Red vs. Blue 6x05 - 6x08 - reaction & review (Patreon)

Hey everyone!  Here I am with Red vs. Blue, season 6, eps 5 - 8!  Oh wow, we get more craziness and also a little more deeper story info in this one.  So we know at least some of the details of what happened during the explosion/crash....plus, we get some really interesting details on the origins of the AI program!!!  Still absolutely loving the rapport between Wash and our crew, and speaking of our crew - I was beyond tickled to hear that music playing when some of our Red friends showed up!!!  Last but not least, what an ending!!!  I KNOW Caboose is not dead!!!  But wow, that was super creepy, all those AIs summoning Delta....!!!  Can't wait to know more and see what happens next!  Great eps!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

2023-01-15 20:32:14 On last week’s reaction I completely forgot to talk about the new additions to your shelf. Love the Funko Pop’s and especially the signed Yang artwork. Was it a gift or did you get it for yourself? Also just curious is it just a signature or is there a message with it? Really cool, a little jealous but I have my own signed Penny artwork so no problem. This was a great set of episodes to see your reaction to. I love that the messages at the start of the episodes introduce the weird stuff going on with the AI we have been seeing in the show. Considering what the chairman has been saying about freelancer and the suspicion shown it makes sense that more secrecy is happening like Wash not being allowed in. Especially because we hear of investigations into everything going on. “A concrete base. Is it our birthday?” Is 1 of the best jokes in these episodes. I really like Washington’s explosive distraction. The best part of the grav lift thing is in the games the characters don’t rag doll they are more skilled. The thing with the ship crashing is a bit of a retcon. I think they made it more like there was an explosion while the ship was teleporting somewhere else which caused enough damage to make the ship crash. Also they depicted the chaos and stress of a crash like that really well. I think the weird stuff with the radio call you noticed was command discussing what exactly to share with Wash. What South tried to do to Delta and what we learned she did to her brother really made me hate her. The battle against the Meta here was good. The way they get Caboose to “help” is just the best LOL. Also him throwing the grenade at the wall with Washington’s line of “worst throw ever… Of all time.” Is the other funniest things in these episodes but also 1 of the best comedic moments of the series in my opinion. I love how they depicted the menacing presence of the Meta and how powerful it is. Also they got lucky. I don’t blame Delta for taking almost being abandoned personally. It is scary how cold freelancers are but South was asking for it. What you said about it being like 2 shows coming together was a great way to describe it. I love how the different worlds and personalities interact. The miraculous shot from Church is amazing and hilarious especially with Washington discounting it. Also the entrance of the Reds entrance is fantastic. Oh yeah the moment with Delta at the end… I hate it too. It has such a horror movie feel to it. I think my favorite part of these reactions is how much the show makes you laugh and come up with ideas and theories. Loving the reactions and theories. I can’t wait to see the next reaction. You’re going to love it. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Oh, I'm so glad you like my new shelf addition!!!!! It was a gift from a Patron here named Chris!!! It says "Melissa, You Rock" XD That's AWESOME that you have your own signed Penny autograph!!!!!!!! Yes the letters are really interesting! And the concrete base joke was great haha. Ohhh okay, thanks for clarifying that the ship explanation is a tiny bit of a retcon! Oh yeah I was super done with South after hearing/seeing all that too. And the grenade throw joke was epic!!! So was Caboose "helping" haha. Oh yeah, they're doing a great job of building up the Meta here. And yeah, poor Delta!!!! It's crazy when a creature who technically isn't supposed to have "feelings" is less cold than the human being in charge of it. Church's shot was awesome hahaha, loved that dialogue too. Oh man, starting to get a few of the juicy details about the AIs. You’re doing a really good job keeping up so far, I don’t think I was connecting any of it the first time I watched.
