Hey everyone!  Here I am with Red vs. Blue, season 12, eps 14 - 16!  Whoa, so much going on in this one, from Freckles the accidental spy to Tucker and Church talking things out!  Also, remind me to never EVER make Dr. Grey mad, wow!!!!!!!!!!  I'll never hear opera the same ever again!  :P  So we're making a little progress, but there's still TONS of questions about who exactly Control is and what they're up to....can't wait to know more!  For now, it sounds like we have some kind of deal laid out before us.  No way is our crew gonna trust anything from Felix again!!  .....Right????  Great eps!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

There’s actually three seasons in the Chorus Trilogy, 11-13, and you’re pretty much hitting the end of the second arc. Alright, first - now you know why there was so much behind the screen laughter going on in the first half of the season… we know what you know now. So let me point out something ironic - Jaune and Ruby’s VA’s are having a conversation but you’d feel a LOT different about this dialogue if these were their RWBY characters. Instead Miles has made the s end as slimy as possible on purpose. Tucker interrupting Church during their data retrieval mission is his direct reaction to what happened earlier in the season - he called an audible and it ended up with two people on his team dead, and he didn’t want to make that mistake again. Washington clearly wasn’t thinking straight when he took the disk from Locus, as Carolina points out - but cut the guy a little slack he’s been on edge for a while. Carolina is still suffering from her leg injury. When she went to help Caboose she strained it too much. Memory refresh: Felix stabbed through her leg when he did his whole Bond villain turncoat monologue a few episodes ago. She’s still dealing with the repercussions. Tucker is having a lot of doubts about his decision making but when he was having that conversation with Washington about decisions and their results I couldn’t help but think of another character in the RoosterVerse currently dealing with similar problems… O’Malley was silly scary. The Director was serious scary. Felix and Locus are deadly scary. But nothing is more terrifying than watching Emily “whistle while she works.” “Let me just go put him back together.” 😳 According to the soldier, Control has invested a lot of time, effort and money into this farce. There are subtle clues that have been dropped up until now pointing in their direction but I’m not gonna tell you, you’re gonna have to think! 😁 Caboose giving an inspirational speech just telling everyone to shut up with the music track is hilarious. Also Church and Tucker aren’t wrong - most of us guys don’t wear emotions on our sleeves, we rip the bandaid off and move on with our lives when the situation calls for it. Now, who’s getting their checkup next? 👀

Aw well I’m so glad Church and Tucker finally got to confront the issue. I kept on guessing if they were cool or not. If there were any hard feelings still being held so this was fine to see. And kudos to you Caboose for telling it like it is. Amazing it takes Caboose to set things straight for his team

2023-03-16 03:27:14 These are great episodes & your reactions were good as I expected. It has been said before but I agree balance between serious and shenanigans is a good way to describe this season. It is infuriating to watch Felix lying through his teeth and just stoking the fire while talking to Kimball. Miles does such a good job as Felix playing this false role. Using their grief against them is so messed up. His last line here being the truth within the lies works really well. Watching week to week and not knowing what this giant tower was really hard having to wait. The enemy finding them was a really tense situation because of how Church was talking and Tucker freaking out. It was a mistake to not wait but I want to remind you that the last time Tucker was in a situation like this he did wait for the file transfer to complete he ended up getting 2 soldiers killed so it was unfortunate he did this here but it makes sense. Caboose being excited about his life flashing before his eyes is amazing. Yeah what happens here is that Carolina’s leg was recently stitched up & Dr. Grey did tell her not to strain it which is what happens here when she goes to save him. It’s nice to see her instantly go to save him I agree. I like how episode 14 ends by focusing on Tucker listening to everyone reacting to what’s going on. I love the conversation between Wash & Tucker about mistakes and learning from them. Episode 15 seems to be all about frustration. Carolina’s rage is honestly hilarious especially the comparison to her mother. I like getting more depth with Dr. Grey’s anger at these guys killing her friends. The opera torture scene is the scariest but funniest thing in this show probably at least in this season. Her cheery attitude while talking about disturbing things is kind of the best. Also the dad joke LOL. You saying that she is terrifyingly wonderful is the perfect way to describe her. Nice job from voice actor Arryn making a great cheerful but psycho voice. It sounds like a lot of the information on the enemies side is kept compartmentalized and secret. It also sounds like the guy behind all this won’t give up or stop easily. Of course Locus would plant a tracking device by appealing to Wash’s kindness. I’m glad the problem with freckles was solved easily. These issues between Church & Tucker were inevitable with it building up for a while on Tucker side of things. I love Caboose’s amazing inspirational speech especially being harsh which is very rare. It might be a simplistic view but he is someone who can show how simple things like this often are. I like how Church & Tucker hash things out with acceptance and even if they would not say it out loud apologies. I’m sorry Carolina most of the guys you have become attached to are not good with emotions LOL. And then there is a crazy cliffhanger for you sorry. Why is Felix’s mocking tone so good? I can’t wait to see your reactions to the final batch. If you haven’t gotten it yet can you ask if the contact redux song is also going to be included for your reactions although I’m not sure if it actually counts as part of season 12. Awesome reaction & discussion. :-) <3

Wow, good to know! Omg now I get it, I'm sure it was quite entertaining to see me go through the motions! OMG I never even thought about it, that this is Jaune and Ruby, lol. Miles really turned up the ickiness for that dialogue! Ohhh good call about Tucker's interruption. Yeah I mean Wash has been through a lot!!! I agree, there seems to be a lot of self doubt going on in the RoosterVerse right now....! Hahahha I agree, we've seen scary, but we've never seen anything quite like Emily's brand of scary!!!!! Yikes!! Hmmmm, subtle clues eh??? I'll have to dwell on it! LOL I loved Caboose's speech! A little tough love goes a long way :P OMG, imagine if Dr. Grey was your primary care physician..... o.O

Yay, thank you! I know, Felix is just pressing all the buttons here, ugh! And yeah, that last line was actually the most truthful thing said in that whole discussion. Great point about Tucker, he has a lot of reason to feel how he feels now. Oh gotcha, thanks for clearing that up about the leg! Wash and Tucker's heart to heart was good. LOL Carolina's a chip off the old block I guess! Hahahaha everything about that scene is so messed up and hilarious at the same time! And the dad joke was really the cherry on top lol. I'm glad you like my description of her! Arryn did an amazing job and it just blows my mind how different she sounds from Blake! Ugh, I can't believe I didn't think of the tracking device, but it makes sense! I can't imagine who's behind this, but I can't wait to learn more. Me too, I'd hate it if we lost Freckles! Caboose's pep talk was everything haha. Sometimes you've gotta leave it to someone like Caboose to save the day! I'm glad Church and Tucker talked too. LOL yeah I guess Carolina happens to be around some guys who aren't great at opening up! The cliffhanger, ahhh!! Oh yes, I can double check that! I saw some other mentions of songs too, I just can't remember off the top of my head if they're on my playlist or not! Thanks! And thanks for being so awesome and supportive!!! ^_^

These episodes are great and I always enjoy seeing your reactions. Even though they're both completely twisted and kinda evil, Felix and Locus are two of my favorite characters in the series. The way they play off of each other is great, with Locus being no-nonsense while Felix loves to talk. Dr. Grey is such a great character to introduce so late in the show. The way she bounces off the group is hilarious, and their reaction to her manic cheerfulness is just as great! I really like the conversation between Wash and Tucker. You almost never get to see a situation where Tucker is the one being serious and Wash is the one cracking jokes. Other people have pointed out how Tucker pulled out early (bow chicka bow wow) because of his previous mistake on his first mission - but I understand his frustration with Wash's advice to 'learn from your mistakes and try to do better', since that's what he did. You really feel that when he says, "that's what I was trying to do!" I love that we're getting some real character growth from Tucker. It's honestly about time! And Caboose too! He definitely has his moments, and that speech was one of the best. He said exactly what Tucker needed to hear, in a way that only his endearingly naive and childish mind knew how. Now we have a civil war to stop before everyone kills each other, and we still have to figure out who 'Control' is. Such a great ride!

Aww thank you, I'm happy to hear that! I can see how they're great characters! Dr. Grey is amazing! I couldn't agree more about the character growth in Tucker. It's been really well done and the scene with Wash was great. Hahaha yes Caboose!!! The speech :D It's a wild ride for sure!!!!
