Hey everyone! Here I am with Red vs. Blue, season 10, eps 8 - 10! Wow, the freelancer stuff is just killing it - no pun intended after that big fight scene haha.
Another amazing choreographed battle, complete with Maine getting his revenge and that moment with the robot arm...!! Not to mention Carolina and Tex getting pretty fierce in their mission. And finally, poor CT...!!! So, in a big way, she was in the right, because the Freelancer project was a mess!!! So sad. In present time, we're trying to find some answers??? Meanwhile our Reds and Blues are gettinng pretty nervous about Carolina lol, poor Caboose trying to figure it all out!! Can't wait for more! Great eps! Enjoy! ~ MH

Cant wait to watch when i get home. This has some of my favorite moments

When episode 9 came out, I developed a theory: the Freelancer in the blue ODST armor was actually Caboose. There's a couple things that made me think that. First, he's blue. Second, he's been silent for way too long for him to not be a character we've heard the voice of before. And third, he's wearing ODST armor, which is markedly inferior compared to the Spartan armor everyone else wears. And at this point Caboose's trademark look is the Mark 1 Spartan helmet, despite having dozens of better helmet variations available to him. We know he wears old stuff. I theorized that we were eventually going to see that Caboose's struggles with Omega were actually his second bout with an AI fragment, and the first one was either still in his head, or was the actual Caboose personality that we know today. It's going to be a few more weeks til this particular Freelancer has any lines, but I thought it'd be fun to share what I was guessing when I had the same amount of information as you do now.

Zen Reacts

I always considered the ODST armor to be a statement of them not needing all the extra equipment the rest of the freelancers do cause theyre so much more badass. I mean look at what they did with just that.

Zen Reacts

Sigma actually represents ambition

Kayleigh McRae

I thought the word used for it was creativity. But yeah ambition works too.

Kayleigh McRae

Can't wait for the rest of the season.

Was always pretty sure it was since when the director said ambition it immediately cut to Sigma

Let me fill you in on a little halo lore. The Insurrection is bad, they actively fight against, and want to overthrow the UNSC. In short they are terrorists. So, just because they want to take down Project Freelancer that does not make them the "Good Guys". They are merely the lesser of two evils.

Pinkandahalf

When Wash explains the AI to Church in season 6 he directly says "Sigma was its creativity, Gamma was its deceit"

Jacob Laflamme

That datacard was the same one that CT delivered to the Insurrection Leader at the start of the season, that she stole from Project Freelancer. supposedly, containing enough proof of the Director's misdeeds to be used as leverage for those members of the Insurrection to make a deal with the UNSC military and stay out of prison. The Insurrection mostly died out during the war with the Covenant, as they mostly existed on the outer colonies of humanity that the Covenant wiped out by the end of the war, and some others banded together with the Earth-based UNSC government to fight for humanity's survival. But CT's allies lost a lot of their firsthand proof of the Drirctor's misdeeds when she died, not to mention almost all of them were killed, so the Leader disappeared and that info never came to light...and now Carolina has it.

First off, you’re not even at the halfway point. Second, yes, Theta is trust while Sigma is ambition/creativity. 479er (the pilot) makes a side comment in the first episode when dispatch gives her orders about how she’d hate to have his job. The subtitles tried to clue you in since they added (oh, the irony!). This is because of the fact that you remember that voice that was giving Washington orders in Recovery One? Yep… she ended up getting his job as the dispatch. Do you ever wonder why we’re here? Still at it after ten years and counting! Only this time we got a ship dropped on us… The way Sigma orders Maine around in this episode - it’s almost like he’s Sigma’s pet. Also during f the fight scene there’s two things that made me think of RWBY (which wasn’t a thing yet.) The robot arm remark, and the way Maine dropped that chick and she broke her back on the pavement on the way to her death in the ocean. I think you probably know what I’m talking about. Caboose just stumbles into good lines without any trouble, while Tucker can’t come up with any on his own. But putting Church in a vehicle? Well, this should be interesting, also spy time! Also the line about Carolina being part shark is a reference to when in an earlier season someone asked Church if Tex was half woman, half shark. But mostly Tucker us upset because the only women Church knows are uptight and won’t sleep with him. The laughing gun shooters? Who’s making those noises? None other than Lindsay and Michael (who you know better as the voices of Ruby and Sun.) Also that mysterious silent blue soldier was with Wyoming earlier, and took them all out without a word. Connie might have put things together before anyone else did… but unfortunately the truth didn’t get to anyone willing to listen. Also interesting note that the insurrectionist leader laughs when Tex and Carolina accuse him of being such: “Is THAT what he told you we are?” But it also puts the pieces together about why he was in the desert. And yes, Casey was breaking people’s hearts before that other show started. Texas was willing to take C.T. out immediately with no issue, Carolina was a bit more hesitant and it led to her supposed escape until it didn’t. So imagine the weight she’s carrying now knowing what she didn’t know then. I’ve forgotten more about this series than I care ti admit so buts and pieces come back to me as I rewatch it. The device Carolina is holding has the logo of Project Freelancer on it, that’s all I’ll put out there for now. Excuse me, like Delta, I have to make a backup of myself before this comment drops. 😎

A lot of very fatal deaths here and I'm glad you cheered Theta for his assistance haha 😄 🩸 Is that where the Beacon rocket lockers came from?? I think CTs armor ability was inspiration behind Blake's assemblance. CT made glitched shadow copies of herself. Very cool 🐈‍⬛ Yes Maine body slamming that dude definitely reminded me of Kane. Sigma taking the reigns in the codependency area is unsettling. Last week when the director went off on Carolina it quickly showed her looking at the ranks on the board before storming out. Tex was number 1. It's a fight to see who's the best. It was said the director was very hard on her (bow chicka wow wow) but it's like Tex is the new favorite and Carolina doesn't want that.

2022-12-31 00:14:12 I love these episodes for the awesome moments as well as the emotional moments. These were awesome reactions and it has become even more interesting & fascinating. Once again fantastic food analogy I will never grow tired of you doing that. To be honest in a way I’m jealous of how simple Tucker is being so focused on his hormones LOL. 47niner the pilot is not the best boss. That poor soldier moving the boxes it’s too early for him to be going through this LOL. I’m not afraid of heights but I would not say I like them and I don’t like being in planes so I completely understand why Wash is freaking out. This maneuver to just drop out of the sky is cool but terrifying. I don’t blame Delta for making a backup self-preservation is important after all. And once again we see the freelancers kicking ass but now they are once again up against adversaries more threatening/more equal to them. The way they take out the sniper with the shield is really damn clever. Washington has the worst luck in fights LOL. I like the red and black armor of the people they are fighting. Seeing Sigma egg Maine on is a good way to show that he is in a way manipulating him. Also Sigma using language associated with dogs towards Maine is disturbing like he’s the owner and Maine’s the pet. I love the entire instrumental as soon as Maine shows up but I especially love the guitar riff. If you are a physically strong person and go to punch someone and they immediately overpower you you know you’re fucked LOL. Yeah most of the people working for the insurrectionist leader suffer brutal deaths & even if they are not the “good guys” they didn’t really deserve that. And the choreography continues to get better and better. I agree the robot arm moment while it comes out of nowhere is pretty humorous. Oh yeah & Sigma talking to Delta is creepy considering what happens in the future. Sarge still thinking the Blues are enemies is kind of adorable. Also it’s hilarious that Church & Tucker are kind of like “should… Should we humor him?” LOL. I love the interactions with Wyoming here. As soon as she realized Tex was here Carolina was more than willing to put herself in danger to catch up. The blue freelancer is awesome. The animosity between Carolina and Tex is just increasing. It’s interesting to learn that the insurrectionist leader and Connecticut are romantic interests and her voice acting is incredible. So yeah CT’s plan was to get all the information she collected and her armor to the government/military and hope they would help or at least not punish them as much. The dialogue from Connecticut towards Carolina and Tex hits hard with how right she is. It is so hard to say this objectively but I think the fight against CT is the best one so far mostly because of the choreography involving her holographic duplicates. I am pretty sure those duplicates inspired Monty when he was coming up with Blake’s semblance but I don’t know if that has ever been confirmed. Connie’s death scene is short but emotionally impactful especially with the mournful vocals. The insurrectionist leader lost so much I think he decided to go against the military & freelancer at any cost going down a dark word which eventually led to his death. The thing at the end was a tablet with all the information CT stole & assumedly Carolina hopes to find clues leading to where the Director is hiding. Once again I am so happy that you love and are enjoying this show so much. Awesome reactions. I can’t wait for the next set. Have a great day. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Oh wow, that's quite a theory!!! I love it actually!!! That's a good point about the armor too. I actually love that theory though haha, even if they'll reveal something different in a few weeks!!

kamenriderhime

Oh interesting!!! I can see the ambition aspect too but there was that scene where they said creativity as well! I can see both

kamenriderhime

Oh that's interesting! I watched bits and pieces of gameplay many many years ago but wouldn't have remembered any of that. So we're definitely not dealing with "good guys" - thanks for clarifying!!

kamenriderhime

Yeah for sure! And yay Theta!!! Haha! OMG that's just what I was thinking about the lockers!!! Whoa, that's awesome about Blake's semblance being similar to CT's armor, that's actually a good point! Hahaha omg total Kane vibes!!! It's really unsettling to see Sigma take the reigns right? Ah yeah, there's for sure a lot of competition here with Carolina and Tex. HAHAHA it's getting tougher and tougher not to accidentally stumble upon a Tucker joke!! Yeah I think you're right, Carolina is not having Tex at #1!!!

kamenriderhime

I still have a long way to go which I'm actually happy about!! Thanks for clarifying about Theta and Sigma. OHHHHHHH that's who 479er is, wow!!! Thanks for letting me know! Hahaha I just about died at the famous line! Yeah it's definitely feeling like Sigma's in control. OMG, those are actually two very RWBY reminiscent things, you're so right!!! Ahhhhh I know what you mean!!! Lol that's our Caboose! Yay spy time!! Car Church!! Oh good call about the shark line. WHAAAATTTTT you're kidding, that was Ruby and Sun!?!??!! Omg!!! Yeah I'm curious about the blue soldier, I wasn't sure if I should know them or not?? Yeah poor CT. But yeah, so are they not insurrectionists? Because he sounded like he was saying the Director lied. Casey!!! <33333 Ugh, yes, I can imagine that's a lot of weight that Carolina is carrying. Oooohhh good call about the device having the Project Freelancer logo, I think someone else mentioned that CT took it earlier in the season. Hahahah if only we could back up our Patreon comments that way, the way they're always getting deleted >.< Lol!

kamenriderhime

I'm so happy you enjoyed my reaction, discussion and food analogies haha!! Thank you :D Also yeah there is a nice simplicity about the way Tucker thinks I suppose lol. I totally hear you about heights, that would be super scary! I don't blame Wash a bit! It's not often we see opponents as strong/clever as the Freelancers so this was interesting. Yeah the stuff with Sigma and Maine is really disturbing, he totally treats him like a pet. Poor Wash in battles lol. Omg the guitar riff!!! Yeah the insurrectionists had no idea who they were up against!!! Once Maine enters the chat that's when you know you're done for lol. Hahah Sarge and his Sarge logic! We're totally just appeasing him at this point lol. Yeah that blue Freelancer was interesting! Thanks for clarifying about CT! I know, she's probably the only one seeing clearly about the whole thing here. I've heard the comparisons to the Blake shadow clones and I've gotta say, it would make total sense if these were the inspiration!! The fight scene was amazing, I can totally see how it's your fave! Connie's death surprisingly hit a lot harder than I thought it would, it was so well done with the vocals and whatnot too. Yeah I guess you can't blame the insurrectionist guy for spiraling after that. Thanks about the tablet! I realized it when I was syncing the files lol, and it was too late. Oops! Thank you so much!!!!! I'm loving it so far!!! And I'm so glad you're enjoying my reactions!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all the encouragement and support ^_^
