Hey everyone!  I'm back today, with some more cinematics, YAY!!!!  I had a lot of fun seeing more new characters, a few familiar characters (I think!), and seeing gorgeous new worlds!!  I'm very curious about The Mist and I would legit watch an entire series about the Spirit Blossom cinematic!  The last one about Zaun was interesting as well....was that shimmer, or something else entirely?!  I know some of you have said that next season of Arcane's villain may be derived from some of the events of that cinematic, so I'm curious!!!  Another great batch you guys!  Stay tuned for what's next!!!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Haven't watched the video yet, sadly because I have a thing to do, but I know it will be a banger because they always are! I do have enough time to quickly jot down what I wanted to say about Warwick's video. First of all, gosh I forgot how lowkey terrifying his video was, the horror game first person view definitely didn't help either with that haha. Secondly, I believe and someone correct me if I'm wrong but shimmer in the League game is actually green - I don't know exactly why they changed it to purple for Arcane (and like I said someone please correct me if I'm wrong) - and if I am wrong I believe its called Chem-tech and is usually what Zaunite champions have powering their weapons and such. Thirdly, Warwick is actually quite the tragic tale, once a Zaunite gangster who was trying to go on the straight and narrow, he now prowls the streets of Zaun hunting it's bad blood. And other people in general but he usually goes for not great guys - he kinda just likes hunting people so if he has a reason to dislike you then you're kinda done for. And lastly, there is a very long running theory, almost as long as the one league fans had about Vi and Jinx being sisters, that Warwick may have something to do with Jinx and Vi's past. And that theory has only been backed up by a recent one that came out upon Arcane's release.... that theory being that Vander could be Warwick (in Arcane's lore). It's honestly an extremely interesting theory, I really wonder if they go that way, but asides from that I look forward to seeing what Warwick will bring us next season if he really is gonna be in it and not just a sneaky cameo. But yeah! I'm sure the video will be killer when I get the chance to watch all of it! And I'll definitely come back to watch and put my thoughts down on the rest of the vids! But I gotta go now, looking forward to watching the full video when I get the chance! Hope you're having a great day/night!

Well the focus on warwick was more my concern than the other stuff :D with the trailer for season 2 being what it is.

Those were in fact enforcers! Just future ones, essentially. The bulk of the "present" in league's storyline takes place several years after the events of season 1 of Arcane. In the Warriors video you saw Caitlyn and Vi in their more adult forms, which occurs roughly at the same time as this.

Also to answer your general questions about the game; it's a team-based top down MOBA. There's not really a story you play through or anything related to the cinematics. The expanded media universe is largely its own thing, with the gameplay of League being a non-canon battle between a bunch of important characters. Sort of like smash bros, but a different genre of game. There are several story-based games released recently that I think you'd enjoy better, especially The Ruined King, which picks up directly after Kin of the Stained Blade and has Yasuo and Ahri (the fox girl he was on the boat at the end with) in the main cast.

Hello! The thing I’m thinking about mostly throughout all this doesn’t have to do so much with the cinematic s themselves, but I was thinking about the huge impact LOTR had on people wanting to create fantasy worlds - both for shows and for games. You can kind of see the influences spread throughout stories like these, but the matter of fact is if that franchise doesn’t blow up with the movies the way it did, people might not ever have felt like they could start building their own worlds like this and making them viable. Non-related anime note: one mew anime I’ve picked up recently and am quite enjoying so far is “Love of Kill.” I don’t want to say too much, but I’m quite invested in how it’s developing so far (it only started about two months ago.) So, you know - add it to the recommended list when we get there. 😃

Other important context I forgot; the Odyssey video, where Jinx is in space, is a skin universe. League has many alternate universes where look very different but are roughly the same characters and these are used as costumes for the characters in the game. The Odyssey line is one of them, and that was Odyssey Jinx, Yasuo (who's the main character from Kin of the Stained Blade), Malphite (the rock monster who was also in You Really Got Me), and Sona (the woman who helped Ryze in Call of Power) Also, I highly recommend you watch the other pieces in the Ruination storyline. It starts with The Climb, then Senna: Shadow's Embrace. The music videos they do for the world championships are all also very well made. Rise, Phoenix, Ignite, Legends Never Die, and Take Over.

I know you don't watch dubbed anime, but pretty sure the "anime" one, "Kin of the Stained Blade", featured voice actor Liam O'Brien as the adult version of the younger brother, unless my ears deceive me. Liam O'Brien is also among the cast of The Legend of Vox Machina....his character is the Half-Elf Rogue.
