Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to Obi-Wan Kenobi, episode 1!!!!!  SQUEEEEEE!!!  I have been waiting SO LONG for this you guys!!!!  And not only did it not disappoint - IT BLEW ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!  I had ZERO CLUE that we'd be getting Baby Luke, a LOT of Baby Leia, Bail Organa, etc.!!!  So many cameos, such an interesting plot thread we're creating, and it's beyond awesome to see Obi-Wan again, of course!!!  As sad as it makes me to see him so broken, I have a feeling he's gonna have to get back in the game pretty fast now that - GASPS - Baby Leia has been taken!!!!  Save her, Obi-Wan....you're her only hope!!!  GREAT EP!!!  Enjoy!!  ~ MH

When I watched this episode with Leia it prompted me to wonder why it was that Luke was the special twin to be watched rather than both Luke and Leia, especially as we know that both males and females can be force sensitive. One possibility is that Leia and Luke were only scripted to be sisters after the first Star Wars Movie, and another is a bit of good old fashioned sexism in having a male hero character in a film. A third possibility is that there is a good reason within the Star Wars story for this that was originally there, or has since developed. But anyway, Leia was really well cast and characterised by the writers in this. I I have also often wondered why baby Luke was sent into hiding on Owen and Beru's farm: a place Anakin knew: it seems an odd thing to do but perhaps the thinking was that Anakin (Darth Vader) would never go back there because of his past.

And as you said at the end of your video, Ewan McGregor was fantastic as Obi again: he looked so good but also he managed to clearly express where Obi Wan was mentally just through his demeanour really, really well.
