Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to Demon Slayer season 3, episode 11!!!  WHHHHHAAAAAAATTTT!!!!  I was freaking DYING during the first part of this!!!
First off, I think Tanjiro going in for the killing blow was so gorgeously done!  Second, WHY IN THE WORLD DID THEY THINK THEY COULD TAKE AWAY MY NEZUKO?!!?!?  You guys, after a straight 2 weeks of nothing but death scenes in other shows, my mind just could not process this.  However, I never, EVER expected her to conquer sunlight, whoa!!!  This is gonna place a big old target on her forehead sadly, but at least we got a flashback of Kibutsuji's backstory at the same time!  For now, it's a total victory for our friends, who all made it through safely thanks to Tanjiro and each other!  What a great ep and great season!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

So overall I felt this season’s storyline was a bit more basic, as it seems like we spent most of it just drawing out fights with the demons. There’s some character introduction and development of course, but it felt like a prolonged fight scene to me - although this final episode certainly dropped a lot more plot material on us. I was told there was a lot of lore in the manga they dropped, but I haven’t read it - just what I heard. Normally the demon flashbacks have tragedy attached but both Upper Four and Kibutsuji were revealed to be - yeah, they were always scumbags. Tanjiro can’t get through one season of Demon Slayer without getting massively beat up, he’s gonna have to spend half a year healing up again, isn’t he? Also as a Sun Breather, it seems he’s able to tap into everyone else’s element, like Thunder as Zenitsu was showing him. Nezuko was in fact, burning up, and it says a lot about HER that she kicked Tanjiro off of her saying “saving the other people is more important than saving me.” I think those Hashura who were worried about what she might do - if that doesn’t address their biggest concern, I don’t know what will. Kibutsuji has spent all this time unwillingly making Allie’s to find a cure for the sun, which makes sense - but it also drops an elephant - apparently the demon syndrome was engineered by humans. So in a way, we’re responsible for our own trouble (AGAIN). Also, Kibutsuji is pretty much Tanjiro’s opposite - it’s like the line Samuel L. Jackson said once “the villain in a comic book is the exact opposite of the hero in every way.” But Tanjiro’s search has been flipped, now Kibutsuji is coming after Nezuko and is personally invested. Boy, not sure how Zenitsu is gonna take this… Also Mitsuri is a little slow on the uptake with Nezuko’s Sun theme… hey, wait, if Nezuko let’s Genya eat part of her flesh for his benefit, what are those repercussions? 😅 I’m getting silly now By the way, you mentioned other shows killing off characters - I think you meant singular, right? It seems that the cure is well under way with Nezuko’s blood, but now it’s a race between Tanjiro’s group and Kibutsuji’s to find the solution they’re seeking - and everyone is after the same person. Nezuko was already popular, but this is getting ridiculous. By the way Season 5 of DS (I’m calling it that b/c Apple treats the Mugen Train arc as S2 and Entertainment District as S3) had a preview visual released for the next arc from ufotable. So yeah, they’re already at work on the next part. It’s a matter of when, not if. I have noticed a pattern - last season we beat Upper Six, this season we beat five and four. So is three next? Because that would be Akaza… and there’s still a score to settle there from a certain train arc. Hmmm… That’s all I have to go on for now, but I’m sure we’ll here more about it before too long!

Interesting, I can see where you're coming from! Yeah I like how these demon flashbacks were just basically saying that they were both always jerks haha. That's what I was thinking about the Sun Breathing, that must be why he can do other breathing forms! LOL this boy can't think about a fight without getting incapacitated for several months! I know, Nezuko made the choice for him, even while she was literally burning up. I'm so glad they were there to see that, in case there was any doubt about Nezuko's loyalties! That's a good point about Kibutsuji being Tanjiro's opposite, and it's crazy to think that demonism came from humans originally too. Oof, I really don't like that Nezuko's a target now! Zenitsu's panic is gonna go through the roof! LOL my girl was a little distracted I guess! OMG, I honestly have no clue what eating Nezuko's flesh might do, maybe take away his demon-like powers???? It's a fair question! Well, there have been a few to kill off some characters lately....Bad Batch, Jojo, and I just watched Geats, although I hadn't at the time of filming this. Nezuko is gonna be even more popular now right! That's fair about the numbering, Crunchyroll does list it that way. That's great that they're making more! Ooooohhhh I can't wait to see Akaza get taken out!!! Yeah this is such a popular show, I'm sure we'll get some info sooner rather than later!!!

Alright! Who would think I finish the whole season 3 even before season 2 first half? Come to think of it, did the whole Swordsmith Village arc only happened within 2-3 days? The day Tanjiro arrives, the day he met Muichiro, and the day after. Oh wait, I guess there is the training part too. But still, it is on par with Jojo: Golden Wind for how fast the story concluding, judging from the time passing in the story. I'm thinking right now, what make impact for a sacrificing scene of Nezuko like that. Is it because of her weak to sun, but still willing to help other? Or was it that you adore her? I'm thinking that what if Armin was actually weak to fire or heat, will that make his sacrifice during the defeated of Colossal Titan even more impact? What do you think?

Way to go!! Oh wow, I didn't even realize that on the timing! OMG yes, Golden Wind is another one that was super short in actual time! OOF, that's a great question about Nezuko!!! I think the weakness aspect definitely upped the stakes for me. OMG ARMIN, my baby!!! That would def make it worse!!!
