Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo season 2, episode 31!!!  OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!  The comedy just gets weirder and weirder in this one haha, I'm thinking of one particular scene that's gonna live rent free in my head forever....you know the one :P  WOW guys, we just got 2x sillier with the involvement of Avdol here, but this is still a pretty clever crew we're dealing with, so I wasn't surprised when they found a way around Mariah's powers.  Better yet, they used her own powers against her!  Once again, we have crew members who have zero clue what just happened, which is becoming a pretty great running joke!  But I wonder if it will be up to Jojo and Polnareff to deal with our next Stand user....!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I know the subtitle says "retired", but as far as I'm concerned... Yeah, she's dead. 🤣 Though there's a spin off manga(taking place after Stardust Crusaders) where she shows up for a chapter not only MIRACULOUSLY making a full recovery, but she got married to one of Dio's henchmen! I'll let you guess who, but here's my clue for you: He has yet to show up!

Hi Hime :) Mariah is indeed for Mariah Carey, well done for this one. Joseph is such a drama queen. Whether it's his "Oh my god" and "Oh no", the escalator scene or THE famous scene, I think Joseph attracts more people to being a drama queen than the situation itself lol. Bastet seems pretty weak to start with, but it's the way Mariah uses him that makes him dangerous. Whether it's trapping them with the train tracks or even the nuts and screws, keeping her distance without being too far away, you can see she's used to using it and using it the right way. It's just the experience she lacked. This double episode is surely one of the funniest of the whole series and there is no fan of jojo who does not have a certain love for this fight. And if it can reassure you, you will still have other moments in future seasons that could end up in the "suddenlygay" reddit lol. For the next double episode, it's going to be a roller coaster, you will surely be worried, maybe a little disturbed, but also moved I think. I would just say that in this double episode, Polnareff will be shining.

I forgot to mention this last episode but… is Jojo better (or worse?) if you can see things coming (like the nails…?) or if it’s going to be a surprise? 🤔 I’m, uh… unusually at a loss for words particularly after that one scene… I could spend some time trying to analyze this episode but I’m too busy laughing to the point of crying to care at this point. There were two things that crossed my mind: one was, hoo boy, thank goodness this wasn’t a RWBY episode because I already know the memes would be downright frightening… and second, I was wondering if we just needed to be playing “Stuck on You” by Elvis Presley during the entire sequence. “Is this an active railroad…?” Me: “Come on, you’re really asking that question?” But it does say something about Avdol that he’s worried about other people’s lives as well as saving his own skin. Seems like there’s a method to the madness, the villain almost gets the upper hand and then starts to monologue about their victory… I wonder if the mangaka is a James Bond fan? Wouldn’t put that reference past them. You know, all these guys wanted to do was find a spot for breakfast and now we got two stand users to deal with. Also… Mariah was nuts. I mean, she literally fired them. You know what, now this whole comment has gone off the rails… I’d better stop now, just like this episode, I’m losing it… 😂

I love seeing reactions from people who are new to the Jojo fandom and their reaction to these two episodes. It's always so funny to watch. I'm so happy that you love Joseph as much as I do. Next to the Jojo in Part 5, he is my favorite. Joseph has such a wonderful personality and also stands out the most as a character next to Dio and Stroheim. I just bought a xxl poster of him and Ceasar at a manga exhibition this weekend. As a huge Jojo fangirl, I just couldn't resist🥰. As you mentioned, that doesn't mean I don't like Jonathan and Jotaro. Unfortunately, Jonathan didn't have that many episodes where you could get to know him as a character, but I still love and respect him a lot. He's just a huge lovable teddy bear and next to Speedwagon the best gentleman in the Jojo universe. He deserved a better ending! Jotaro, on the other hand, had a hard time getting liked by me. I wasn't quite sure what to think of him until the Lovers episodes. From then on, I realized that Jotaro really wants to be a bad boy, but inside he's still the same sweet boy that Holly described so often. He is very worried about his comrades and Joseph, but doesn't want to show it. I noticed that Jotaro always pulls his hat over his face when he wants to hide his feelings, otherwise you could read them in his eyes. Now I really like him as a character but I still love Polnareff and Kakyoin more. Be prepared for the next two episodes. They will be gross, creepy and a little bit "childish". Till next time☺️

Woah awesome and painful conclusion 😳 They rocked it. When I saw Jotaro I was thinking he was going to save the day but I’m glad he didn’t. I felt after much humiliation, Avdol and Joseph needed to take down Mariah for the sake of their dignity. And I loved that’s line, “strategically retreated but never abandoned,” so funny yet very true. He’s never been known to not finish a job. And she’s right Joseph is a charmer. He’s holding out at the end there. Kind of giving her chances to call off the attack but know she’s just forced his hand. Harsh conclusion but that was a much harder stand then I initially anticipated. Love a Joseph episode. Both Avdol and him killed it here!

Yup!!! :/ Yeah I'm kinda glad they handled this one on their own! Their dignity was on the line lol. Hahahahaha omg I loved that line too, and it is true actually! Joseph is quite the charmer! Yeah that Stand was no joke, ironically lol. I absolutely loved this team up!!! It was great to get some focus on them!!

Hi Spadeas! :) Yay, I got it! Omg I know!! I love it! So many great scenes of Joseph being over the top :P That's the thing, it's all how you use it! But experience is key as well. Oh my gosh, this was definitely the funniest to date!! Hahaha wow sounds like a lot to look forward to! The next few eps sound interesting too, can't wait!!

I mean....that's a good question lol. Hahahaha I hear you, I'm still laughing about it days later! OMG, I can't even picture the RWBY equivalent. I would have died if they'd played "Stuck on You" as the impromptu ending theme for this one :P I guess that was a silly question in retrospect lol. Oh I wouldn't be surprised if there was some James Bond influence. HAHAHAHA Yang joke overload, oh my Gooooodd!!! :P I really hope they can get some breakfast soon!

Hey, you're so welcome and thank you for watching with me! These were great eps for sure! I adore Joseph! I can definitely see how he stands out! Oh my gosh, that's awesome about the poster and I hope you had fun at the manga show! You know what's funny? I just went to a comic book shop this weekend and found a poster of Joseph and Caesar that I almost bought! :O I hear you completely about other Jojos, too. I wish Jonathan had gotten more time and a happier ending as well! I understand about Jotaro too, it took me a while to warm up to him too, in fact it was probably the Lovers eps that were a big turning point! That's so true that inside he's still that same sweet boy. That's a great point about how he hides his feelings, even physically with the hat. It's hard to beat Polnareff and Kakyoin for sure! Oh wow, sounds like a lot to look forward to haha!! Thanks!!

That was a bit stressful, because sometimes you couldn't get to the shops because people were barricading the way. But otherwise it was a cool experience. I cosplayed my favorite villian from Jojo (definitely not Dio🤣). But this one hasn't appeared yet (Part 5). I first wanted to cosplay Kars, but then it was a bit too risky for me (Pillarmen don't wear a lot of clothes)🫣. When you're done with Jojo you definitely need a poster with all Jojo and Villians. I have a very good one hanging in my room and can recommend it to you when the right time comes.🥰

More silliness! Haha some of the most memeable moments of Jojo’s come from this episode. Namely Joseph and Abdul getting caught in questionable positions ☠️ which is just comedy gold! And you were absolutely right, Mariah was a reference to Mariah Carey :) This is definitely a nice way to ease into the next set of episodes. They’re definitely bizarre, borderline unsettling at times. But I still think you’ll enjoy them!
