Hey everyone!  I'm back today with Kamen Rider Geats episode 24!!! While this one was mostly a review ep, we did get some really nice new snippets in there!  For example, Ace's first actual henshin!!!  And a Sponsor Melee at the end!!!  Our frog friend's human form, confirmation that the guy from a few eps ago is Kyunn, etc.  And it was nice to have a review on where we started and everyone's motivations.  I don't know where we're going from here, but I'm along for the ride!  Welcome to the JGP!!!!!!!!!  Can't wait for more!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) I like the fact that "one even desired an offspring to love and cherrish" is said when Neon appears. I, who had established the theory that Neon was perhaps the result of a wish from her parents, that immediately made me tilt. But it can also be taken with Ace's mother, who would have made this wish and the DGP is aware, again making Ace a special case. This series is so good at giving us bread crumbs that it becomes annoying lol. For our supporters, in view of their design I would say that Ziin is human, Beroba is a kind of bull (to pair with Michinaga?), or a demon. Kekera is of course a frog and Kyuun is a sphinx I would say, which corresponds to the mysterious side. Moreover, Kyun is an onomatopoeia that you have probably already seen or heard in anime, it is used when a character (often female) falls in love and Kekera also refers to Kero, the cry of the frog in Japanese. I'll try to search, but I'm sure Beroba's habit of eating jelly beans is also a reference to what she probably is. Edit : After a little research, Kekera comes from Kerakera, an onomatopoeia evoking someone laughing. Beroba comes from Beroberobā, an onomatopoeia involving mockery. Finally Ziin comes from Jïn, which is the onomatopoeia of someone impressed. It's funny to see that the names of these characters were not chosen at random but already indicated their personality. Oh and Kyuun is a chimera, not a sphinx.

Okay so I forgot to bring this up last time with the time traveler reveal, so I'll bring it up now. Does Gazer remind you of Matt Smith's Doctor Who? Because I've been getting that vibe from him since he debut, and I'm starting to think it may not be a coincidence! Honestly this was a good excuse for a clipshow, though I liked how they did this one by presenting it in universe as a Desire Grand Prix Special episode. It also helps that the clips were brief, so it's not taking up a whole episode. ...So Kekera is ACTUALLY a real Toad-Man? ...Or is he just playing around? ...CAN I PLEASE GET A CONFIRMATION ON TOAD-MAN'S *REAL* FORM HERE?! 😂 He continues to be my favorite supporter... ...Meanwhile I'm just scribbling down notes because whoooooooooo booooooy did the Jyamato Grand Prix give me a few ideas for the DGP DnD homebrew I'm making. o: Also...Holy crap that Fighting Game Moment at 24:17. 🤣

“We interrupt this program to bring you a recap because we just did a table flip.” As far as the pronunciations you were asking about, Ziin (Geats’ supporter) seems to be pronounced “zeen.” Beroba’s name emphasizes the second syllable as opppsed to the first (Be-RO-ba). With that out of the way, it isn’t really a big surprise that Kyuun ended up being the mysterious backer, but I get the feeling there are rules in place that prevent certain interactions. Hmmmm… When the broadcast got hijacked, Niram (the producer) didn’t look too worried. In fact, it almost looked like he was smirking. At first glance it seemed like he was thinking, “okay, bring it,” but now that I think about it it could’ve been more unscrupulous… Of course the three Riders were going to go off and help, even though there wasn’t a reward at the end of it for them. They’re basically pulling a Ruby, for lack of a better word. It just occurred to me - because you’re watching this show does that make you a sponsor? You know what, I think you might be getting a little TOO involved now… XD Next I know you’ll be showing up to the next reaction in your own suit, right? Something clicked while you were running your post “rant” in my head. What if the reason Ace can’t approach his mom is because he’s the result of a violation between her and someone from a time period who got involved with her? Given everything else we’ve seen on this show, is it really THAT far fetched to say this is all because someone broke a rule? (Wouldn’t be the FIRST show that trope was ever used in…) Also don’t mind the sponsor battle going on over here, we’re just doing a recreation in Lego Kamen Rider form. Any complaints? :) Wait… does that mean those of us watching the show are the REAL villains behind the plot? Now my head hurts. I need to go lie down.

Hi Spadeas! :) Oh, that's an interesting thought, makes some sense too!! It makes sense with Ace's mom as well. Lol tell me about it, they are great with the bread crumbs!!! Thanks for clearing that up about the different creatures! Ohhhh I do think I've seen references to the onomatopoeia! Good call. Didn't realize the jelly beans were also a reference! So interesting that the names are very intentional! Thanks for the info!

OMG YES!!! That's actually the first thing I thought of him. For a while I just called him Bow Ties are Cool in my head hahaha. It was a good excuse for a clip show, yet it added something too, so that's good! Hahahahahaha I know right?! Like is he a man, a toad, or a toad-man?!!?!?!?! Whoa, that's gonna be one epic campaign you're working on!!! :O Lol wasn't that a great moment?!

Whoa, that's interesting about the producer, he was down to see where it was going. Hahahaha they totally pulled a Ruby!! I can't wait until I can try the DND stuff out... x3 I've already gotten nearly all of the Armed Buckle(Y'know, the lil' buckles. xD) list down so I'm working the kinks out of it. Once I figure out how I'm going to have the Raise Buckles work, making them should be a snap. o: I'll say this though... If Beroba isn't Girori's daughter, then imma be taking this dropped ball and running with it in my campaign. xD ...Though I'm using original characters for all my NPCs... So I'm not going to just make them simply 'Girori and Beroba, only with legally distinct names'. xD I just can't wait to get to the first *TRUE* boss of the campaign. I can't tell you what he can do, but I CAN tell you about my plans for him since he's an OC. :D He's like Buffa in which he'll be willing to do anything to get his wish, however this Boss is merely trying wish his wife back to life. I'll first use him as one of the NPCs made to help the players out in battle, have them build a rapport and hopefully I can get the players to like him... However the boss been at this game for too long. He WANTS his wish, and at this point might not mind taking a shortcut to get there... But eventually he gets kicked out of the DGP because he was attempting to cheat the system. That way it'd be much more dramatic when he shows up later. ;D ...I can't tell you more about the stuff he does in battle, because I am basing this event off the Geats/Revice movie. xD Only the Geats portion of it though.. The OC is based off one of the villains, but let's just say his motivations are a lot more pure and wholesome than it actually is in the movie. xD That way if the players want to try talking him into a Heel-Face turn, they could actually have a chance at convincing the boss into giving up. o: ...Of course they'd have to end up fighting the secret boss, but it'll be fun because the Players will have support from the normal boss during the fight.

That's awesome!!! What a great idea too, the beauty of writing your own story for the campaign is that you can take any imaginative theories, whether or not they panned out, and incorporate them!!! Your first boss sounds like a great character!! I love the idea of a dramatic comeback! I hope I get to see the Geats/Revice movie one day so I can hear the rest! Also a great idea putting the optional heel/face crossroads in front of your players and letting them decide! There's nothing more satisfying than a boss-face-turn when you're facing another boss!!! Good luck with the campaign!!!
