Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to season 2 episode 22 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!  Here we are at Walpurgis!!!  Can I just tell you how much it makes me SICK to hear Clayman run his mouth!  So glad we were able to get a fight sanctioned here, and after some arm twisting, they even allowed for some assistance to Rimuru.  Dang guys, I would NOT wanna have to face off against Milim!!!  The fact that Rimuru can even stay alive shows how much more powerful he's gotten.  Oh yeah, and VELDORA HAS ENTERED THE CHAT!!!!  Yeeeesssss so good to see you friend!  Can't wait to see what's gonna happen!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Oh, I was editing the one where Rimuru recreates the golem and they mention he summoned a demon. So sorry for my confused talk about Diablo here!!

Hi Hime :) Shuna is a boss and has just recruited an army of undead who only wants to live in the city of Rimuru. The city will be full of the strangest creatures in one place. Raphael leaving to sulk after Rimuru cuts her off lol But no, she would surely say that she having gained a personality is only our imagination. Do you remember I said that Clayman better remember his own words when he said "The truth cannot be hidden", I think he should have, because there, all his lies collapsed before his eyes... I also told you that Clayman was going to get what he deserves in the most beautiful way, it was with Shion taking revenge that I mentioned that. I knew you were going to like it ;). Concerning Bereta, Guy and Diablo, yes Bereta comes from a demon of the Noir line, so Diablo. Guy is called Rouge by Bereta, the last we hear of Rouge was in the Season 1 finale, where we first meet Noir who ends up facing a demon of Rouge's bloodline. So here it is, Diablo and Guy are both primordial demons, as much to say that Rimuru has a hell of a servant now. For the rest, don't worry, you'll have explanations, but also other surprises that I can't wait to see you discover. Oh and by the way, this Sunday I was talking about the anime that you were watching apart from the reactions, it's because in the anime of the season there is one that I really like and that I think you would like too, Lycoris Recoil . It ends this weekend with episode 13.

But... But how could he came by himself... and inside the barrier... Oh right, they are connected. Since Rimuru is able to summon Veldora, Veldora might be able to summon himself to Rimuru as well.

So, before I jump into this I did forget to comment on this… what’s Rimuru gonna think when Shuna shows up with an undead army cult following for him that he didn’t even lift a finger to get? 😅 Now that THAT’s done… It’s always a bit of a chore to create a world and then decide how you would like the villains to threaten it. You need to create characters you like, obviously, and you need to create obstacles for them. The mangaka clearly wants to make Clayman as much of a despicable character as possible, because he wants that sort of reaction. The whole bombastic speech thing didn’t bother me, because you know Rimuru is about to drop the other shoe on him. Right before… Shion dropped about 1,000 fists of fury… you’re playing that scene on loop aren’t you. 🙃 But boy Shion and Shuna might be Buddy Buddy but they definitely have different… demeanors. Most of this seems to just be Clayman hoping to turn the banquet into his own ego trip but it’s clearly backfiring on him. Guy said it’s only acceptable to speak with your own words at Walpurgis. It might also be inferred that actions must be taken if your own volition. So… if Rimuru DOES figure out what’s going on with Milim… the slime might not be the only problem Clayman has. Beretta said she was once a Greater Demon, and her conversation with Guy does appear to be geared towards Diablo. Guy even mentioned the “Primordial Black,” which I believe is one of Diablo’s titles. I’m sorry, but if you’re accusing Rimuru about not being a Demon Lord of power and he’s keeping up with Milim all this time, I think some of these people might be missing evidence in front of their face. You’re not wrong about the necklace, but the thing is, we saw the scene where it was put on Milim. None of Rimuru’s party did. WE know what the problem is; they’re still calculating. If Raphael is the only reason you’re not dead by Milim’s hand yet, Rimuru… maybe you should… NOT antagonize her while you’re frustrated? I think if Rimuru called Veldora it was accidental. The last thing he thought before he showed up was “I’m… gonna die!” Of course Veldora isn’t gonna just sit there if he hears THAT. Now I’m picturing Rimuru pulling a Yang from the board game. “Pretty sneaky, Clayman… but you just activated my trap card! EVIL DRAGON!” 😁

Manny

I love Veldora lol he’s such a ham 😆👏

I always wondering since I wacth Naruto when I was a child. How does summoning magic work? What if the summonned one did't will to or doing their business (especially in restroom), what will happen?

kamenriderhime

Hi Spadeas! :) She is for sure! Yeah I think we just got some new folks for the JTF lol. Hahaha Raphael might deny it but she was def sulking! Oh yeah, he should have listened to his own words, because his lies are all falling apart now! OMG!!!!! I never could have imagined anything as beautiful as the flurry of punches he got! Ohhhhhh so Bereta does have something to do with Diablo, got it! I missed the Rouge line, but that's fascinating. Shoot, Rimuru got mixed up in some heavy demon stuff here lol. Good to know there's more info on the way! Oh that anime sounds interesting, thanks for mentioning it!

kamenriderhime

Hahahaha I mean the more the merrier right? :P That's true, it's difficult to angle villains properly. But dang, that scene with the fists of fury will live in my head rent free!! Yeah Shion and Shuna are both bosses but carry it out so differently. Yeah I'm happy to see things backfiring for Clayman. Yeah, we need to figure out the Milim thing fast, because that would definitely tear things apart for Clayman even faster! Gotcha, glad I picked up on the Diablo references correctly. Yeah that's the thing, just him being able to dodge Milim this way should speak volumes. I know, I wish I could just yell loudly enough at the screen so they could hear me about the necklace :P Lol!! Yeah maybe stay on Raphael's good side lol? Oh yeah, Veldora's not gonna let his fellow Tempest die, so perhaps that was an accidental summoning! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA the vibes between this and the epic board game scene from RWBY are totally similar!!!!

To help sell Lycoris Recoil a little more, basically, Lycoris are young girls trained from a young age in the handling of firearms and combat stories to solve problems in Japan before it happens and so preserve the peace. We follow Takina, who following an internal conflict will have to find herself working with Chisato, a legendary lycoris working outside the command center. Emotion, complicity, manipulation, good action scene and humor and top notch voice actors. It's really for me the anime of the season, so even if you don't react to it, I recommend it 100%.

Walpurgis this time was held because Clayman requested it (backed by Milim and Frey). Because of that, Clayman controlled the agenda. It was inevitable that there would be a fight between Rimuru and Clayman, because Clayman and Rimuru were challenging each other to a single seat at the Demon Lord table (literally). There is a reason why Guy let Milim fight, but I can't say yet.... Beretta was in Black's lineage. Demons are "born" -- I don't know where they come from -- as Lesser Demons. They don't have a color. When they become Greater Demons, that's when they take on a color. I don't know if they choose it or it just happens because of their affinity. Black's lineage is small because he doesn't (didn't) take on many underlings, making him, once again, an oddball. As mentioned in this episode, Guy is the Primordial Red. That whole conversation between Beretta and Guy is a great example of how demons think, talking about contradictions in the contract, and how Beretta needs to feel like she served her creator, Rimuru, in gratitude. Guy gets it.... The recording globe Rimuru showed was from Clayman's castle, it was passed to Rimuru through his Stomach via the orcs' similar ability..... Rimuru's Veldora Skill doesn't exactly work by transporting Veldora to Rimuru. Veldora actually ceases to exist where he was and comes into being in the new spot using his memories that Rimuru has stored. Although I don't know why all his power can be recreated anywhere. Notice Milim was able to make him hurt. Not many could do that.... Oh, and the fox Nine Head is a she.

ABHB Ya-iba

Wow, you make a precise guess. And yes, Noir that Guy mentioned is Diavol.

kamenriderhime

Ohhhh right, that makes sense. Thanks for the info on the demon process. Hmmm, that conversation is very telling then. Oh wow, that's a much more intense process than I thought for Veldora!! Oh, sorry about confusing the fox, didn't hear them say she. Yeah Milim can actually hurt Veldora, that's saying something!
