Hey everyone!  I am back today with the start of Nomad of Nowhere!  Here's my reaction to episode 2!  The fun and intrigue continues here as we take a few steps towards learning more about this world!  Apparently this very glamorous man has been sending Toth and Skout on missions to find the Nomad for El Rey.....and I'm gonna assume that it's because magic is so sought after and rare, and the Nomad has magic!  Meanwhile, the Nomad is on his own adventure to.....set a mill free?  Poor Nomad, he was just doing what they asked!!!
Once you give the mill sentience, why wouldn't it just run away?!  Oh yeah, and it seems like water is the cause of a lot of our concerns in this world....a fact that some have greatly capitalized on!!!  Can't wait to see more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I love this episode. I agree that the exploration of the world is pretty interesting and great. I think you have a pretty good grasp of what the show is trying to tell you about the world with the rarity of magic and water. It sucks to see that this oasis is very harsh and exploitative of people who just need water. I like that you can see the difference in how Toth and Skout deal with/feel about this harsh society. Also the way Toth says rules are rules tells me whether she ever agrees with this or not she will go along with it because it’s how things work. Paragon is indeed very flamboyant and dramatic and the voice acting really makes it work it’s impressive. Also unfortunately for the Nomad he’s also ruthless and willing to exploit his kindness. Poor Skout just wanted to help the Nomad to repay him for saving them may have put him in more danger in addition to now having multiple people after him thanks to Manuel’s idea. You have to wonder with the lack of magic in the world as well as viewing it as evil why exactly the king wants him alive. I really love Nomad’s adventure this episode and getting to see his happy-go-lucky personality and wanting to help people even if it does go badly this time. The kids and their interactions with the Nomad are adorable and it’s nice to see them want to help their town so much. Also their dialogue is pretty funny. Fun fact the redheaded girl is voiced by Barbara a.k.a. Yang which is really cool. In addition to getting sentience and not wanting to be stuck there I think the Nomad was trying to say that the bigger something he brings to life is the harder it is to control or take the life back since it looked like he quite easily controlled his other smaller creations. It did look like he was trying to stop the mill before it destroyed some stuff. It’s really sad to see him be forced out of the town after trying to help but it unfortunately did end badly. Also I almost forgot to say that my favorite joke in this episode is jokes on you we can’t read LOL. Finally looks like trouble is headed towards Bliss Hill and the Nomad. Great reaction and I can’t wait for your reaction to the next episode. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Glad to hear I'm grasping it well, yay! Yes it does seem like a lot of unfair things are going on, and Toth and Skout are seeing these things differently. I know, poor Skout accidentally giving Paragon the idea to exploit Nomad's kindness...!!! Good point that the king wants him alive, I'm guessing maybe it has something to do with the magic? I know, the adventure was so fun (up to the end anyway)! OMG that was Yang!!!!!!!!! Thanks for letting me know! Ahhhh ok, that's what he was trying to say - I figured it had something to do with the size. Yeah, it did end badly for sure, and I can't help but feel bad for the Nomad for trying to help and having it turn out that way! It does suck for the townspeople too. HAHAHAHAHA the "can't read" joke was SO funny!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for all the support, so happy you're enjoying my reactions and I can't wait for the next ep!!!!!!!!!
