Hey everyone!  Here I am with Red vs. Blue, season 6, eps 13 - 16!  WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT!!!  WOW you guys, insert head explosion noises here!  I had a great time with our usual variety of wonderful humor from Caboose, not to mention the ongoing greatness that is the witty repertoire between Sarge and the Reds.  And awww poor Grif got demoted!  Also I'd like to point out that Caboose's plan was the best one!
And last but not least....total twist at the end, although I'm proud of myself that I at least recognized that they were trying to set up a trail of breadcrumbs here.....!!!  WOW, I need to go back and watch EVERY scene with Church over again with this new knowledge!!!  SO many things make sense now though...dang!!!  Cannot wait to see what this means going forward!  Great eps!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

2023-01-15 20:31:51 These were some great reactions to this set of episodes. I really love how you described the humor shining brighter as the show gets darker it’s really true. Also about knowing the characters so well without even seeing their faces people have their own interpretations of what they might look like more than one in fact but you probably should not look any of that up because of spoilers but you would probably be interested after getting caught up. Just a reminder we have seen the counselor’s (guy talking to Washington) face. I love how episode 13 starts out with total chaos from the Reds in a stolen Jeep. Washington’s mocking impersonation of Sarge is hilarious. None of them having any faith in their plans is funny in a sad way. You have to feel bad for Wash having to deal with this level of ridiculousness. I relate to Grif wanting to do something cool and then going nope too scary/dangerous because it’s definitely a moment many people have gone through in not only Halo but many video games. I like that from time to time the reds & blues can be awesome/successful. Also something that represents this show well is Murphy’s Law because everything often goes wrong. 1 of the best things about this show is its comedic timing demonstrated here with Church’s empty body falling over. Even though he’s obviously very angry it’s nice to see Washington show some genuine sympathy for losing people which makes you wonder who has Wash lost? It’s really great to see Wash show off his skills and how badass he is by taking out the airship and like the old saying goes (cool guys don’t look at explosions) doesn’t look at the destruction. In a really weird way you have to admire Sarge’s wholehearted laser focus on screwing over Grif and its ridiculous that this is how Wash gets them to help. I like that Caboose has a great idea to get into command and it makes sense that having a more simplistic view on things allows him to think of things others might not. Also Church would definitely fail an improv class LOL. I think the reason I enjoy how you feel about Caboose being a son to you since much like many people I get that way about certain characters in shows I watch as well. It’s impressive that they could make the simple growls from the Meta so scary. The plan to sneak past the guards is sound for a rather impromptu plan. And I like how Washington motivates them with getting back at the organization that has caused them so many problems. I like that you have treat Caboose like a kid with the quiet game being a way to try to calm down energetic children. I love that the creators utilize areas from the Halo games for what the show needs. The reveal that they had come here for Epsilon was really interesting. I love that you were so intrigued you had to jump right into episode 16. Episode 16 is 1 of my favorite episodes of this season. I love the slow reveals and build up of this episode. It’s incredible to learn Wash’s true motivations after learning too much planning the long game of getting revenge on command with us being able to connect things. Also the more one hears about what command did to Alpha the angrier/upset you get even thinking about torture disgusts me. It’s amazing to see all the pieces slowly fall into place with everything Washington brings up. There has always been something off about Church and now we know why. Also the way the music builds up with each thing Wash says is so hype as we get to the big revelation. It really is great how much it all makes sense. As you said the more realistic it got the more things started not to add up. Also I don’t know for sure but I have to assume they started planning a bigger story around season 4 or 5. Good job picking up on a lot of stuff. All I can do in response to all your questions is smile mysteriously/knowingly. The best way to describe this show is trying to put a puzzle together in a pitch black room LOL. I cannot wait for your next reaction to this show you will love it and lose your mind. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Hey!! I'm so happy you enjoyed my reactions, yay!! And my discussion! Oh and good call that we've seen the counselor's face. But yeah, it's fun to think that we know them so well without seeing their faces (yet anyway...maybe down the road??? Who knows!!) Yes Wash's impression was great! And so true about the danger/scariness outweighing the need to do something cool haha. But every once in a while our crew really does pull it off! Excellent point about Murphy's law and also possible people that Wash has lost. And yes it's really almost admirable that Sarge is so determined to screwing over Grif lol! Yes Caboose is totally my son now! And I loved that he came up with such a good idea! Sometimes the least complicated answer is the best one hehe. Yes they do an awesome job of making the Meta really scary even with minimal things like just the growl. Yes Wash gave a very rousing speech there! And Caboose with the quiet game was amazing haha. Omg I was dying to see what happens! OMG the reveals of ep 16!!!! Yes it's another reason to really despise Command. And it was also cool to hear the whole thing laid out by Wash. The reveal of Church was sooo good!! Yes, Church has always stood out a bit hasn't he! Yeah the realism started making things stand out even more. Yay, I'm so glad I'm picking up on stuff!!!! And omg, your description is intriguing in a very intense and stressful way haha!!! I am filming my next reaction tomorrow, and I absolutely cannot wait!!! Thank you so much for all your kindness and support!!!!!!!!! XD

The revelation that Church is the Alpha is like my favorite scene in RvB. The build up, the music, the payoff is just too good!
