Hey everyone!  I'm back today with Kamen Rider Geats episode 29!!!  OMG!!!!!!!!!
Good thing that whole kidnapping thing was fresh in my mind for this....good lord, what an awful way for Neon to spend her bday!  She's still Neon!!!  But wow, this explains a lot about her family situation.  Also, Ace CLEARLY cares an awful lot for his friends, DO NOT MESS WITH PEOPLE THAT ACE CARES ABOUT!!!  Am I alone in thinking that the anger scenes were just a bit on the hot side lol?!  Poor Neon though....Kyuun, if ever there was a time to be decent to her, it's now!  This got super dark guys, what a reveal!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

By far the darkest episode of Geats so far, the fact that we see A FRICKEN BLANKET COVERED BODY IN THIS EPISODE! Beroba is one sick b**ch! Even Buffa has standards for making people suffer, and more importantly.....ACE WAS PISSED AS F**K! Never, and I mean NEVER make the cool, calm, collective, "knows what he's doing" guy, THIS PISSED OFF. Ace had 0 f*cks to give this fight. "You hurt her.....I hurt back harder." Is Ace's mentality right there. On the lighter end, seems were gonna be having a bit of a "love square" if u will with the fandom ships, will it be "Kei-On", "Ace-On" or "Kyu-On" the game master sure seems to be leaning towards "Ace-On" it seems xD also Kyuun is literally just a TSUNDERE! Such a sweetheart in the notes but a dumb jacka$$ irl xD Literal definition of a Tsundere.

RIGHT?! I'm like I know Kamen Rider isn't afraid to get their hands dirty when needed but JEEZ!!!! Beroba is the worst! Yeah even Buffa was kinda looking at her like, you're crazy lol. I know, Ace was MAD!!! I can definitely see some ships developing! Kyuun is absolutely the definition of tsundere!!! Man, can't wait to see where things go from here!

Hi Hime :) When I saw her father put the flowers at the place of the kidnapping, I immediately thought like you. But now that we know that, some elements take on another meaning: Her mother treating her like one of her dolls Neon becoming a zombie during one of the games Neon/NaaGo being a cat known for its nine lives. Even Kyuun being a chimera can refer to the fact that Neon is not "real". By the way, Akari, the first name of the Kurama's daughter, from whom Neon took the place, means bright or luminous, so Neon is somehow a derivative of Akari. It makes you want to see the old episodes again and try to see the clues that the authors left about other characters. Because Michinaga who is obsessed with his goal like a bull with red, who came back to life because he uses the zombie buckle, makes sense. Sae, who was a "lone wolf" but did it to protect her loved ones like a mother wolf, makes sense too. Ace which is a fox, the symbol of the goddess Inari, who often changes appearance, protective but sometimes evil, link between men and gods, it makes sense with what we know of Ace. Keiwa is a Tanuki, a symbol of luck and a mischievous and happy animal, he often plays tricks with his transformation ability, it's on this point that I wonder if Keiwa isn't hiding something. The fact that his sponsor is a frog also plays a role, the frog being for the Japanese a symbol of return, as Keiwa returned to the DGP after his elimination. But in general, cat, fox and tanuki are the three animals symbols of good fortune, funny that they are our three main protagonists. But for the end, yes, angry Ace had an effect on me too, I got chills. I don't necessarily ship him with Neon compared to Chirami (who was quickly hit on by Tsumuri for thinking that by the way lol), but clearly, Ace considers Neon and Keiwa as close friends, I don't know if he had other friends in his other lives, but if so, that would also explain his tendency to not trust quickly and try to push others away by appearing untrustworthy. But clearly, getting that anger right without a word or seeing the person's face is good acting for the person in the costume and good directing.

Remember, Kyuun wish for Neon to be happy. He won't just stay there doing nothing for sure! Like how Shotaro never abandon his client. It's time for the "Joker". And actually, I think the sub is somehow wrong. Neon's birthday is actually 1st of April, the April Fool Day. Also, this is not related, but this is not the first time Geats imply the death of young children. Remember the girl who stole the Riders' driver when PunkJack is still around? She's a Jamato, but why is she able to assume a human form? That's because the original one died as the player of DGP and got her ID core feed to them. Fun Fact: The deceased daughter of Kurama, Akari's name meaning light. And we all know what Neon meaning is...

I also heard something before. About the main cast who are the player of DGP are all themed after Japanese mythical creature. Geats and Tycoon are Kitsune (Fox) and Tanuki (Racoon Dog), both are symbolized as the liar who fool people. I don't know about Cat, but Buffa is the Gyuki, some other dangerous Yokai based on a bull. PunkJank is from western myth though, but Nudge-Sparrow and Lopo also get some motif. Nudge-Sparrow was based on some Yokai that will blind you sight when you walk in the forest alone, and Lopo is based on the Yokai Wolf who will follow you quietly while you're blinded. The wolf will immediatelt kill and eat you if you tip and fall, but while the wolf is following you, no other dangerous Yokai will do any harm to you, it's as if the wolf is protecting you. And if you successfully come out of the forest and leave something as thanks, the wolf will leave quietly.

I didn't know all these stories, but that of the wolf corresponds to what we saw of Sae with Neon. I just searched for the cat, there are the legends of the Bakeneko, attributing to them transformation powers (like the tanuki and the fox), to like to dance, to be able to throw fireballs, but also for some, to take the appearance of their master until they completely replace them. Which is pretty much what happened with Neon. I think the authors have planned well for Japanese viewers to recognize certain legends through the series.

You know, somehow this didn’t occur to me but as you were talking about Geats earlier it occurred to me that him and Ozpin might have an interesting conversation. ;D First there’s like a sad irony that Neon’s birthday is on April Fools Day, considering the bombshell that’s dropped in this episode. I do think Chirami’s little ship balloon is another case of him being out of touch, because he seems to get the wrong impression a lot in the series. It’s kinda neat how Keiwa’s so worried over shopping for something and Ace is like, eh, she’s got everything already. Michinaga is not thrilled that his game is being usurped by Beroba’s plotting and scheming, I wonder if there will be any repercussions for that later? The fact that Neon is a wish explains a lot - but it DID get me thinking… could this ALSO be a reason why Kyuun is so salty towards her? Is it possible he was friends (or possibly, something more) with the original daughter and that’s why he’s treating her with such disdain? It might be a bit of a reach but it doesn’t seem completely implausible, given the dad is a DGP Sponsor because of this event too. Honestly, I think Ace would’ve had the same reaction if it was Neon or Keiwa getting dragged through the mud. He might be a crafty little Fox, but I think he understands their value as friends though, and sometimes is done to someone else is going to be a lot worse than anything they can do to you personally. I think Ace took it personally because he couldn’t do anything about it directly. I don’t think the presents were actually talking but all the viewing cameras in her station were basically um, for lack of a better word… YouTube comments? You know. 😬 This causes a bit of a problem though. Keiwa has already lost. I think we all assume Ace will win his round. But they have to win 2 out of 3 or the Kamen Riders are eliminated… Naago is going to have to face Michinaga now. And in her current mindset… that’s not exactly good odds, folks! Hopefully SOMEONE can get her mind to refocus because no one else can help her in the fight either. This whole “is she a real person” kind of reminds me of the whole philosophical argument we had going on during the main subject matter of Zero One, doesn’t it? What is real and what isn’t? Especially after you found out your entire existence was an artificial one? I guess the therapy session will have to wait though, because the existence of the Kamen Riders is going to come down to whether or not she can beat the person I’ve personally dubbing Evil Bakugo for a while now. This arc isn’t anywhere close to ending yet!

"Your effort means nothing, Geats." Then why you sweatin' bullets, Bebora? 😁 I've never seen a Rider be so ruthless without being evil, under control of evil, of completely out of control. If I was Beroba, I'd be taking this VERY seriously because we all know how Laser Boost vs Glare 2 went. And Ace was pretty much just having a little test drive at the time. Now he's *ANGRY*.

Hi Spadeas! :) Yeah the flowers were a big hint. WOW, it really does make so much from the past add up! That's interesting about what they could be telling us about other characters too. That's so interesting about the different myths and lore, wow!!! Angry Ace was really something! That's the thing, whether it's a ship or not, they're all very close. The suit actor did a great job conveying that aggression for sure! Can't wait for the next ep!!!

Yeah Michinaga did not seem pleased. Oh, it could have something to do with Kyuun's behavior, I hadn't thought of that. That's the thing, I think he just values both of them as close friends, but he values them a LOT!!! Do not mess with them! Ohhh gotcha, so those were just mean comments, not the stuffed animals talking....still sad, but there was something extra sad about it being the stuffed animals lol. Oof, I'm so sad for Neon having to fight now, in this condition!!! I can definitely see how this relates to the argument on Zero One, too!! I hope her friends can help her center herself before she has to fight. Evil Bakugo LOL!!!! It works so well, omg!!! I'm rooting for her!!!
