Hey everyone!  I FINALLY got to react to this, and WOW!!!  It looks pretty good!  Ok so in syncing it I noticed the line about them becoming teens, which would explain why they look more like Teen Titans lol.  I had a ton of fun with this and can't wait to see the movie!  I found out it comes out April 25th so mark your calendars!!!!!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I'm more DC than Marvel, so I can assure you that the announcement already had me hyped. The trailer not necessarily, I find that it looks too much like the series and that it is not enough "made for a film", but we will see once the film is released.

As a DC and RWBY fan I'm honestly so hyped for this movie! Plus I read the RWBY x Justice League comics they put out so it will be interesting for me to see what they kept and what they changed! As this specific movie I believe is meant to be a Part 1 situation I wonder what the next part will be like. Also similarly to the Justice League knowing they've been changed into teenagers, the RWBY crew knows somethings been altered about their world too apparently, which explains why Yang has her arm - since if this was meant to be set around V1-early V3 she shouldn't have that yet. Makes me wonder when the movie is meant to be set for our RWBY set of characters or if this is just fun What-if type of sandbox story.

If they could give us a cross over of RWBY and Young Justice...1st season characters from both I might just die. Those 2 animated shows are in my top 3 ever along with Avatar The Last Airbender....if only they could merge all 3

They showed alternate designs for wonder woman and I think this one was ok but the concept they had was way better

So this is actually part of why Volume 9 took so long as I recall, cause along with having to create so many new assets for Volume 9, they were working on this at like the same time.

I'm glad the Justice League somehow landed in Remnant rather than the RWBY girls getting zapped into the DC Universe. It makes me actually want to watch this.

I'm sad this is a direct-to-video movie, was hoping for a Theatrical Release, if only a one-night only Fathom Events type of deal. Oh well, I will be picking this up on physical media to add to the rest of my copious RWBY collection.

So, here’s the little I know: there is indeed a comic book crossover, but I didn’t really think it was all that great of a story. From what this trailer is doing, I think it’s doing a completely different thing than the comics did. Which I am actually in favor of. This feature is WHY Volume 9 has been delayed as long as it has. While RT is an independent company it’s under Warner’s umbrella and they asked for this. As far as I’m aware most of the story writing and animation are being handled by CRWBY so that explains why it looks so much like RWBY - it’s literally the same people. You glossed over this is only Part One. This is not one movie, but TWO. So it’s going to be a lot more drawn out then. Finally, the release date, I believe is exactly one week after the RWBY Volume 9 Finale airs. I’m not saying anything, but I am just saying, since it appears to be a straight to digital release. Of course that makes things easier for you, anyway… I’m not quite as excited about this as I am about the main story coming back… but my curiosity is piqued at least. I’m sure I’ll check it out.😉

Wonder Woman would have loved Pyrrha. I got into Young Justice late. Just recently finished but I have to say I think WW style in that show was somehow way too similar to Pyrrha’s. I could be 100% totally wrong probably am but I think someone was inspired by rwby to revamp the current ww look. That was amazing. 🦇 🦸‍♂️ 🦸‍♀️ 🦸

Yeah, I prefer it taking place in Remnant too! I'd love it if it was a Fathom Events thing, although I'll be watching it at home so I can react anyway lol. Another one for the collection for sure!

Oh okay! Interesting. I'm curious to know what's different from the comics! Ahh okay, I'd seen that in another comment, makes sense. But yeah, I mean this feels like it's all RWBY with JL thrown in, so it makes sense! I did not catch Part 1 as there was a lot going on in the trailer :) But I'm glad to know there's more! Nice, I saw that after, it's cool that we'll have a little pallet cleanser and something to look forward to after Vol 9!!! It will help with the schedule as well! Some more fun content to look forward to, even if it's not main-canon-content!!

Young Justice is the best thing DC has ever put out in animation, which is saying alot because Justice League, Teen Titans, Harley Quin, and all of their animated movies are amazing. Too bad that didn't carry over to their live action movies.
