Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to Red vs. Blue season 15, episodes 5 - 7!!! Oh dang, I was not expecting the kinds of things that were described happening in the 10-month gap to our crew lol!!!  Also, what the heck?!?!  How on earth is Church still out there?!  And is Grif really quitting?!?!!?!  Simmons doesn't seem to be taking that well....!  If there's one thing that's for sure it's that I'm pretty sure neither Church or Caboose can die on this show lol.  Also, who knew where the whole mysterious "here to serve" character was going?!  Did not see that one coming!!!  Great eps!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

I just love the "and then Donut!" joke. gets me every time. Also, this season was airing the first time I ever went to RTX in 2017, so there's an episode later on that just has a special place in my heart.

Caboose shows up and immediately says he’s fine, because “I landed on my head, it’s the part of me most used to it.” Yeah, that tracks! Also, it’s appropriately ironic this got posted on July 4 especially after Sarge’s rant about “Red, White and Blue working together is positively un-American!” So I get the feeling the last ten months might’ve just been its own season, but apparently Donut is just as, if more effective, than Caboose at causing property damage. How DO you burn down a water park? You wanted to know what happened after the Temple of Procreation got turned on: I got one answer - don’t ask, don’t tell…! So anyway I don’t know if you picked it up but Caboose made giant robots to be friends with the dinosaurs and this is actually what ended up causing the dinosaurs to go extinct. Oh, and Jax didn’t start the record button until they were done and Dylan asked if he’d gotten it all. Grif being the Master Yoda of Laziness isn’t the only Star Wars pun on here - the message seems a lot like a certain famous Princess Leia recording doesn’t it? I know you know. Grif is just done with everything. He’s tired, he wants to be done, and he’s tired of doing stuff and he’s not gonna take it anymore. He no longer cares why the others are here. Sarge’s rant about the White Team got slightly Meta, didn’t it…? Like Lopez said, “Tumblr is going to hate this!” At least they’re very self-aware… XD Well, everyone but Sarge… I’m sure you enjoyed the horror movie tropes, this isn’t the first show this week that’s used elements… by the way your mirror image is doing different things than you. Oh by the way, Kimball said she had an AI… what exactly did she mean? Also it would seem Simmons is taking the absence of Grif harder than the others. Sarge staying up as long as he is is actually a reference: “how long is it?” “It’s Day 5.” RT did a show several years ago for a bit called Day 5, that was kind of a horror franchise based in the premise of lack of sleep. Remember how I said the “server” isn’t what you think? Ten months ago, huh? Just how many kids did Tucker side in one night… also what is it this week with your shows and illegitimate children? I’m sensing a pattern… The life finds a way joke was meant to be Jurassic Park but we can apply it here too… Look, suggestion to the male population (which includes me): don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time? I could start to elaborate on some of the names of the characters you met in the last twenty seconds, but it’s a little early for that yet… Huh, I’m getting TOO philosophical here now, I better stop while I’m ahead… plus I STILL need to pack for RTX, there’s a lot to get finished before flying! 👍

Wow. Hell I always thought if the rest of project freelancer ever met these guys they’d probably laugh. But these dudes would have shown them some hardcore stuff! 🤖 🦖 I really can’t be mad at Grif as much as I want him to go. But he’s technically right. He’s done his do’s and more, given a guy lazier than a sloth. This was his reward after so much he probably thought he was absolutely done. So for these people to come and shake things up again— I mean it would frustrate me too if I were in his shoes. And the team of Grif and Simmons is no more. I was hoping someone saying but nope. Well not in the way I had hoped 🤦‍♂️ And that ending. I’m done for the week with how that played out. I hate these guys sometimes I really do 😹. Poor Tucker but yeah consequences. 😭

I'd love to see that missing 10 month season (or maybe not haha). LOL I'm better off not having specifics of what happened during the Temple of Procreation stuff :P OHHHHHH I did not pick up on that about the giant robots and dinos lol!!! OMG, that sounds like Jax lol. Ohhh I know the reference alright....might as well call our crew Obi-Wan Kenobi, cause I think they're Church's only hope! Exactly, I get where Grif is coming from. Yikes, the rant got pretty uncomfy, I bet Tumblr was not pleased as they predicted from the wreckage of the fourth wall :P AHHHH don't freak me out about the mirror images, that's like one of my number one scary things!!! Yeah I'm curious about the AI?? Ohhhh that's interesting about the reference to the other RT show lol. Oh you weren't kidding, he was not what I thought! HAHAHAHA what on earth is it with my shows this week and kids people didn't know about?!!? I mean, I think that's a wise suggestion :P Hmmmm interesting side note about the characters!! Carolina sings during the end credits for this season. Hopefully they're in the version you watch, but if not it's worth looking up. I've always liked the process server joke, but not enough to make me laugh. My brain goes: "that was funny" like it's adding information to an Excel sheet. That Unicorn helmet from Halo 5 is bizarre though, I'm glad they used it for a joke character, rather than someone we had to take seriously. Friend or Foe, all I would have been thinking was "What a dumb helmet design" the whole time he was talking to them.

Oh wow no kidding! I'll listen for her! I hope so! That's interesting about the server joke and how it affected you! There's for sure varying levels of joke processing, especially on a show like this lol. That unicorn helmet was something else!! Hahaha!!!!

The fact that they spent six episodes having this guy say “I am here to serve Lavernius Tucker”, just for it to be a pun is insane. XD I was cracking up when that happened. Also don’t know if you’ve watched it but that first person perspective shot really gave me LOST vibes lol

When I watched this batch the other day, I was laughing so hard at the Malarkey bit that I didn’t even see the ST reference. I only just saw it here XD And I just realized at the end, with the fake group using rip-off names they named the Church one Temple lol

I don’t think I love this set of episodes but they are very funny. Of course when we see the Reds and Blues again it’s complete chaos LOL. Yeah I don’t think anyone watching this thought Caboose was actually dead with everything he has survived. I love that we get to hear about all the ridiculous shenanigans that they have been up to since we last saw them. My favorite stuff we learn about in episode 5 is all the dinosaur stuff & Sarge’s war against gravity. Although the funniest thing might be Carolina being a bad singer & the guys pretending she is great or the government conversation. Hearing them talk about what happened to Church just makes me sad. The message being from Church was super shocking when this came out and I really enjoyed the theory creation it brought about. I like episode 6 with the character stuff & the Sarge moments. I love seeing how much everyone especially Carolina & Tucker care about Church with the urgency but I’m glad they decided to take things slow and think things through. I really enjoy Andrew’s conversation with Grif because of how relatable he is but also because of the depth her thoughts give to Grif. It makes sense that he would react with anger & defensiveness when told he cares because he doesn’t want to care anymore because of how obviously exhausted he is. Sarge’s speech is funny less so because of almost being offensive and more so because of how clearly he’s losing it. Also sometimes he has moments of lucidity when he sees he is wrong but then he just doubles down LOL. I like how Grif is being honest about why he isn’t going and even if he doesn’t really dislike them he is clearly tired of them in this moment. I liked your thoughts on Grif in this episode. I like episode 7 with all the horror movie references. However because of that I also don’t have that much to say. It says how strong Tucker is that he is able to easily deal with Jax’s surprise? Attack. I think his reaction to his friends in danger is good writing because after Church he doesn’t want to lose anymore friends. While I don’t really like serious build up to a joke I love the child support joke with Tucker after the sexual escapades during the Chorus after party. Thinking with his lower brain has finally came back to haunt him unfortunately having not thought of the consequences and this is why sex education is necessary folks LOL. I love the similar but different names for the fakes. Also procreation party is not something you ever imagine saying but this show has a habit of surprising you. Anyway awesome reaction & thoughts. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

I'll bet the theories were swirling about Church!!! The conversation with Grif was well done too. OMG agreed, like the totally unhinged aspect of Sarge's speech is what makes it funny. He doubles down for sure lol! I'm so happy you enjoyed my thoughts on Grif, and the horror movie references were great weren't they! Yeah his reaction makes total sense. LOL I have to say, the buildup on this joke was worth it hahaha. Lower brain hahahaha!!! Yeah pretty much :P The knockoff names were great as well.
