feel like the only way to fight against that is to not talk at all.

What I love about Class 1B is they could have followed Monama and make everything into a competition between classes. But they're really nice people. It's gonna be cool seeing how they handle things. And I definitely cant wait to see how Shinsou will approach things. I feel like a comment got deleted, maybe just my mistake, just ignore it if so 🙏 :)

Yes, I do!!! I think you might be right about the doomsday theory, it sounds familiar. It's great to see Shinzo again! HAHAHA that guy is totally Class 1-B's Bakugo!!!!!!!!! :P Me too, the battles should be really good!!!!

That's so true!!!! Do we have anyone with a telepathic quirk on the show??? They might all have to communicate telepathically or find some other way to communicate lol, since literally anyone's voice could really be Shinzo!!

That's so true!!!! It's awesome that they're really decent characters and they didn't just go with a generic "we gotta beat them" attitude for 1-B. Somehow i totally missed the upload. The scene where Nana talked with All Might in the past, in the anime the subtitles where "impossible dream". I like the words in the Manga better All Might: Sounds kinda occult? Nana: or...romantic. I'd say. So even if i die one of these days....we can always meet again within one for all. Romatic, right? Shinso is from the "General Studies", i wonder why they used "normal studies" for it, if they said "General" in season 2. There also "Bussines Studies" and "Support" Hatsume Mei is from Support Class. It could be fun to see your guesses who wins which team fight. :D

Oh, sorry about that! Glad you were able to see it now though! Oh, I do like that wording!!! And also interesting that they'd change "General" to "Normal" in the subtitles. Oooh I can't wait to start guessing!!!

2021-07-14 10:24:21 I really enjoyed this episode. It’s easy to miss but I really loved that in the recap at the beginning they replaced the music with the really intense music 1st used when Izuku was having his final fight against Overhaul when he looked like a monster. I find it interesting that they used foreboding music when Deku was thinking about the vestiges. I don’t think it’s meant to imply that there’s anything bad about 1 for all but more that there’s a lot more secrets to do with the power that might be dangerous. I really like the conversation he has with All Might and the things he knows which isn't much. Izuku is the main character so him being more unique isn’t that surprising but without the jokes I think the reason he has this going on when all might didn’t is because for whatever reason only connected a certain amount to the vestiges since he was somewhat visible in the dream and those 2 that were in complete darkness never connected at all. It’s always great to see flashbacks with Nana it’s always very heartwarming but heartbreaking. Also the phrase impossible dream is really cool and I think has connections to a lot of characters in the show. I like seeing the interactions of class A again it’s always so fun as well as the interactions with class B. Also there is just an art to how Monoma insults and stirs up stuff with our main class. I think the focus on Shinso we got in this episode was great. His speech was honestly pretty awesome. Also all of Deku's reactions to him were great especially once he got a determined look on his face that to me said bring it on as well as showed his excitement. I appreciate that they clapped for the speech because they could sense his determination and could tell his desire to be a hero was genuine. Also of course Monoma likes his more aloof attitude which is honestly kind of hilarious. I probably will never remember all of class B’s names but I like them all and I love all of the designs especially mushroom girl, purple bodysuit girl and Jurota the beast. I think the rules of this training are interesting and I like the team teams especially because we know very few of the students in class B’s quirks. It’s great that Shinso brings up the whole idea of a start line again with how important it is to the show. I think it’s hilarious and kind of cute that Vlad has basically appointed himself the announcer. I really like that in the lead up to the fight there are a few moments showing us Shinso being analytical about things. Class B’s plan and surprise attack was a great strategy and effective. I love Beast’s design but his personality is so good with him being intelligent but also very aggressive. Also besides Beast from X-Men was the other character you’re thinking of the beast Titan from AOT? Finally seeing what Shinso’s new equipment does was so cool and awesome because of how it makes his quirk more useful. Also I love the name persona cords. Great reaction and keep up the great work. :-) <3

Ohhhh that does make sense about All Might actually! I know, it's always bittersweet to see Nana!!! &lt;/3 Impossible dream is a great phrase and definitely fitting for the theme of this show. Hahahha he is an artist when it comes to insults!!! Yes, you could tell Izuku was excited and impressed by Shinso's determination! Great point that we don't know many of Class B's quirks, should be interesting to find out along the way! Haha Vlad as the announcer! I love that the Beast guy is intelligent but also beast-ish too!!! I was actually thinking of both Beast from X-men and the Beast Titan, but was afraid that saying Beast Titan might spoil it for anyone who hasn't gotten to that point in AoT yet haha.
