Hey everyone! I'm back with season 2, episode 1 of Legend of Vox Machina!  Wow, we really hit the ground running here....I guess how could you not when we left off with dragons last time!!!  Our crew just barely makes it out, and with a handful of survivors.  But this is just the beginning of what I know will be an epic quest to find a way to stop the dragons!  I'm also really curious about the specifics of why the dragons are doing this.  It really feels like there's more to it!  I guess we'll find out!  Great ep - enjoy!  ~ MH

It’s here! So excited for this season and the future, it just gets better and better! Thordak is voiced by the late Lance Reddick and I couldn’t be happier, he was amazing. At least we got him for a little bit. The way the dragons were designed for this show is unbelievable, they all look perfect. Thordak looks so metal with all the jets coming out of him. And the animation this episode is insane! They went all out, especially when Thordak blew a hole through the castle!

Oh, and quick note, I found out the dungeon master for Critical Role is quite an accomplished dub VA, so when he’s not cooking up these crazy scenarios, he’s voicing people like Levi from AoT, among others. Did you get a bit of a LOTR vibe from this? Dragons destroying villages, and those dragon eyes sure looked like a Sauron eye… Now the real question is - is your comment section making you nervous with merit, or are we pulling the wool over your eyes to misdirect again? You’ll never know… 😈 🤭

That I do not!! WHOA, no kidding about the DM!! That's crazy! Yeah, I can definitely see some LOTR similarities. Haha, who even knows! You guys have fooled me before!!!

Yeah Episode 1 goes hard from the get go....I'd kinda forgotten just how hard. The Noblewoman of the King's advisory council casts a basic "shield" spell but unfortunately the King was outside of it and got poisoned by the Green Dragon. Black Dragons use Acid Breath weapons and of course Big Red uses Fire. White Dragons use ice/cold breath weapons....at least those are the basic color schema in D&D 5e and earlier editions, but clearly LoVM2 is taking a few liberties here and there with the various dragon types and how they decided to animate & depict them.

Sidebar, If you haven't seen the new Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves movie with Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez and Hugh Grant, I highly recommend it.

Yeah it sure does! I know, the poor king! Oh that's good to know about the dragon powers, thanks! Also I saw the trailer for the D&D movie and it looks fun! I haven't gotten a chance to see it yet!
