Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction to episode 28!  Well, I can't say I blame Wing for being hesitant on revealing all of the secrets of Nen right away, considering how dangerous these techniques could be in the wrong hands.  Oh yeah, speaking of those wrong hands, HISOKA IS HERE, look at that!!!!  :O  Wow, of all the times to show up....especially when this is all about getting stronger to face him.  Clearly, we have a long way to go!  And thank God that Wing showed up just in time to commit to helping them to master Nen in order to face Hisoka's Nen.  So does everyone know these techniques past a certain level, basically?
Oh yeah, and of course we have just hours to master this!!!  I have no doubt they can do it though!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) In the opening, when the name of the song appears, you can see "second version" next to it, so don't worry, you're not crazy ^^ Regarding the Nen, Togashi clearly admitted to being inspired by Hamon from Jojo's bizarre adventure. Hamon was an energy born from breathing, allowing to strengthen the body and certain elements (we see it through wine and soap bubbles) and slow down aging among other things, which is very similar to the description made by Wing. But Togashi adds more subtlety to it, which you'll see soon. Ah and yes, Hisoka uses the nen, that's why he's able to use his cards as weapons, like Wing did with the sheet of paper.

Just to clarify one thing, Nen wasn't one of the options, all the different options were thing you could do with Nen, so Nen is the overlaying system you could say :) Also I always find it fun when the 24h-clock is referred to military time, here in sweden it's something everyone is used to (I have all my digital clocks on 24-h format) so for me as soon as I see 20 I know it's 8 or 23 for 11 etc :D something I grew up with ^^

Hi Spadeas! :) Ohhhh I did notice that in a later ep lol, so glad I'm not crazy! Ahhh interesting, this is not the first time Jojo has been referenced on the show too, right? I feel like I remember that Hisoka was very inspired by Jojo as well. OHHHHH that makes total sense about the cards!!!! Thanks for all the info!

Got it, sorry about that! When I learn too many new words/concepts at once, they get jumbled :P Ohhh that is so interesting that Sweden is on a 24 hour clock!! I think quite a few places are, just not the US! That's so cool that you grew up with it!!! :D

FINALLY TUE POWER SYSTEM IS REVEALED! I can't wait to nerd out about it! But there's still a large amount for the show to reveal about it before I can safely explain how Nen works in detail. I will say though that it is probably my favorite power system in anime, and among my top 3 all time. It's so fun and versatile and, if used properly, broken as hell.

Hmmm. I don't think Hisoka was 'using' Nen in that bloodlust incident - he was not trying to do anything. I think it was just his warped aura leaking out so powerfully that Gon was getting a blast of it. Then Hisoka got himself under control by murdering someone. Nice!

Yeah I could see how that's not Nen now that I know a bit more about it! It was just Hisoka being Hisoka I guess....to him, it's just like scratching an itch I guess?? Super twisted!!
