Hey everyone!  I'm back today with Kamen Rider Geats episode 31!!!  WHOA!!!!!!!!
And here I thought that last week was supposed to be the reveal....!!!  Finding out Ace's mom was the goddess was not that shocking, but HOW THE GODDESS POWERS WORK......wow!!!  That I was not prepared for!  So Ace's very existence means the sacrifice and suffering of others?!?!!?  That's dark!!!!  Yikes!!  I'm not sure how any of them are gonna handle this...but wow, I just did not see that coming.
Here I thought maybe Michinaga would join up with Ace, but if everyone blames Ace in a way for what's going on, then.....!!!  Dang!!!!  What next?!?!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) What's irritating is that Michi, Beroba, and Nadge act exactly like the DGP, giving only part of the truth while pretending they're better. Because as you repeat quite well, Mitsume was forced to become the godess, it's not as if she had chosen this role. As for what happened, in my opinion, Mitsume is from the future, she is a navigator after all, but she very well could have fallen in love with a rider at the time and ended up having his child. Well if I listened to myself, I would go even further in the tragic and dark, saying that Ace would be the reincarnation of the rider she loved but who tragically died at the time, she would have absorbed her happiness to do it reborn, but without enough power, only carrying him like a child was possible. The question now, could Tsumuri be capable of the same? She is the current navigator and if falling in love is the trigger, Tsumuri shows herself to be more and more human and attached to this world as well as her riders. So anything is possible.

So during your opening rant I started to get confused and I couldn’t figure out why… and then it suddenly dawned on me, and I started laughing. All the stuff you were currently saying about Neon finding a purpose, and needing to realize she has people there for her… well, there’s ANOTHER character whose name is four letters on ANOTHER show you are currently reacting to and I just realized you could plug and play for either of them. Seriously, it’s uncanny how close some of the thematic material is the past few weeks. Regarding the episode itself, let me just say this up front - anytime you begin a sentence with “Is Michinaga going to be a jerk…”, YES. The answer is always yes. Let’s move on. 😂 So the first thing to ask is if Mitsume is the Goddess, she didn’t START like that. Where did her power initially come from and what did she do to create Ace this way? It almost seemed like her becoming the Goddess was a price she had to pay for doing it, almost. Also future and past people are physiologically different, so it can’t have been something minor that she used. Anyway, obviously the big bomb drop was the JGP revealing how the Goddess works… but do they have the entire picture and are just sharing parts of it? Or is there parts of the story we aren’t seeing? The heaven-and-hell game is disturbing on a couple of levels: first, it’s a mirror up real life, people either survive or they don’t, and a lot of how they function is based on circumstances. For example: You landed on a spot where you became a reactor, it works out for you (and you’re good at it! 😁). Someone else might not be so lucky as to find a niche, and end up doing something that makes them miserable but they need to do it to survive. Then there’s the whole aspect where people will sacrifice the happiness of others for their own, and I don’t even NEED to open that can of worms to show you how many times that example has taken place in the real world. You can probably think of multiple examples by the time you finish this paragraph. I think after Ace was confronted with the truth, it was equal parts stunned and confused. Think about how many times he’s won the DGP and how much happiness he’s unknowingly taken from others. The realization probably hit him like a ton of bricks. Keiwa was lashing out at him, too, I don’t think it was malicious, but he’s also trying to make sense of things: his family didn’t have a lot, but they had enough of their own happiness to get by. Now I’m wondering if the reason Beroba is so hell bent on people’s misery is because happiness is what’s fueling the DGP…? 🤔 There’s a lot but that’s just kind of my random thoughts… also you’re starting to get into the whole red string level at the end of this episode with theorizing, hey, this isn’t AoT! And finally, I’ve been sitting on this one…. I’m going to use this line because it refers to SEVERAL recent developments in SEVERAL shows… WILL PEOPLE STOP FALLING INTO STRANGE PLACES AND DISAPPEARING MYSTERIOUSLY ALREADY AS IF THEY’RE GONE FROM EXISTENCE? …If you know, you know. 👀 We’re only in the thirties, right? Almost afraid to ask what’s coming next… 😂

Hi Spadeas! :) That's so true. She was forced, that's important to keep in mind. Oooohh that's even more tragic!!! I never thought about if this is a power that another navigator would have, interesting. She's definitely caring about the world. Hmm!!! Guess we'll find out!

Hahaha omg what is it with my shows having similar themes....!!! LOL there's always a consistent answer to that question I guess :P That's a good point, was she just born with that power, or did she have to "earn" / sacrifice for it somehow? That's the thing, there could be way more to this story. Oh yeah, there's countless examples of trading another's happiness for one's own in the real world, sadly. Poor Ace! I hear you, I think Keiwa was just in shock. Oooohhhh now there's a theory....Beroba might actually be trying to counteract the happiness with misery??? Hahahaha I treat everything like AoT now, I'm that Charlie meme with the string :P OMG seriously, everyone STOP FALLING!!! :P I know, oh I know. Yeah we still have like a few months left of this show so God help us I guess!!!!!
