Hey everyone!  Here's my reaction to episode 126!  WOW..........RIP Netero :(  He fought and fought and fought, but at the end of the day, he always had a plan for how to take care of this once and for all, even if it cost him his life.  Even in death, it felt like he was still in control.  I legitimately do not even know what this could mean!  Could the king have made it out?  If not, what will happen next?!  I can't wait to see!  Great ep!  Enjoy!!  ~ MH

The Lazy Genius

yeah there was another crazy foreshadow for netero in episode 6 or 7 I belive when he was playing ball with gon and killua, and was only using one arm and one leg which he lost in this fight

The Lazy Genius

yeah this is why I love the hxh fights it's not about who's stronger in simple boring hand to hand shonen cliche, it's about strategy

Cody

Haven’t watched these in a while just cause it’s so time consuming, but I just saw the episode that got uploaded to YT and what we’re getting close to. Time to binge ~50 episodes! XD

kamenriderhime

Ohhh I'm glad you're gonna be checking them out, yay!!! Hope you enjoy, this arc was soooo good!!! XD

Senpai

I prefer Netero's final line untranslated fromthe manga, because due to word choice it could mean either: "Don't underestimate humanity's evolution" or "Don't underestimate humanity's malice." The double meaning in those last words honestly really fits Netero's character.

The-Buddyguard

Just so you're always reminded how much the creator, Togashi, is a troll; remember way back towards the beginning of the invasion, Netero said he didn't know he could accomplish the mission without sacrificing someone? Yeah, talking about himself the entire time. Yes, that in itself is super sad, but leaving the answer up in the air like that is quintessential Togashi right there 😂 Also, Bungee Gum has the properties of both rubber and gum, as well #schwing

Manny

Yes I really liked what you said at the beginning of your second reaction. About how both man and ant are seeing and thinking during their exchange in battle. Netero having experience, there is a sort of finality he doesn't see on things and Meruem having these practices with Komugi gave him a better outlook on his opponents strikes. It's like they were both neck and neck but still not. In a big showdown battle I expect something like Dragon ball and two powerhouses to go all out like Goku or something. But Netero being at this most effective stance, with many of these combinations to answer each of Meruems blows and Meruem having experience with getting used to rhythms is what makes this awesome. You expect two titans to exchange blows like no ones business but for both combatants they have to think and be careful with what one another is thinking. Lol thousands of combinations and hits we never see cause we'd be here forever but knowing one strike upon thousands was what Meruem was working towards made it all the more surreal. It's one King trying to figure out a thousand outcomes and a man trying not to mess up a single step or else. It was unexpected and beautiful but haunting to see Neteros end. 🙏 ✋ 🤚 👐 🤲 🙌 💅

kamenriderhime

OHHHHHHH I do remember him saying that, WOW!!! That was foreshadowed EARLY, dang. And yes, it's signature Togashi!!! Good note on Bungee Gum and LOL "#schwing"!!!! I'm dying!!!! XD

kamenriderhime

Thanks!!! I'm glad you liked it! Exactly, they're kind of neck and neck yet not at the same time. I agree that the handling of the blows and how it reflects their skills is a big part of what makes this fight scene so awesome! They're not just powerful, they're strategic. Yes we'd be in another 100 ep arc if they showed every possible combo! So tense! I couldn't have worded it better myself - beautiful and haunting. RIP Netero!!!!!!!!
