Hey everyone!  Here it is, my reaction to the Relocated miniseries!!!  Wow, it was great to be back to some familiar shenanigans in this one, gotta say!!!  Watching Sarge go to literally any lengths to humiliate or endanger Grif just never gets old lol!!!  Also, what is my Caboose up to???  Also, we get some bad news about Sister (if it is indeed true, Grif was doubtful lol), Lopez is back, and OMG DONUT!!!!!  An incredibly thirsty and worn out Donut returns to give us some vague and mysterious info that will undoubtedly be important next season!!!  Loved the fun and also the build to what's coming next!  I can only hope that Church will be back soon too!!!  XD  Great stuff!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Mmmm what indeed is Caboose doing. And Donut has brought the same message that Tucker was sending at the end of s6. What could it all mean i wonder?

Don't know if it's been mentioned to you before, but the creators have stated that Caboose is the only one who has an awareness that he's a fictional character. Always fit in well with Wash's statement to the Blues and Reds: "You think you're real soldiers? You're not!".

kamenriderhime

What!!! WOW!!! No I don't think I'd heard that....if I did I forgot lol. It does fit really well actually lol!

Heya, I finally caved and jumped in here when I saw you were doing RvB. It's fun watching someone else discover everything for the first time. It's as close as I can get it to seeing it for the first time again lol. The feels are real. Also, just as general Halo trivia, AIs don't really have rights, normally they're supposed to be deactivated after 7 years or they basically go insane. There was a short story written a few years back about an AI who tried to fight for life after turning seven. So the bit about the Director torturing an AI would probably not be seen as especially heinous in actual Halo canon. Also also, they're not part of the story, but the Red vs Blue PSAs were hysterical and I highly recommend. I quote some of them to this day. "Report a la Bug. That's French for Bug Report"

The creators of the show said this miniseries was an attempt at a “balancing act,” as Season 6 was VERY focused on the Blues, and there wasn’t a whole lot for the Reds to contribute plot wise. This was their way of giving the other team some more screen time. Simmons mentions all the radios in their base have been disabled, he’s referring to the same bases we saw at the start of Season 6, and this is the terrain Omega caused utter chaos in, and was discussed in the first episode of Season 6 with Private Walter. Sarge will do anything to put Grif in mortal danger. I mean, forget life insurance, Grif needs Sarge insurance. How DO you miss an 800 foot ladder? You know, this was a few years before the show even started, but I immediately thought “huh, I wonder which bird is causing Grif so much havoc? Qrow or Raven?” Their whole discussion about “clearing the blockage” while Grif is on top of the tower is meant to be a play on words in the medical term. By the way, this show isn’t RWBY, because “Grimm” comedy like the whole discussion about Grif’s sister, they happen quite a bit in the show. For the MOST part, you’ll be able to tell the difference between when the show is doing something to get a cackle and when it’s getting serious. Caboose was sneaking around Tex’a crashed spaceship. But ooh, what IS he doing? Good question! You asked about the Blues, and right now, we have three main Blues. Church is dead. Tucker is missing. Caboose is being shady/creepy. So there’s not a whole lot to go on with that team. Also the subtitles did say “Caboose WTF” in the last episode when he was being strange. (Sarge would say this gives them a tactical advantage.) Tucker had one off screen line and we haven’t seen Donut at all since Season 5 finished. Did Lopez really do what he said? Also, notice how he immediately tried to escape once he realized he was talking to Sarge? Not all robots love their masters. 😅 I could tell you what’s going on but… Melissa… stop being nosy. Do you want to lose all your reacting privileges? 😉

Not much to say about this 1. However I do agree that it’s nice to get back to this kind of tone with the brilliant comedy. It’s cool to see the characters get settled into these new bases especially with the shenanigans they get up to. And once again Sarge’s hatred of Grif is impressive and happens in a fantastic fashion. I think it’s funny that even Simmons at this point in the show is done with Sarge’s hijinks LOL. In my opinion Grif was the most hilarious character in this miniseries. I love the mystery element of what Caboose is up to. Also it was great to see Donut again and him bringing the message makes you wonder even more what’s going on with Tucker. The holographic simulation thing was really cool and another thing to add to Lopez being impressive. I love how much you have become invested in this story it makes it even more enjoyable to watch your reactions. You discussing and trying to come up with theories is great. Don’t worry about being wrong it’s just fun to watch you talk about this show. I hope you are excited for what’s to come in the story. I can’t wait for you to experience season 7 I have this funny feeling you will love it. Awesome reaction and keep up the great work. :-) <3

Donut! 🍩 and believe it or not I got to work and someone left two pink donuts with sprinkles for me. It was a sign! 😲

YAY!! Thanks so much and welcome aboard!! I'm glad you're enjoying seeing me watch it! So many feels right?? Ohhh that's interesting about AIs in Halo. That sounds vaguely familiar because I did watch someone play Halo a loooong time ago. Sheesh, even worse that it would fly in the actual game canon too!! OMG those sound like so much fun!!! I definitely wanna see them at some point!!!

kamenriderhime

Ahhh ok, that makes sense that they wanted to balance it! Oh yes, when he said that about the radios, it make me think of that place they mentioned at the beginning of the season! HAHAHAHA Sarge Insurance DEFINITELY needs to be a thing! The premiums would be insane though!! LOL!!!!!! I love that we could retroactively make this a crossover by means of the birds!!! OHHHHHH that's what clearing the blockage meant!!! Yeah, I can pretty much read the tone like you said, but the Sister thing bummed me out at first for sure haha. Yes, I thought it was the crashed spaceship!!! Hmmmmmm!!! Yeah things aren't looking great for the Blues!! And so funny about the captions!! Hmmm, are we sure Sarge isn't somehow involved in these captions??? If a "Suck it Blues" line shows up one day, we'll know for sure lol. Hahahaha poor Lopez, he just wants some peace from Sarge and all his madness!!! LOL no I suppose that is the whole point of the reactions, you know, the not knowing what comes next :P

kamenriderhime

Yes!!! Loving the shift back in tone, as awesome as s6 was! LOL Sarge is just relentless for sure, even to the point that Simmons has given up! Grif was awesome. I know, I'm so curious about what's going on now! And so nice to see Donut!!! I'm really glad you're enjoying my reactions and I'm for sure invested!! Haha thanks, I do love making theories, even when they're wrong, it's fun! I can't wait!!! Thank you for all your kindness and support!!!! ^_^

kamenriderhime

Whaaattttt!!!!!!!!!!! It was for sure a sign!!! Also pink with sprinkles is like the best donut ever XD

Can't wait for you to see more. Season 7 also made me realize my fave Red was always Grif. 👌 But anyways, so glad Donut is back. Much like Caboose he is loved by the community so we love ever time he makes a dramatic return to us. What I love about season 7 is it makes you realize that the Red and Blues are fully fleshed out characters. And that you've grown to love each of them. Even the ones that made you cringe at times. Like season 7 has some great Red team moments. And I appreciate it. Also as a Grimmons (Grif x Simmons) shipper. I love their dynamic from beginning to end. Fun fact in season 6 when Simmons and Grif are about to be shot. And Simmons says he wants to tell Grif something. I always interpret it as him trying to say, "I secretly always cared about you." Which is why he sounds so frustrated and disappointed when he hears Grif admit to the whole credit card stuff. He was expecting Grif to say something similar. Also notice that Simmons always worries for Grif's safety whenever he isn't being a kissass. Makes you wonder why he is so obsessed with pleasing Sarge and getting his approval that he overlooks his obvious friendship (maybe more than that 🤔) with Grif. And I love how they explore the two over time. Another really cute (not Canon but still amazing fact) is that the VA for Grif. Says he always believed that secretly Grif has a crush on Simmons. He just likes messing with him. And he doesn't want to admit his feelings. (But again VA interpretation does not make things canon, but I like to imagine in some ways he is right.)

kamenriderhime

Oooh interesting, I just started season 7 and now I'm curious to pay closer attention to Grif! Yay Donut!!! Haha that's amazing, yeah, it's like between all that silly humor their actual selves kinda snuck up on us and made us love them...! Ohhhh I'm interested in the Grimmons ship! Wow, when you really look at all these facts laid out, there's quite a bit of evidence for it huh? Makes total sense! Awwwww love that even the VA acknowledges it, even if it's not straight canon. Yay!!!! Thanks for informing me, I can really see it now that I think about it!
