Hey everyone! I'm back with season 2, episode 5 of Legend of Vox Machina!  WOW!!!  What an awesome Key'leth ep!!!  I loved getting to know more of her background, meeting her dad, and most of all - watching her totally own this situation!  And not only saving the day, but successfully completing 1/3 of her Aramente!!!  What a boss new power to have too - dang!  Also, our friends from before aren't dead, yay!  Really glad we got to see some character growth for our girl!!!  Cannot wait for more!  Great ep - enjoy!  ~ MH

These comments will obviously be a bit shorter for obvious reasons… but here’s my stab at it. 😉 First, a request: please be careful and be mindful of your enunciation when you’re talking about Vex or Vax because you have a tendency to say one as the other and sometimes it can get… a little confusing what or who you’re actually talking about. 😂 Grog’s sword has a name, Craven Edge - and apparently it gets stronger by drinking the blood of his enemies. (Sarge also drank that - and occasionally a strawberry YooHoo.) “Something is wrong.” - so, would you care to show me anything you’ve watched where everything went perfectly according to plan? 😅 Keyleth’s battle isn’t so much about everything around her but more about overcoming her own fears and concerns so she can get to be the person she needs to be. Everything else she has to go through is just a trial for getting her to that point. Also, who opened the portal, do you think it was anyone we know? Well, I guess you’ll have to keep going. Oh wait, you already did - while Thordak is a guest at Ripley’s Believe it or Not. (It’s an actual coastal attraction out here, in case the joke went over your head.) Moving on!

Okay Avatar last air bender, I see you Keyleth! Okay I know we’re definitely not in favor of whatever is going on between Grog and that sword but do I even have a right to feel worried? I mean I understand feeling hunger 24/7. I mean I would a hypocrite if I said I didn’t understand how it feels, right? 😰

No worries, hope you're having a great time! Lol, I honestly do say Vax and Vex very separately in my head....like I'm not intentionally using the names as interchangeable....I guess it's just my accent maybe?? :P Not sure...!! LOL Sarge would probably LOVE this sword!!! Yeah, something's always wrong on this show, true lol. Well said about Keyleth's journey here. Hahaha I've heard of Ripley's Believe It or Not!!!! That works so well here!!! I have no clue who opened that portal, but hopefully they'll reveal it soon!

The Last Airbender vibes from Keyleth and the Ashari are very much intentional. Matt Mercer and his wife Marisha (Keyleth) are apparently really big Avatar fans. And Vilya, Keyleth’s mom, is voiced by Janet Varney aka Korra! So, that scene with Grog talking to his sword on the toilet actually happened in the game, so I’m really happy it made the cut here! XD it was just as good as I’d hoped it would be. Man, Keyleth’s big scenes aren’t my favorite of the show, but they’re 2/2 so far on being the most beautiful. And I really like how everyone else gets a little something this season, since last season mainly focused on Percy’s story.

Oh nice! WHOA!!!! Korra is the mom's voice, no kidding!! That's awesome that the sword scene made the cut too. They are visually stunning right? I agree, it was nice to have a little something for everyone character wise this season!

I think Kayleths father is voiced by the same VA as Blake Belladonnas father in RWBY his voice is very distintive xx
