Hey everyone!  I'm back with Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 8!  Oh wow, it was awesome to see Yuji in action here!!!  He's grown so much!  I can see how the training, being around his peers (especially Todo), etc. has matured him and his skill a whole lot.  I guess he was more clever after all!  Also interesting to see how Geto's plan is coming together.  It's pretty meticulous, but this is Gojo we're talking about - he for sure has something up his sleeve!!!  The pieces are falling into place!  Can't wait for more!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Actually we’re only one third of the way through the season, plenty of time for the insanity to kick up a notch - but anime is a docile genre, right? 😂 This may be partially just me, but my brain is kind of spinning trying to remember a lot of the finer, complex details in this series. This is NOT a show you want to walk away from and come back blind, it’s easy to get lost. It’s just that sometimes I feel like the show has so much going on at once that it’s hard to remember the nuances of every single concept, I kind of wish it was just a little bit easier to keep my brain wrapped around. One thing that’s just completely messed up and not addressed at all is the people caught in the crossfire… according to the plot they’re just fodder and bait - and some of them just get killed to make a point. That’s pretty callous, it just shows you how much disregard Geto’s crew has for anyone who is “normal.” Mei Mai correctly assumed Yuji would rather fight a powerful curse, then transfigured humans, also emphasizing that point. I’m not sure what the whole locust lesson was about, but they travel in swarms… I’m hoping that’s not the case here…. During the punching scene, I thought for just a moment that someone needed to start yelling ORA ORA. 🙃 It’s kind of twisted how this whole sinister plot is being hatched while they’re on a kid’s playground blowing bubbles, but that’s just how “weird” this show likes to get. I’m sure Gojo can see through the plan of the curses but I’m not sure if he’s planned completely for Geto. Those two are playing a very complex game of chess and it’s safe to say Geto is predicting Gojo’s movements ahead of time as well. It’s like thinking five moves ahead… who can see farther? And also Mahito is off to do something… nothing good I’ll wager. Who’s really going to end up being the clever one, and how many lives will be lost before then…?

Hi Hime :) It's a Kamen Rider curse that Yuji faces at the beginning, everyone knows that. Probably the fault of all the people from the future who watched Geats and weren't happy that the DGP lost lol. Mei Mei already had a good design, a good voice, a very "domi mommy" vibe but if she also uses crows, how can I not like her. With her big axe, which has a rather "Viking" look, it is possible that she is inspired by Odin. The one who uses blood is the third brother, his two younger brothers were killed by Yuji and Nobara at the end of the first season. Blood Manipulation, we have already seen this type of technique by other jujutsu sorcerers, remember ? In any case, we're going to see a lot of blood and death this season, I have the impression.

Idk what’s actually brewing but I’m not sure if I should be nervous yet. It’s a smart prerequisite plan for whatever their true intent is but same time they know it’s Gojo, they know he’s nearly impossible to defeat, so for them to think of something like this is kind of incredible when you think about it. Obviously you can think “that’s all you got” but also it’s only the first part of an objective. I can’t quite say I’m fully confident yet.

Oh man, we've got a long way to go, I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of drama between then and now! I totally get it about being fuzzy on the finer details! Honestly, I'm glad I'm not the only one! Oh I know, the way people are being used as fodder is nuts. Geto doesn't even see them as people. Oh true about locusts traveling in swarms - one was easy to take out, but a swarm might be different. I'm glad Mei Mei didn't make him fight a transfigured human too! HAHAHAHAHA ok I was THIS CLOSE to ora'ing, I had to restrain myself :P Oh I know, gotta love the sick contrast of them discussing all that on a playground. That's the thing, like I believe in Gojo but I'm not sure if he's totally in tune with everything that Geto could have planned, you know? Good call about Mahito too. That's the question right?? Yikes....!!

Hi Spadeas! :) Omg it totally is!! LOL!! I guess there were some folks out there who still wanted the bad end :P Mei Mei is pretty freaking awesome, it's hard not to love her right! I could see her being inspired by Odin!! Ohhhhh gotcha, thanks for clearing that up about the brother! I do remember the blood manipulation now! Yikes, sounds like we're in for it!!!

Hi Melissa, my first exam is done and four more are coming up next week. The first exam was quite ok but I can never tell if the result will be good or not. I hope for the best.😅 Today's episode of Jjk was very exciting. Those poor folks just wanted to enjoy Halloween but now they’re being used to defeat Gojo lol, rip to those caught in the crossfire, but I have a feeling no one is going to survive and if so it’s gonna hurt to watch. Also the Grasshopper guy was goofy and fun, definitely an unexpected enemy to start the arc with on Yuji’s side, their fight was pretty cool tho and Grasshopper man was just silly enough to keep it lighthearted, I have a feeling there won’t be much more of that tho. And Mei Mei and her little bother, had some funny bits throughout the episode, definitely looking forward to seeing them in action. And now the assault on Gojo has begun, it seems to be going his way now but I had a feeling that playing into the enemy’s hands was a bad idea, rip to those people once again tho and I’m looking forward to seeing how this fight escalates.

Hey Bellana!! Oh, I'm so glad the first exam is done! I'm glad it went okay - it's always so hard to tell exactly how it went, but I'm sure you did great! Good luck with the next ones coming up! I bet you'll be so relieved when they're over!! I know, they just wanted to celebrate Halloween, it's crazy to think how all the bystanders are just getting picked off one by one! The grasshopper was fun for sure! It definitely helped to lighten the mood a bit. I was glad that Mei Mei was there too, the parts with her and her brother definitely helped keep things lighter too! I know, I'm worried for Gojo too! I can't wait to see where it's all going!!!
