Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo Part 4, episode 38!!!  WHOA!!!!  You guys, what an intense and swerve-filled ep!  First off, Josuke's determination is just off the charts here!!!  Like how is my boy even still standing?!  The way he faked out Kira regarding the ghost dad was SO EPIC!!!
And last but not least, Okuyasu!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :'D  Omg, it was actually starting to sink in that he might really be gone, when all of a sudden.....he made the choice to come back and help his friend!!!  Wow do I love that for his character arc too - the fact that it was his brother giving him the choice and all!  And now, Kira's totally exposed and surrounded - this has gotta be the end, right?!  Guess we'll find out in the next ep!!!  Great ep! Enjoy!  ~ MH

Okuyasu is such a lovable dummy, his return was so well done. And the strategy Josuke was using, big chess moves right there.

kamenriderhime

I know, he really is! I'm thrilled he made it!!! His return was even more touching that the "death" in my opinion. It did so much for his character too. Omg no kidding about Josuke too, his plan was brilliant!!!

Hi Hime :) Hayato was already ready to commit suicide, so sacrificing himself to save Okuyasu and Josuke isn't that far away. But yes, he is one of the few mere humans to be so vital in a final fight. Small detail, the two black dots that fall on the panties after the perve neighbor exploded, are in fact his eyes. The censorship only shows two black spots however. But yes, this fight is just pure reflection and will, no contest of strength. Get ready, because this is going to be the norm for the future. The friendship between Josuke and Okuyasu is so adorable, I wonder who is the better duo compared to Joseph and Ceasar, Jotaro and Kakoyin or even... Polnareff and Iggy.

2023-09-25 21:52:59 Did you think I was done talking about Hayato? Because look at this little guy taking the weight of the world on his shoulders, AND FREAKIN' CARRYING IT LIKE A MAD LAD! Kid had to figure out how to stop a complete party wipe, and not only did he managed to figure out this Herculean Challenge... BUT THE MAD LAD ACTUALLY **SAVED** everybody and stopped Bites the Dust, and even saved Okuyasu with that Hail Mary of his all because of his faith in Josuke's abilities. ...Speaking of abilities, it's nice to see how far Josuke has gotten because you can see him putting EVERYTHING he's learned to do in this series to the ultimate test, figuring NEW ways to use his stand... It's why I have only one issue with the Hol Horse/Josuke Spin-Off manga, and that's because even though that story is supposed to be PRE-Part 4, Josuke feels like he's battling and operating his stand as if it's Post-Part 4. xD So in Jojo All Star Battle, we had 'Bites the Dust' Kira as the first playable Kira. He uses Bites the Dust and Stray Cat mostly, while the Second Playable Kira was his original appearance as he used Sheer Heart Attack and some coin tricks from when he attacked Shigechi. Honestly out of the two, I prefer Sheer Heart Attack Kira. ...Also I wish we had more Big Bads that tried to stack stand powers like this. xD Like already Killer Queen's first bomb and Sheer Heart attack should be considered two completely different stands with Bites the Dust being the third, and then you got him calling in Stand Strikers like Stray Cat and his Dad? That's like pretty much 5 stands under his control. xD ...Anywho, this is certainly going to be a climatic finish. Our Fighters are all here, authorities of all types had been called in because of the explosions... Kira's cornered with his back against the wall like he's never had been in his life... All that's left is for the gang to seal the deal, and deal with Kira. ...What could *POSSIBLY* go wrong at this point? >:]

Hello Melissa, first of, I love your new merch especially the Josuke figure. He looks so cute and perfect. Now I feel like buying one for myself. Unfortunately, these figures (if you want a good quality) are very expensive in Germany and difficult to obtain. The t-shirt is pretty cool too. In these episodes you realize that you have really reached the finale of the part. The intensity is very high and you have to expect deaths of beloved characters. Kira's plan to use Stray Cat as a partner is brilliant but fatal for our heroes. Hayato is such a brave child. He put his life on the line to save people he doesn't really know. He also trusts Josuke with his life because he is sure that Josuke can fix him. At first, I was also firmly believing that Okuyasu was dead, since other Jobros died before him. That's why his comeback was such a big emotional surprise. When I heard the sound of The Hando, I almost jumped out of my chair from happiness. I am so relieved that he survived and his dream of Keicho still makes me emotional even after watching it for the fifth time. The Josuke vs Kira fight was made so perfectly. You didn't know who really had the upper hand. Josuke used the full power of Crazy Diamond and showed the audience what he really is capable of. I was also really surprised that Kira's father was behind the precise instructions (had completely forgotten him like you). I laughed so hard when Kira was blown up his father. Serves him right for being "killed" again by his son who he let get away with all the crimes. A small detail that I noticed later is that Josuke, when he shoots the glass shards at Kira, uses the technique that Jotaro taught him in the rat episode. That's actually pretty brilliant, that in the end every experience Josuke has gained over the part is important. One thing that has always bothered me is that Jotaro and the others who are literally around the corner don't notice anything about the fight. Jotaro even thinks he hears Josuke's voice and doesn't even make an attempt to check on him. One theory I heard once is that Jotaro is a bit deaf in one ear from the pistol shot in Ep. 1 of SDC and therefore he can't hear Josuke's voice well. From my point of view, that might even make sense. On the other hand, the scene was also not well implemented in the anime. In the manga, the rain is much heavier and the characters can hardly understand each other. Therefore, the scene comes across to an anime-only rather nonsensical. But now it's time for Kira to "bites the dusto". I'm curious how you'll find Kira's ending. To lighten the mood for the finale a bit I have a funny video for you which summarizes the scenes of the last fight in a funny way. I love this video so much. https://www.instagram.com/p/CTQAzGFiPNQ/?next=%2F See you on Wednesday for the finale. I can't await it.

“Hello. I’m telling you I have to discipline my unreasonable son. The truth is, I’m about to blow up a pervert, send air bubbles designed to explode after another citizen, while protecting a dead cat morphed into a plant and avoiding weapons of hardened blood.” Sometimes the truth is stranger than the fiction… Kira does have one point in that everything went off the rails after everyone started upsetting his “lifestyle…” in other words, he’s a control freak. Everything must go exactly as it’s intended or he gets thrown off. Well, welcome to karma and real life, Buddy. I swear the guy at the start… it’s a trope but you KNEW he was gonna get it… he probably was the one stealing the underwear in the first place. Also… I’m a straight male so I think I can speak for us when I say… just WHY? It makes no sense… but I guess anime thinks it’s kind of funny… in a disturbing way? The whole tag thing with the air bubble tag team and Kira’s dad was expertly laid out, I had completely forgotten about him… he’s just been off doing other things… Josuke tricking Kira into “killing” him though is kinda dark… but it’s not like he didn’t have it coming… Josuke and Kira’s final face-off reminds me of that trope where two boxers are so tired after fighting so long they’re just randomly swinging at air, it’s kinda hilarious. I’m injured but you’re injured more… Umm… you might want to put a headphone warning on the part where Okuyasu decided not to die… 😅 That’s so him, though… Huh, is this the afterlife…? I should probably go back for right now, then… Two loose threads I can think of… Reimi deserves some Justice and uh, with all those sirens, that reminds me… where’s our alien friend? Last, but not least…. You brought this on yourself. “I think we’re about wrapped up here, this Kira case looks pretty AIRTIGHT.” OF ALL THE PHRASING YOU COULD HAVE CHOSEN FIR THIS EPISIDE… I’m done. I’m leaving! I’ll talk to you tomorrow! 😅 /mock slams door in fake anger on the way out of the chat

What was the opening scene?! 🩲 That one hurt. I just kept screaming “go down already darn it, go down Kira!” And Ghost dad just had me irked at that point. There’s a limit to protecting your kid sir! What a nuisance! Josuke was boss for handling that. The minute I see Okuyasu I let go of the biggest breath lodged in my throat. It’s definitely more than implied what happened to him. They showed that smokey, hazy aura leaving his body. I was wondering why they showed that and it hit me after, he really did die. His brother was not the most lawful but to Okuyasu he gave him direction. He was the brother with the plans. When his brother died he took note on how he pushed Okuyasu away to save him. It’s amazing seeing that same brother wanting him to decide for himself. And the fact he decided to stay was amazing. The way Okuyasu was talking, he probably didn’t even think much of it; It was just that easy a decision. Man I can’t believe part 4 is done. Was this shorter than SDC? It feels like we just started last week? Man I’m really not ready to say goodbye just yet. Anyways Josuke, Hayato and OKUYASU! were amazing in this one. That beautiful Josuke figurine is like a trophy for sticking it out. This was massively intense. I can and can’t wait for next week. It’s going to be tough to say goodbye. But we’ll also see the besties kick butt like they always do 🥲

Hi Spadeas! :) Omg I know, his resolve is off the charts! It's crazy to think he's just an ordinary human with no Stand too. Ohhh yes I noticed that after, I didn't realize at first they were supposed to be eyeballs but that just makes it even more gross and disturbing lol. It really is all down to willpower at this point. Wow, I can't wait to see how it plays out in the future too! Omg I love their friendship so much!!! They definitely rate amongst the top adorable duos in this series!! Polnareff and Iggy <3 Hehe!

kamenriderhime

OMG let's never be done talking about Hayato, he is a flipping boss!!! He for real saved them all with nothing but his brainpower!!! And he had to size up Josuke's abilities and take a huge gamble based on what he saw too. Ohhh that's such a good point, Josuke really is putting everything he's seen into practice here! I was thinking of that when he spilled the ashes on the bubble, that was very similar to what Joseph did when he used his blood to see the invisible baby. I can see how it would take you out of the Hol Horse manga a little that he was already at that level before the part technically started! (Speaking of that manga, any idea where I can buy/read it? I can't find it on Amazon or my Shonen Jump app!) That's interesting about the gameplay for Kira! It's actually a really good idea to stack powers isn't it! He really made the most of as many abilities/people/things as possible!! Oh yeah I can see how that would have been a very All For One situation!! OMG I was for real feeling like "this is it, they got him" after this ep, and then the panic hit me like "OH GOD he could still totally do something in the last one" hahaha!!! The finale was amazing, can't wait for you guys to see my reaction to it!

kamenriderhime

Hey Bellana! :) I'm so happy you love my merch, including the figure! That's too bad that you don't have access to good quality figures like that in Germany! :( Have you tried eBay, or won't many sellers ship there? The person who got this for me actually got it used from eBay! That must be so frustrating! I know, these ones were intense!!! Using Stray Cat is so smart but so bad for our crew. Hayato was so brave and so smart here!!! They really made us go through some pain there with Okuyasu! At first, I thought it would be easy for Josuke to fix him....but then when they started showing more and more that he was dead, I started to realize that this was probably the Jojobro we'd lose :( And then they brought him back!!!! You must have been so excited when you saw it for the first time, I can imagine!!! Learning how he came back is SO emotional!!! I don't think it will ever stop being emotional for me either. The fight was amazing, I agree!!! It really was hard to tell who was even winning. Josuke did such an amazing job with Crazy Diamond here!!! Yeah the ghost dad was a total surprise!!! It was a fitting end for him for sure. Ohhhh no kidding that that was the same thing he did in the rat episode, that really adds up that Josuke's using everything he's learned throughout the whole part! Lol the rain thing is pretty unbelievable, at first I thought they were further away than I thought they were, but knowing they weren't that far makes it a bit silly! I LOVE the theory that Jotaro's hearing isn't great after that pistol shot, that actually adds up so much! It also would've been better if the rain had been heavy like in the manga. I can tell you right now that I LOVED the ending and I can't wait for you to see my reaction to it!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The video was amazing, I laughed so hard!!!! That sound is way too perfect with the animation hahahaha!!! See you Wednesday :D

kamenriderhime

LOL I guess you could say that the facts are more....bizarre....than fiction?? :P Yeah, he's definitely a control freak, but it's kinda crazy to expect everything to go fine forever when your hobby is killing people. LOL I have no idea why or what the underwear scene was all about either, glad I'm not the only one, but God did it make me laugh to break the tension, so maybe that's it??? I totally forgot about ghost dad too, that was so well done! Oh yeah, making Kira take out his own dad was harsh but well deserved. And he's right, technically he was already dead anyway, so. :P OMG their final fight is totally like two sleepy cats slapping the air at one another! The boxer analogy works too though haha. Ohhhhh sorry I should have put a headphone warning there!!!! Oh good call about Mikitaka, I hope he's far away from the sirens! And so true about Reimi!!! ;) HAHAHAHAHHA I was totally out of line here, how could I possibly use an unintentional pun and have the nerve to think there wouldn't be some big last thing coming?!!? I have no defense for myself!!! Sounds like you're pretty upset and.....need to get some AIR maybe?? :P *runs away*

kamenriderhime

OMG right?! Like what the heck?!?!!? Hahahaha! Seriously, he just wouldn't stay down! Ghost dad had it coming. I get protecting your kid but it went way too far! Josuke was such a boss!!!! I didn't even put it together until after that that hazy glitter stuff was Okuyasu's soul....but yeah, I think we all know he was legit dead!!!! And he CAME BACK!!!! His brother being the one to send him back and give him that opportunity to think for himself was amazing. I'm so glad he decided to stay! It was an easy choice for sure! All three were MVPs for sure!!!! Awww I'm so glad you like my figure, isn't it beautiful!!! Such an amazing prize for making it through this part. It was shorter than SDC by about 9 eps I believe! And I also went pretty fast on this one since I was in between shows throughout the summer, and well, just couldn't get enough! Can't wait for you to see my last reaction tomorrow!!!! It's gonna be an emotional one for sure!!

Senpai

Yeah there's the ashes, there's the whole 'building walls' trick that he learned during Highway Star, there's the whole using the stand to 'flick' out projectiles from the Rat hunt. Even with his new techniques he pulls out, it never really feels like an asspull out of nowhere. It's honestly a spectacular battle. (If the Hol Horse manga is not on Shonen Jump or Amazon, then it probably does not have an official manga release in English yet. I'm not sure if it's going to get a English release, because there's plenty of Jojo spin-offs and one-offs that hadn't gotten one yet... Including a few that Araki had made himself!)

kamenriderhime

Ohhhhh yeah!!! Good call! It all adds up too. Ohhhh that makes me so happy that there's lots of spin-offs, but so sad that there's no translation / might not be!!! >.< I'd love to know what the spin-offs are, if they're okay to talk about at this part. If not, I'd love to hear about them later!!!!
