Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction and review of Clone Wars 7x12!  The last one....the culmination of all the action, drama, heartache, character growth, etc.  And wow, did it hit hard!  Should have known that Maul was gonna get in our way at some point, and that scen with all the clones was so tense!!!!  We came this close to maybe making a dent in convincing them, too!  The not being a Jedi argument was sound....but still, we couldn't get through.  I love Ahsoka's resolve to not hurt any of her friends, and Rex's plea that they don't care if they kill her....all while tears stream down his face :(((((  I'm so grateful that they made it out okay, even though they're clearly not okay-okay.  And that final scene....the image of Vader as seen through a fallen clone's helmet, painted to look like Ahsoka....it's heartbreakingly chef's kiss!!!!!  >.<  Such a great ep and a phenomenal series!  See you in Rebels!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

This is one of the best, most bittersweet endings of all time imo. I just sat in my chair for a bit after the ending the first time, just trying to calm down. Even knowing some of the end result, it hits hard every time. And Rebels is no different. So excited to finally see your reactions to the new cast, the twists, the big moments, and how it ends. Especially now that we’ve seen Ahsoka in Mandalorian and she’s getting her own show this year! So glad you decided to watch Clone Wars, it’s been my favorite series from you!

I've been with this series since the beginning. Back in 2020 when I first experienced this. It fully shattered that thought/hope I've always had of it turning out differently and for the better for Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and everyone in-between. Even now, here experiencing it again through your reaction and every other time I've seen since 2020. It still hurts just as bad. But it was inevitable and thee perfect ending to an Era and show. Now imma experience 2 other near & dear series through your reaction. Bad Batch and Rebels. I know I'm pretty late here tho.

I totally hear you, it never gets easier to watch things go in this direction does it! I'm glad you could relive it through my reactions, and I hope you love my Bad Batch and Rebels ones too!!! No worries on being late, the reactions aren't going anywhere! :) I'll be curious to hear what you think!!!

Any chance there could be a reaction for a rewatch of episode 3? It's definitely a whole different experience after watching the clone wars.

I would love to do that! I'd just need to find time! I know I'd have a whole new perspective on it now that I've seen Clone Wars!!!!!!!!!!! If that's something folks are interested in, let me know!!!!!!

A lifeless clone looks onto eternity as THE great hero of the Clone Wars, now represents the tyranny and evil, the clones were forced to implement. I also love Ahsoka staring into the middle distance at the clones, and wondering what the war was all about for her. We first see her as an enthusiastic cocky kid, sure of her abilities, and gets paired up with the most talented Knight in the Order, and sees over the course of the early war, that she has much to learn and failure to overcome. During it, she learns responsibility, what it truly means to be a Jedi as well as a soldier who gains the respect of her men in the 501st. Then she begins to see everything is not as black and white as she thought, as she sees first hand that the politics and corruption of the Republic isn't what she imagined when she was assigned to Anakin. Then she gets abandoned by the very Order she held sacred and has to become a sort of outlaw, finding her way in the universe and rediscovering a purpose. And finally, when she gets back in the fight, her friends and soldiers turn against her and she barely gets out, and has to fake her death and find a new life once more. The Clone Wars was her coming of age, and what a story it was. I remember writing on Youtube Mel when you watched the Ahsoka episode of The Mandalorian, that despite you already connecting with her and guessing what she went through, that you had no idea of the story of her life to that point; and now you are beginning to see just why she is so beloved, because her journey is one of the most emotional in the entire franchise. Anyway, glad you loved the show, it is truly great Star Wars, and though Rebels is a completely different show in feel and scope, I think you'll have fun and tears with that too. Look forward to seeing more of your reactions to that.

Uggghhh!!! That shot is so symbolic right?! Yes, Ahsoka comes so far in this series just to wonder, what did it all mean? So sad to think she finds her way back only for this to happen. Ugh, you are so right that I had no idea when I saw her in Mandalorian!!! This series was amazing, thanks for sharing your thoughts on it! I'm loving Rebels so far too!!! Hope you love my reactions!!
