Hey everyone!!!!  I am back today....with the Demon Slayer Movie!!!  OH, MY GOSH!!!!!!!!  This was so much more intense than I expected!!!  I laughed, I cried, I cried some more, and was dazzled by the beauty of the story, animation, voice acting, etc.  Some things I learned: Tanjiro is ultimate best boy, tiny Nezuko is the cutest thing on the planet, Inosuke was RIGHT, Zenitsu is the man but his mind is scary (for that matter, so is Inosuke's), and Rengoku is <33333 and I will love him forever, and he will always be in my heart <3333  It does feel like we have somewhat of a mission moving forward now, so I'll be curious to learn more about what happened to his dad, and how it all relates to Tanjiro's family.  SUCH an amazing movie!!!  Thanks for your patience on it guys!!!!  Enjoy!!  ~ MH

Trully not a Demon Slayer ''episode'' with no tears.. :/ that end with inosuke and crow get me too (or the boy in Tanjiro unconsious that.. was something ;_;).. :D so amazing movie.. :o didnt expect this at all.. ok.. dont wanna say too much but in anycase /spoilers for the movie/ for those who didnt watch it.. I believe the upper three demon showed up because of Rengoku not Tanjiro (cause he was so insisted to recruiting him into demon race..) which.. he could agree.. (after that fatal blow.. not to live as a demon and kill humans.. but to get close to Muzan for example and try to kill him :O that would be big brain :DD) hmm i dont understand that first fight.. with 2 faces demon and long arms demon.. i mean it looked like they were alseep right after they ticket got snap.. but that 2 faced demon was in the last episode of Season 1 :D or was that also just a dream of some passanger ?? and all those 40 + demon slayer units killed by the hand demon ? hmm maybe.. i mean probably.. it would make sense.. and omg.. that demon.. im pretty sure he escaped.. they would probably show it if he died :/ but how strong he was ?? and I would even say he went easy on Rengoku.. :D no idea how his power works.. but that was a big circle.. and he didnt even use demon blood art or maybe that what he used was stronger then blood art.. and he was 3rd.. meaning there are 2 stronger and ofc.. Muzan himself :D btw.. do we know if any present Hashira met any upper rank demon ? cause.. if not.. i have no idea how are they going to beat them :oo alsoo.. if you check the screenshot where they all are present (upper rank silhouettes) there is one.. that looks like hashira :D hmm (just my theory ofc) but im betting he is the upper one :o

Theres too much in this movie to actually talk about. As someone with a natural affinity for fire i loved Rengoku, everything about his personality perfectly embodies the element. As much as i hate what he did i also love Akaza. As a martial artists i can completely understand his mindset of finding the perfect partner and wanting to get stronger, i love how all his movements are based in martial arts and unlike any demon so far. Demons have only been shown to swing wildly like animals or fall back completely on magic but seen Akaza use actual forms to fight was amazing for someone like me. I imagine that, based of Rengokus comment about protecting the newer demon slayers, that his dad had seen alot of them die when he was a hashira and was unable to stop them. That and maybe put together with his wife dying of illness felt that being a hashira was pointless because it couldnt do anything for her.

I'm not going to be mad tht the demon ran away. If I focus on that it'll take away everything Rengoku 🔥 did. That said it's hard to not be upset. I was a sniveling mess like Inosuke. I wanted to flail my arms and just run but I'd look ridiculous in front of all these people. XD RIP to the legend. 🙏 Up until this movie Tomioka Giyu was my favorite from the pillars. But I just think Rengoku was just too darn cool and full of care and justice. He's my favorite pillar ever :')

Right?! Rengoku is the best!!! Also, I hear you about Akaza. Very true that he seems to have actual fighting skills, especially compared to the other demons we've seen. Ah, that makes sense about Rengoku's dad! Good call. I'll be curious to learn/see more once our crew goes to visit him!

That's such a great point, well said! OMG we were all Inosuke by the end of this movie lol!!! RIP for sure :'( Yeah I agree, Giyu was my fave but Rengoku just jumped way higher to the top of the list! Full of care and justice is the best way to put it!!!!!! He was amazing &lt;33333

So true!!!! D': Ahhh okay, that's why the upper three showed up! I was kinda confused too about the fight at the beginning, I'm not sure! Yeah I think the demon at the end escaped!! &gt;.&lt; And so crazy that there are two that are even stronger! I was wondering that too, I feel like they may have said that none of our Hashiras have ever faced an upper rank demon but I can't remember. Ohhhh no kidding about the silhouettes!!! Yikes!!! Thanks for the info!

i mean.. he may came for Tanjiro aswell.. but if Muzan ordered him to kill Tanjiro he would have done it 100% :D so i doubt that was the case.. now if Muzan ordered him to go pick Rengoku or if it was his own desision to come thats the real question :D and if it was his decision how did he know he was there :D (cause Muzan had to know that) but he also had to know Tanjiro was there :D so who knows :) also no idea if any hashira meet any upper rank but i think they didnt mention it.. they did mention noone meet Muzan yet.. but not upper rank demons :o aalso.. forgot to say.. at the very end where crows announced their masters about Rengoku.. and wind hashira said he will kill all the demons.. i couldnt help but think.. he meant Nezuko aswell ;(

Here is something interesting to know. Early in this movie you see Rengoku saying delicious with every bite of his food. This is a historical reference to Japanese warriors who are taught to savor and enjoy while they eat because it could very well be their last meal.

Maybe, but it does make sense considering what we saw that he came for Rengoku. And yeah he would have made way more of an effort to get Tanjiro for sure. That's a good question, hmmm! Ohhh that's probably what I'm thinking then, of when they mentioned none of the Hashiras had met Muzan. Oh yeah, that's a good point about the wind Hashira.....I hadn't considered that he meant Nezuko too!!! :/ Yikes!

I watched this movie in a theater and on BD but your reaction made me cry again. BTW, as you may already know, Kyojuro's family name and the name of his ninth form "煉獄(Rengoku)" means purgatory in Japanese. Akaza means "castrated dog".

I finally saw this movie yesterday at the cinema so now I could watch the reaction: I looked it up since you recognised the voice of the demon in the end: Akaza that fight Rengoku, you might also know Akaza's voice as the voice actor that voices Gaara in Naruto

also one other thing I loved with the movie we already knew Tanjiro was a beautiful soul with how caring he is for everyone but this movie confirmed it when we saw his subconscious and spiritual core :) I loved that moment in the movie. And that just seeing the very core of his being was able to convince one of the children to not continue with the mission anymore
