Hey everyone!  I'm here with some Kamen Rider Revice today - here is my reaction to episode 17!  Whoa!  We get a surprising amount of backstory on Julio here.  I'm so glad we're fleshing out the Deadman characters!  Of course Sakura would take on the impossible task of trying to save him....that's kinda what these siblings do!  Even if Daiji is being bratty about it right now lol.  Still not totally sure about George and the whole new director thing.  And last but not least, we get one spicy new form, woohoo!!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!!!  ~ MH

And yeah, you have a point. I'm not playing card, but I know the feeling of one's who treasure them. That's pretty bad, but turned out Julio's friend was forced to do that by others delinquent. So we can't completely blame him. Oh, I just remembered I have very treasure "Ultimate Werewolf" and "Exploding Kitten"

Thanks! Was thinking of trying to film a reaction to the song today actually, will see if I have time!!! I'm sure the full version is even more awesome! Yes I really need to react to those as well! Hoping to fit some in when Revice occasionally goes on break :D

This series is started to get even more dark... Introducing a new type Deadman. The Gifterian! As it is said, a human was consumed by the devil within and emerged as a Deadman. So, it is confirmed that the individual who is stamped will be gone forever... Also, the effect of the transforming is somehow horrible, I mean scary. One interesting thing, no demon up until now we have seen having a wish to consume human but Gifterian, and of course, Vice! We know that Vice somehow connected to Giff as he has a headache back in the Deadman's base, but he also wanted to eat Ikki's mom and Daichi! How is this connected? More to that, introducing a new character, the Director Akaishi, or Hideo Akaishi. At first, I thought the commander rank of Wakabayashi and Hiromi is the highest rank in FENIX, but seems they also have director. Hideo Akaishi is the director of Fenix and the superior to Hiromi Kadota after he was promoted to commander. When Giff's casket was brought over to Fenix's labs for research, Akaishi visited Hiromi and George Karizaki to speculate the potential secrets the casket could contain. One thing that's off about him is that he share a mysterious glare with George, some even said they saw George smile in this scene. How creepy. And we also have Kanae Motomura, a member of the Deadmans who was approached by Olteca following Fenix's raid on the Deadmans Base and met with him inside a cafe, where Olteca gave her orders to gather the now-scattered members of the Deadmans. Her role is still unknown... And wow! This episode features the debuts the Volcano Vistamp as well as the debuts of Revi Volcano Rex Genome and Vice Barid Rex Genome! Well, it seems like Vice is still behind Revi by a step, but it might be that this is how they want to present from the first, so that might be it. Guess that I think I understand the conception of this form. Since Ikki became so hot that he could not bare it. The only way to fight as Volcano Rex Genome is to have Vice who has become Barid Rex Genome by his side. With the counter of Melting Fire and Freezing Ice, it will counteract each other and become zero, so no side effect! That's what I think. Let's talk about the opening. Now the scene in the bath house is a bit different by now. Ikki playing with Daichi, Sakura with her mom, and now Vice is bathing with Revi! Wakabayashi is now disappear from the opening while Hiromi Kadota/ Kamen Rider Demons, be in his posittion. But we also have Director Akaishi! He must definitely has an important role! But the 3 Deadmans is still there, even they are now torn apart... Oh! The virtual world of Ikki and Vice really did seems really like inside of ZEA right? And when George witnesses the Deadmans attacking on TV, he is briefly seen holding a cup of coffee with a Kamen Rider Kuuga drink sleeve on it. Also, the flashback scene of Julio, where they has something cross people's eyes in Julio's flashback, that's a recall to Kamen Rider Ryuki opening. Interestingly, KR Ryuki is the series that use card to fight, and they even present those cards really much in the opening. I never watch Ryuki, but it seems a bit like they brought the card fight game into the world of Kamen Rider, but it was nothing compare to the real deal like Yugioh I think. Well, people said that Ryuki is super intense and really dark. Guess it will be one of my last series that I want to watch in Heisei. I never finish Kuuga, Faiz, Blade, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, OOO, Wizard, Gaim. But I already completed Decade, W, Drive, Ghost, Ex-aid (I think?), Build, Zi-O, Zero-One, and Saber. What I think now is I will start with Kuuga, the series that people thinks it is one of the best, but I still recommend Build anyway. Ok, see you next time! It then came into the possession of Fenix, who conducted studies on it that led to the creation of the Vistamps. The Genomic Stamper resembles the Deadmans emblem. The Gifterian transformation is scary for sure!!! And interesting point that Vice is the only other one we've seen that wants to eat people...!!! The glance between George and the director has me really suspicious!!! Good point about the side effects getting cancelled out, too! Oh I didn't even catch the changes in the opening!! The virtual world was totally like ZEA!! Oh, good call on the Ryuki reference! So cool about the Olteca reference too! Thanks for all the info and sorry it took me so long to get back to you!!!!!!!!!
