Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo season 1, episode 14!!!  Here we go with a brand new storyline, woohoo!!!  You guys, I KNEW Santviento / Santana was not really "dead"!!!  I'm sure that'll come back to bite us!  Meanwhile, there's a reason Stroheim mentioned that the person we need to see is someone Speedwagon knows well.........ZEPELI'S GRANDSON?!?!?!  Wow!!!  Caesar is quite the charmer!
And a master of Hamon, it would seem!!!  Guess that answers my "who's gonna be the mentor" question!  But now we've encountered the other Pillar Men, who somehow seem MUCH more threatening than Santana.....great!!!!!!!  Let the bizarre carnage and fighting begin!!!!  :/  Can't wait to see where this is going!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

So the pasta dish Joseph ate here was actually recreated in Binging with Babish. o: And it's not the only dish he made from Jojo... Also.... That Pillar Men theme is the best, isn't it? 🤣 With a theme killing it that hard, you KNOW they're no joke. BTW, Wamu(Or Whamu?) is actually Wham, named after the band Wham!. Kars is also Cars, named after the band The Cars, of course, and YES... There's also AC/DC 🤣 To be honest I feel like this is the one time where most fans(I've seen, anyways) prefer the name changes because they sound like names an ancient tribe would have. Personally I prefer the original names, but I don't mind the changes at the least.

Hi Hime :) Stroheim, that hero. You don't necessarily expect to like a Nazi, but Araki manages to do that. Does the hamon kiss that allows you to manipulate someone remind you of a certain member in Hunter X Hunter, Kurapika's colleague and unfortunately killed by the Phantom Brigade ? With this part and the diversity that he uses for the Hamon, the kiss, the pigeon or the soap bubbles. You can see how Togashi could take it as a reference for Nen. Wamuu is for Wham, the character design evokes George Michael. His VA is Akio Otsuka, known for being the voice of Yujiro Hanma (Baki), Black Jack in many adaptations of Tezuka's work, All For One (MHA), Uvogin and Mizaistom in Hunter X Hunter, Black Beard in One Piece but he will remain, for me, especially Batou in Ghost in the Shell. Kars is for The Cars. He is voiced by Inoue Kazuhiko, known for being the voice of Kakashi (Naruto), the leader of Claw (Mob Psycho 100), but also Ozpin in Ice Queendom. Esidisi is indeed for AC/DC, its look evoking precisely the singer (especially the hairstyle). He is voiced by Keiji Fujiwara, whom you know to be Leorio in HxH. For the Jojo poses, you haven't finished seeing them, it's an integral part of the show. Araki is inspired by ancient statues and fashion to create them. He has also traveled all over the world to really feel the atmosphere of the place before putting them in manga, he has been to Rome several times, it seems to me.

Quick item of business before I start: I think the timing on this video is slightly off. You appear to be reacting to an image that doesn’t show up on the video until a couple seconds later so your reaction footage is ahead of the image capture here, it appears. It’s not terrible but I DID notice it, so letting you know. Now then, when in Rome… we’ll, putting Jojo there is putting a bull in a china shop basically… You’re right about that woman being in the wrong place at the wrong time. In fact, I think if we asked her she’d probably say this whole fight was… for the birds…? Caesar mentioned his grandfather died tragically and you seemed confused but he’s talking about Baron Zeppeli. So Caesar holds Jonathan responsible for his grandfather’s death. That’s why he’s at such odds. Okay there’s a few things you probably shouldn’t say in a show: “As long as this person is under the lights, there’s nothing to worry about.” “I’ve got a girl back home and am getting married next week.” “As long as the Pillar Men are asleep we’re okay.” Have I left out any jinxes here? If you thought Dio was a problem well… meet the source of the problems. Maybe we should start having you start each episode with a weird meter from 1 to 100 and figure out exactly where you think you are on this show as opposed to where you actually are. :) PS: You think you’ll love this up to Wednesday next week so you’ve got something new releasing there, or still debating? Just curious.

Hey Tyler, I'm gonna write back to your comment in full shortly - but I did wanna let you know that I checked and somehow this one was like 4 seconds out of sync :O I'm usually more careful about that, sorry!!! I fixed it and I'm re-exporting it now!!! Also, I think moving it to Weds is a great idea! I would have done it this week but I was behind and filmed later than usual so the timing didn't work out. Again, SO sorry about that!!!!!!

Oof they didn’t start with the guitar, so you know it’s serious. Yeah roundabout is a 8 minute song that parts in there. Idk any other version but maybe there’s a shorter version. RIP to Mark. Didn’t know him but just enough, you knew where it was going but bless his heart. That was hard to watch yet again. This series loves its gore. Lol Esidisi and Wamuu,, these names are killing me. XD I like the pairing of these two it’s entertaining to watch. Im looking forward to whatever they’re going to do.

Oh wow!! That's so cool, I love to see anime dishes brought to life! The Pillar Men theme is pretty amazing!!! They for sure establish that they are not to be messed with with a theme like that. Ohhhhhhh Wham!!! Ok, now I get it haha. LOL AC/DC!!! And the Cars!!! I love it! Interesting about the name changes, I'm good either way, I just love the references!!!

Hi Spadeas! :) That's the thing, I can't get on board with the whole Nazi thing obviously, but this was actually a noble sacrifice! OHHHHHH I do see some similarities with the kiss!! Good call! I can totally see the inspiration for Nen. Ahhh okay that's what Wamu is! Thanks! I can see some George Michael resemblance for sure. Oh wow, what a resume!!! Can't believe he's AFO and Uvogin too! I'm glad I guessed Cars and AC/DC!! WOW it's amazing to see how many of these VAs have done so many different roles!! OMG Leorio!! I love how the visual styles are based on these different names as well. Hahah yay, my first Jojo pose!! I'm sure I'll be seeing them a lot!! Oh wow, I can totally see how all of this suggests that the author has seen the world. Including Rome!

Ok, now I can write back to your whole comment lol! Hahaha good analogy for Jojo's presence here! LOL Yang would be proud!!!! Oh yeah, I don't think I meant to seem confused at that point lol, I understood what he meant. I was just appalled that he'd diss Jonathan that way! I mean at this rate they're just dropping those "famous last words" lines like crazy right! Yikes, never thought we'd be better off with Dio in terms of how bad things are getting lol. Oh, I like the idea of a weird meter!!! And yes, I think the Weds slot is a really good idea actually! I typically film these on Fridays so there's plenty of time to get them out for Weds! (This week I had to film later though)

2022-12-31 00:13:08 I love these episodes and reactions. Joseph trying to befriend someone really dangerous in the most ridiculous way possible is iconic & the voice acting just sells the silliness. Santana sees them as primitive so it makes sense he would just ignore them. And we learn he will attack only if he’s attacked or annoyed enough. It’s interesting to see how Santana & Hamon react to each other. It’s awesome to see Joseph pull off a surprise attack twice with his intelligence and cleverness. It’s disturbing to see all the different attacks/ways of surviving from Santana. Learning there were more of these pillar men was scary seeing how powerful/hard to kill one already was. The hierarchy thing is interesting to learn about. It’s really cool to see the foundation Speedwagon created and how it’s at the forefront of technology compared to other things from that era. Caesar has such a cool design and I like that he is very much the opposite of Joseph. The entire “fight” between them is so weird but I guess the way the creator had them use Hamon is creative. I think them disliking each other as well as Caesar’s feelings are understandable but definitely frustrating. Caesar was harsh but he is thinking about what happened to his grandfather very emotionally. It’s nice to see that he is more caring than he first appears with the Mark character. Once they mentioned that he was going to get married it’s like that thing In fiction when a cop or security guard is one day from retirement. All the death especially Mark’s were horrible but it really shows how these pillar men are even more dangerous than Santana. Yes 2 of them are based on AC/DC & The Cars I believe the other one is based on Wham. Their designs are great and the music might be my favorite piece of music in the show and that’s saying something considering the music I have heard in the show. And yes those would be JoJo poses LOL. The awaken my Masters music is a popular thing in the fandom I have personally listened to it on loop before. It’s weird but interesting to see the dynamics of these guys because even though they need to be stopped and are very violent they are not pure evil just believe themselves above humanity. I love that even with how different Joseph & Caesar are they both are ready to fight when others are hurt. I can’t wait for the next episodes. Awesome reactions & keep up the great work. :-) <3

Thank you!!! So happy to hear it! Lol it's truly iconic! Yeah Santana doesn't even see them as a threat very much. The Hamon interaction was cool! I know, the two-time surprise was impressive! Seeing the attacks was disturbing for sure! As if it wasn't hard enough to get rid of this one, knowing there's other Pillar Men that are higher on the hierarchy is pretty frightening! I loved seeing what Speedwagon had done too, so cutting edge, especially for that time! Caesar's got a unique look for sure! Lol the fight lives up to the bizarre name right. I love the creativity!! I get it about Caesar's perspective for sure! As the audience it's hard to hear someone say that about Jonathan though! Oh no, I know - major death flag for poor Mark! It was brutal and went a long way in showing what we're dealing with here. Ah yes Wham was the only one I couldn't guess! The designs are great and I couldn't agree more about the music! Hahahaa YES Jojo poses!!!! XD They definitely just see humans as bugs or something. Yes Jojo and Caesar at least have that heart and determination in common! Hope you love my next reactions too!!!!
