Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 1 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!  Here we are, kicking off season 2!!!  Rimuru for sure has built quite the busy life, and I had a blast getting to see us further our negotiations with Lord Carrion's neck of the woods.  Something tells me our new animalistic friends will come around more quickly after seeing how we do in combat, so maybe Rimuru just had this whole thing planned out?  Lol.  Stoked to be on board for another season, let's go!!!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I really like that ending theme, too. Hi! There's only a couple of minor things to comment on here. I really wish I could see all of Benimaru's outfit, but, alas, we don't. This episode really does a lot to establish the power scaling better overall. And did you notice that reception building has a sculpture of Rimuru on it, as do a lot of architectural and decor features? That brandy wasn't just any old brandy, that was the product of a lot of experimentation to get it as good as the brandy back home. The hot spring was transported from the source by shadow walking the pipes to shorten the distance and to keep it hot. At the time only Rimuru and Souei could do that. There's a huge emphasis on protocol in this story for international diplomacy. Albis and Suphia seemed like the good cop-bad cop pair, and if Rimuru guessed that it was OK to have to fight the Beastketeers, it certainly looked like Shion took it seriously! And it will be a bit more time before they show everything that happened before Rimuru took his official leave of the school.

So full disclosure I have seen 24.5 & 24.9 which are 95% recap but they do drop some info on what’s coming regarding one character in particular. Let’s see… first, I see you’ve been paying close attention in TSUNDERE 101, kids? The tough act isn’t fooling anyone when you shoo Rimuru away. Rimuru is so popular now that maybe it’s a good thing he doesn’t have to sleep. Seems like something somewhere is always in need of his attention. Do you get frequent flier miles for using that spatial distortion trick? It’d be nice to just be able to flip to wherever you wanted in the blink of an eye… I do think it’s amusing the way they’ve crafted all the village pottery with Rimuru’s face on it, and he’s just trying to copy it. Unfortunately for him, Shion and Shuna seem that he’s their, well… for lack of a better description, dress up boy toy doll. Maybe it’s a good thing he has to keep bouncing around otherwise they’d do this to him all day. 😂 It’s a good thing Shuna is the one teaching the cooks. Can you imagine the international incident if Shion was the one giving those instructions? 😅 Where’d you guys get the fireworks from for the send off, Fourth of July was last week! Also, totally get Rimuru not wanting to make a long speech. He’s a doer not a talker. It seems that Youm has become the PR firm for the JTF. Also bad mushroom? *cough* am I the only one screaming Mario reference here? 😂 There does seem to be an underlying issue when the delegation shows up and that’s monsters distrust humans. That’s what started the whole scrap in the first place. Also, maybe don’t get on Shion’s bad side…?? 😬 Subiha, the person she’s fighting - that voice is one I feel like I’ve heard somewhere else though. Rimuru you went from wanting peace to instigating a scrap? I think maybe you’ve spent too much time with your kids. You’re as mischievous as they are! 😉

Rimuru's goal is, delegate!......It seems to me that Suphia only provoked Rimuru and his people with that stuff about humans and slimes because she was trying to get a rise out of them.

2022-08-26 23:53:43 I really liked Rimuru’s first speech. It was short, sweet & simple. It’s nice seeing things coming together very nicely. I love it. I wonder if there is a reason as to why Milim and Shion are shown in the endings theme alone. But maybe I’m just overthinking.

Yes!!! Very to the point! Yeah it's so rewarding to see everything come together. Hmm, yeah, I was kinda wondering the same thing! It's just an odd pairing lol, but who knows, maybe it's just coincidence!

It's great right! Ah, maybe we'll see more of Benimaru's outfit in the future! Yes, I noticed Rimuru on the reception hall and in the decor, what a great touch!!! Whoa, that's a lot of work for that brandy! But it makes sense as to why it's so good and unique. Yes I thought that was a nice touch to focus on the protocol. Lol Shion was not playing around!!! Oh nice, I'm glad we'll get a bit more time before we're done with the school story completely!

Hahahha seems the kids have taken on an extracurricular with that class :P Oh yeah, Rimuru needs every spare hour he can get since he's always so needed somewhere. OMG wouldn't that spatial distortion be nice to have?? Omg I love the pottery and him trying to shape into it hahaha! And yeah, I'd say that's pretty accurate about Shion and Shuna! :P Yeah Rimuru is a man of action, not speeches!! And lol a little late for fireworks I guess. Ohhhh that was a Mario reference wasn't it!!! Yeah the whole monster/human thing seems deeply rooted. I wonder who the voice was! Hahahha yeah those kids have been a bad influence right!!! :P

Oh cool!! Yeah, something tells me they wouldn't have respected that! Diplomacy doesn't seem to go as far in some cases as a show of strength maybe?? Depending on the culture!

Of course...to the residents, only in Tempest Jura Federation is the question of what biki- er I mean outfit Rimuru wears is of the utmost importance hehehe
