Hey everyone!  I'm back today with Kamen Rider Geats episode 16!!!  OMG!! What the heck did I say about the game master's next move being to kill Ace?!?!?!  Well, they did a great job with the twists on this one - so proud of Keiwa and Neon for taking charge in their own ways to see this through!!!  I was so thrilled when Girori got taken down, but I have to admit, as bow tie man walked away I thought....okay, what if things just get worse or escalate now?!  And sure enough, we get the REAL PREMISE to this whole entire fiasco - A RIDER REALITY SHOW?!!?!?  Some of you out there called it completely, nice work!!!  But wow, that brings up a lot more questions for me about how this works.  Is Earth real?  Are they on a simulated Earth and not the real one?  How does DGP maintain this control??  SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!  Guess we'll have to wait another few weeks to find out, grrr!!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) In the version I saw, the subtitles were different and talked about a world they created (the DGP), so I actually assume that the world we've seen so far is just a kind of virtual reality or a world outside of reality. So my new theory, which explains the special characteristics of Geats, why he wins since he entered the game and that Mitsume, the mother of Ace, was "removed" from his functions, would be that Ace was born in this world. Imagine if indeed it is a world outside the world, it would explain that the dead do not leave corpses but are just like erased from this reality, with a very digital effect. But maybe Ace is the only real human in this world, born in this one or taken by his mother. Even though I contradict my own theory by saying that the fact that people are virtualized also explains why it is so easy to alter their memory and personality, which Geats shouldn't be sensitive to if he is real. Ah definitely, this series is going to make my skull explode from thinking too much lol. For the newcomer, apparently his name would be Jean, but the interesting fact is that he is played by Fuku Suzuki, known in the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai universe for having played Shotaro Ishinomori in Kamen Rider Saber and in Zenkaiger, Shotaro Ishinomori being the mangaka who created Kamen Rider and the super sentai (as well as many other Japanese superheroes like Cyborg 009, Inazuman or Kikaider). So I don't know if his roles will have anything to do with the one before, but I think we'll have to keep an eye on him.

I'm so glad Tycoon said: "SIKE!"... I was honestly going to be real mad with him if he had went turncoat just like THAT... I wanna be proud that he out-tricked the trickster, but his acting was too good! I'm still a little miffed. 😂 Though I gotta say that shot with him on the rooftop was pretty great, as well as some of the sword clashes... Gives me Ryuki OP vibes. SO. I think I understand why Game Master did what he did, and why he got super aggressive all of the sudden. When Ace made his wish last game, I don't think the GM really thought much of it. Just nothing but another whimsical wish from Ace. Then he saw the *new* wish, to become *staff*. Now before we continue, I'd like to point out that Kamen Rider Glare is STUPID STRONG. Hacking, remote control, and that's not even putting it's raw strength into the mix! He's got so much power, but he can't play the games with them. In fact it's most likely he's only really supposed to use it if the Riders are getting too rowdy or something. Sure he can also use it to his own ends like he has recently, but you see how EASILY it can be taken away from him? Game Master saw Ace's new wish, and I bet he IMMEDITATELY got scared. Maybe a part of it was Game Master not wanting Ace to get too close to the truth, but I bet most of it was because he was REAL scared of losing his job. Because if Ace got a job in the DGP, well... I mean he IS really talented, no doubt he could get a high position. ...In fact, I bet he could've gotten to be game master easily and would've been real good at it too. I'm sure he's worried about the Jyamato growing stronger, however if THAT had been the reason for his actions... Well, he would've just let Ace do what he wanted. Or at least tried to convince him that he's more needed out there as a Kamen Rider rather than working behind the scenes on staff. I bet the Game Master felt powerless... I mean the Jyamato is getting stronger, and despite being in an implied position of power... At best he's an enforcer acting as figurehead and host of these games. It's kind of sad. ...At least it would be if he didn't most certainly killed PunkJack, soo.... 😡

I bet Game Master is a fan of Buffa because he can relate. They're both rash, so short sighted, and power hungry. 🤣 ...Speaking of Buffa, I'd say that: "I KNEW HE WAS GOING TO COME BACK!" but I feel like making that guess is a lot like taking the free space in bingo. 😂 ...So if there's side effects of using Zombie too much, is there other side effects as well for the other Buckles? I mean... Every Rider's arsenal should draw power from the same source as the enemy in one way or another.... What can be the possible connection between Jyamato and Kamen Rider Gear? ...So I'm going to make two guesses with Buffa: 1. That Gardner is going to give Buffa a deal for power, and like how Buffa usually teams up with others... He'll lower himself to actually do it. Of course much like those team ups, I'm HOPING that in the end he'll eventually screw over the Gardner and turn heel. 2. When he does come back, his Rider Helmet will be the one with the Broken horn and crack in it... As seen in the Climax of the Previous DGP. ...So after the reveal of this week, I'll repeat my question from Last Week: WHO'S WATCHING THE DGP?! ...Also I love how the 'cameras' actually look like the front of Kamen Rider Ichigo's Belt. ...Makes me wonder if Shocker is involved. Also I don't want to say anything about the preview, BUT I CERTAINLY HOPE ONE NEW CHARACTER STICKS AROUND. They seem awesome. Also this weekend the US pre-order for Geats stuff is finally being shipped out. ; o; Which is nice, but HOLY CRAP I didn't expect to get so much shipped at once! ...Of course it also comes with the Monster Buckle as well. ...........And the P-P-Punk Jack ID Core... 😭 I just can't believe they did him in so utterly dirty like that!

AND ONE MOOOOORE THING. Why do I have sinking feeling that the remote controlled Rider Pair is ACTUALLY a certain OTHER pair of Riders... Ones that SHOULD have Neon's back since they're her BODYGUARDS. ...I mean I didn't get a good look at the ID Cores of the two Riders in this episode, but I swear one of them had the same colors as one of those ID Cores. Edit: Well I tried to take as close as a look as I could get, and I don't thiiiiink they're the two body guards? The Remote Controller Rider has similar ID core colors, but the icon is a bit differently shaped... At least from what I can tell. But still, you have to wonder.... Who are those two? Like from what happened with Punk Jack, I'd imagine they were former players and not staff(Because remember how Punkjack looked when he teamed up with Mary?)... But do they just *keep* players like that? ...Though I had a worse idea as to who the pair might be... What if they're the two that Buffa wanted to take down?

If they said that the DGP reality show transcends dimensions, does that mean we are "technically" watching real people die or get eliminated in another dimension too?! Are we, the viewers, secretly watching people die for our own entertainment 😱😱😱

Happy New Year, I see you already got the info about the next episode not airing until Jan. 8. Do from this it seems like their format is to take one week off between “seasons”/“arcs.” I’m just going to pat myself on the back here because did I flipping call it with the Truman Show theory last week or did I flipping call it? 😁 I guess you might say… I ACED this test? 😉 There was absolutely no possible way Girori sand his shenanigans were going to go unnoticed by the staff but Keiwa and Neon being sneaky little buggers themselves tells me that they’re learning a few tricks from Ace and putting them to use themselves. That was a clever twist with Neon and her dad, but we still don’t know why or how her presence in the game benefits him. Tsumuri knows something but it seems like there are certain rules Girori’s breaking… and there’s also rules that you aren’t going to break… or else. Whatever this is about Mitsune seems to be in the latter category. The way Girori digitally disappeared was not dissimilar to what occurred with the retired Riders. Speaking of that, this actor playing the Jyamoto Gardener seems like a real life anime character with how crazy he’s acting… Here’s something that caught my attention: now I could be completely wrong but during the final reveal, they showed several people. Neon’s dad, Niramu (the game producer with the bow tie)… but there was also a woman present. Now I admit that it takes me a bit of time to be able to differentiate Japanese people from each other (I need to see them a few times before I can start picking out differences since they have very similar looks/builds usually). But… that wasn’t Ace’s mom… was it? Now I’M going slightly crazy trying to figure out if it is or isn’t. Maybe I’m just seeing things and inventing conspiracy theories. 👀 As far as what you decide to do while Geats is off, it might be a good time to plug the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie in we were talking about earlier? Or something that you’ve been wanting to plug into the schedule like that for a bit? :) Happy New Year! 😁

Happy New Year!!! Yes, I'll be doing a Zero One special to fill in the gap! That's the thing, Girori was never not gonna get caught eventually but I just love that Ace has rubbed off on our other friends! Yeah good point, I'm not sure what his angle is for Neon to be in the game. Yikes, I can't imagine what the secrecy around the info about Ace's mom could mean, but yeah, it's probably bad. OMG I can totally see the real life anime character vibes! Oh, I thought the woman they showed was the one who was always with bow tie guy, who confronted Ace a few episodes ago right before the little girl in the red hat came along? But to be fair, I can't remember at all what Ace's mom looked like since they've only shown her once or twice! Ah yes, I need to get around to the JJK movie eventually! It's always bothered me that I never finished the Zero One saga by missing the Vulcan Valkyrie special, so I'm gonna go with that!!

I mean, that's certainly what they've led us to believe, but are they even in real life? Or are they just getting zapped outside some kind of world simulation?! Either way is pretty intense but....yeah to think people are actually dying for other's entertainment would be really grotesque!!!

Oh I know, Keiwa was clever! Ohhhhh that's such a good point about the game master fearing for his job! Yikes!! That makes total sense actually. That is kinda sad, it still can't undo what he did to PunkJack, but it is sad! Not a bad point about the similarities to Buffa too! Yeah I knew he'd be back but I didn't think it'd be like this! Also interesting that you point out that this could imply that the other buckles have consequences too! I'll be so curious to see where it goes with Buffa, those are solid predictions! OMG if Shocker was involved I'd flip out so hard! Ahhhhh you're about to get such a haul of Geats stuff lol.....that's either great or terrible timing on the PunkJack core!!! :( OHHHHHH the bodyguards, whoa!!! I never even considered that about the remote control Riders! Even if it's not the case, there's still a ton of questions as to who exactly they are for sure. OH NO what if they are the pair Buffa wanted to take down?! So much drama!!!!!!!!!!

I might have guessed, but it all depends on how it played out. Like I wouldn't be surprised if he was decaying or something as the series went on after Buffa's death because that's part of the side effect... Though if he's just alive with currently no strings attached, I'd actually be a little shocked. I just can't wait to see Buffa's next move. Like I am pretty sure if the Gardner offer him Jyamoto power, I don't see any reason for Buffa to refuse it... But Buffa always manages to surprise me whenever I feel like I have him figured out. ...It makes me wonder if he's going to take the Sasuke route(when he went with Orochimaru), or the Bakugou route(when he was kidnapped by the villains). ...I'm just fully expecting those two griefers to come back at any point and cause trouble. Though sometimes I get the feeling that they might just be backstory-only characters.... It doesn't help that their helmets were from other rider shows(from Amazons and Ryuki, it's the Elephant Amazon and Imperer to be specific. ), rather than being made for this show. xD

I hear you. I could see lots of different explanations too! I have a feeling you're right about not refusing the power....definitely getting Sasuke vibes here! Oh that's interesting about the helmets!!! I wouldn't be surprised though, if they did show up again!
