Hey everyone!  Here I am with Jojo Part 5, episode 6!!  Oh dang, this Stand fight was really intense!
Like I had no clue what was going on right up until the end reveal!!  Also, Moody Blues is such a SICK Stand, wow!!!!  At first I thought it had something to do with time, but it's literally like a VCR!!!
I also found Abacchio's past really interesting - I knew most of this crew would probably have a tragic past, and this really helped me understand his current mindset.  Plus the fact that Bruno saved him!  (Bruno's awesome so far btw)  That was a fun one!  Can't wait for what's next!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

The band is finally together, and that means DEAR LORD WE HAVE SO MUCH TO COVER, WHY OH WHY DID THEY INTRODUCE EVERYBODY IN ONE EPISODE?! Let's start off with Abbacchio. Honestly I keep underestimating this guy's stand, like I keep thinking it's weak when it's actually a little bit of a powerhouse. In the PS2 game, he's voice by Tetsu Inada. He plays the main villain in SSSS.Gridman, William Shakesphere in the Fate series(as well as Benkei), and he had also played Endeavor from My Hero Academia. o: In All-Star Battle(the PS3 game) and in Eyes of Heaven he's voiced by Taiten Kusunoki who voiced Morel from Hunter x Hunter. To be honest I don't remember Abbachio being much in the game, so I think he was just a support item. I know in the recent release of All-Star Battle R, Abbachio is now a DLC fighter! In the anime proper(and in All-Star Battle R since it uses the anime actors), he's voiced by Junichi Suwabe. Honestly he's got a lot of highly notable roles since I didn't have to dig deep into a filmography to find this: He voiced Grimmjow in Bleach, Aizawa in My Hero Aacademia, Dandy from Space Dandy, Viktor Nikiforov in Yurio on Ice, Archer from the Fate/Stay Night series, and Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen. He even voiced D'arby's Younger Brother in the Stardust Crusaders anime! Also while his stand is called 'Moody Blues', in the George Joestar novel they gave him the stand 'Videodrome'... Which is just like Moody Blues, but worse since it only works within a 24 hour frame of time. Also have you guessed which character had been voiced by Deku's VA? It's Narancia! You're going to love his stand name, I can guarantee it. xD He's voiced by Daiki Yamashita in the anime, but in the PS2 game he's voiced by Fujiko Takimoto... Who doesn't seem like she's been in much stuff? Though granted I don't know much about what she's in. The only thing I recgonize of her filmography is that she's the voice of Kid Link from the N64 Zelda games and the Japanese dub voice of Bobby Hill. xD Yūko Sanpei was the voice in All-Star Battle/Eyes of Heaven, she's Boruto. ...And Also Tai(or Taichi) in the 2020 version of Digimon Adventure, and you can see her in Jujutsu Kaisen as Ui Ui. And then there's Mista. In the PS2 game he was voiced by Kentarō Itō, who voiced Barry the Chopper in Full Metal Alchemist, Renji Abarai in Bleach, N'Doul from the Stardust Crusader anime. In All-Star Battle/Eyes of Heaven he's voiced by Kenji Akabane. ....I don't know if you're going to recognize any of his roles, so please forgive me if I decide to skip this guy. xD I think I'm allowed to! Meanwhile in the anime he's voiced by Kohsuke Toriumi. He played Kiba in Naruto, the president of the Rainbow Line in TOQGER, Kiyotaka Ishimaru from Danganronpa...and a lot of other roles from stuff I haven't seen. xD And fiiiiiiiiiinally, finally, finally... Fugo. In the PS2 game he voiced Zarbon in DBZ Kai(Kind of fitting in a way), Prince Aikka from Oban Star-Races, a Jojo Part 8 character in eyes of Heaven, Joshu(I know he has a 'Jo' in his name, but thank GOD he's not the Jojo of Part 8), and Male 2 from Episode 7 of Girls Bravo. ....Wait something isn't right about that last role...In Eyes of Heaven/All-Star Battle, he's voiced by Hisafumi Oda who played Lizard Misty in Saint Saiya. And finally there's Junya Enoki, who's the Japanese dub of Tom Holland as Spiderman, Senjuro Rengoku from Demon Slayer's Mugen Train, Komi's Brother in Komi Can't Communicate, Yuji from Jujutsu Kaisen, and 'T.K' from Digimon Adventure Tri. .....Whew. That's a lot. I should really make these posts on the weekend rather than like day of when you're about to post the reaction. xD I feel like at this point you might know the band-trivia more often than not... Or at least you're getting real good at picking out the stand-names from the audio which is also good. o:

Hi Hime :) If I ate in front of your reactions, I would have almost choked at the beginning of episode 5, Bruno talks about not attracting attention, while all the jojos, jojobros and enemies have a sense of fashion that out of the ordinary lol. We can say that it's damn ironic. For the voices, Narancia is indeed Izuku and Abbacchio is Aizawa. It would have been much funnier if he was Fugo, since he teaches things in Narancia. But for Narancia's adoption, you should share him with Alicia (Aliciaxlive), Narancia is her favorite in this part. Personally, my favorite is Mista. I even think it's my favorite jojobro all season. You have time to get to know him, but we'll see your opinion of him at the end of the season ^^. Abbacchio remains imprisoned by his feelings of guilt linked to his past, this is also why there is the symbolism of the hourglass with the chains in the opening with him, but also the fact that his stand allows you to relive/rewatch a passage from the past, as he himself had to see this scene again and again in his head after the death of his partner. I find that this season, the stands are even more linked to the personality and experiences of the characters than in previous seasons. I'll come back to it when we discover the rest of the members. We had a little clue for the boats well before, when Bruno gets the key, you see a 1 on it, but the boat they are on is called Lagoon 2, so Zucherro placed Lagoon 2 on top of Lagoon 1 and that It was upon seeing this that Abbachio and Bruno understood the subterfuge. Just to finish on the subject of voices, Bakugo's voice actor is not coming right away. As for the other voice that you seemed to recognize in the car, I searched a little, it turns out that it's Iida. Clearly, it’s the My Hero Academia cast reunion lol. Now about my stand. As I already said, I tried to imagine my persona in different universes like MHA, One Piece or even HxH, I have of course already thought about Jojo too. My stand would be called Feel Good, in relation to Feel Good inc by Gorillaz. Its power would be linked to vibration, allowing it to break things by making them vibrate, but also cause sound waves by vibrating the air, therefore making it possible to project it using a vibration wave or to slow down a fall. This episode introduces Abba as a character. His backstory is really tragic and I feel for him. It's really sad to see how a man who wanted to do such a great job as a police officer can fall into a gang that deals with drugs. But like you said, Leone is also a little bit responsible for that. My feelings for Abbachio are mixed. I understand that he is suspicious of Gio because he doesn't really know him. But he doesn't have to treat him like a piece of trash either. Surely they will get along in the future, or not? Abbachio is a character that takes time to become likable, at least it was for me. Now after my 6 rewatch I love him as much as anyone else. We both also have one thing in common with our first names. Leone means lion in Italian and my real name means lioness in German/Latin. It took me a while to realize this, but I love that detail. I agree with you that in this part it went very fast that I liked all the characters. This is probably because we immediately know more about their background and it is usually tragic as well. The fight against Soft Machine is really super exciting. I would never have expected it to be 2 boats, although this was teaserd. Moody Blues really fits perfectly with Abbas job as a police officer. This could probably solve all his cases. For today's fanarts i thought i'd share some funny comics with gio and abba and of course of the complete crew. i made sure of course that the character that is still missing doesn't appear. I get where you’re coming from - I am very much enjoying going through JoJo with you, but I can’t say it’s my absolute favorite show you’re doing at the moment, but I u sweat and the sentiment. A couple of months ago I dove into Dr. Stone and realized I had done 2.5 seasons in a little under two weeks. That being said, if you binged you wouldn’t have time to theorycraft, and isn’t that part of the fun? :D So regarding Abbachio’s backstory, it’s something you can emphasize with - I believe you see this happen with a lot of people who get jobs they thought they wanted (I know I did) - then you learn just how much crud they have to put up with behind the scenes. I mean, one time I bothered to greet a police officer when I was walking through a major city, and he seemed like he was genuinely surprised that someone would say anything to him - keep in mind policemen have a stigma of only showing up if something is wrong (did I speed? Is someone in trouble, etc.?) Also, the whole “corrupt system” commentary hits a little close to home - sometimes what the right thing to do is gets caught up in all the legalese and red tape. You know what I mean. Everyone knows what the answer is but there’s loopholes to unresolved what was intended in the first place. No wonder Abbachio got disheartened, As far as him taking the bribe, all I’ll say is, it’s easy to sit here and pass judgment on that from where we’re sitting in our comfy rooms with no real concern about it. I imagine the main reason he took it was out of despair that he couldn’t actually make a difference. Anyway, it looks like I nailed it on Zucchero - by the way the Stand Name given for this was “Tender Machine.” Speaking of Stands - first of all, I’m a little hurt at that videotape remark because I remember them well… 😅 - what it’s doing is a similar tactic to a method used in sporting events, we call it “instant replay.” The jist of it is, the event I. Question is captured ;these days on digital media) and then is able to be played back and analyzed so as to get a closer look at what happened - this sometimes results in changing a ruling. It’s quite a common practice. But apparently his Stand can replay things he didn’t see, as long as he was on range? That’s my guess. I also wonder if Bruno somewhat planned for this current set of events with Palpo and his fortune, not directly… but indirectly thinking if he ever got taken out this might be his big chance? Also, what does it say about the state of things that a mobster is more respected than actual law enforcement? See previous analysis. So we hid Boat 1.. inside Boat 2… with a pipe full of JoJo Bros… and Bruno sunk the boat to flush (no pun intended) Zucchero out? And since he couldn’t attack unless he was hidden, he literally lost his head? Seems like Bruno got pretty ticked off when Abbachio got threatened, I imagine it’s because maybe he was the first member to join his group? Oh… and WHERE ARE THE OTHERS? You know what, I’ll stop here I found that entire episode… deflating… do you by chance need a fly swatter in the meantime? 😅

Oooh I wanted to swap that fly! Cool stand from Abbachio. It’s amazing how “dirty” he had to get to do some good. And vice versa for the police job. How messed up is that? 🪰🧹

Glad you get where I'm coming from with my need for more Jojo eps!! But yeah, so much of the fun of it is dwelling on it, discussing it with you guys, etc. So I'm glad in a way I'm only doing a few at a time! Yeah it's a common enough thing in real life, that sometimes your dream doesn't end up being what you thought it would. That's so sad about the police officer. So true about the red tape!!! That's how so many things that should be more or less cut and dry fall through the cracks. And I get it, the rules are there for a reason, but it's so easy to exploit them too. So true about the bribe, I can't imagine how disheartening that would be to go through. Thanks for the info on Zucchero's stand!! Yup, you were right! Hahaha sorry about the video tape remark :P As a Millennial I find that many don't understand my references as time goes on :((( Oh yeah, it is like an instant replay! Ok so that was my question, can it replay things he didn't actually see and how does that work. You're so right that it's kinda crazy that a mobster gets all that respect, I guess it goes to show how things work in this particular environment. I'm sure Bruno had it in mind that he knew of the fortune if something ever happened to Polpo. Hahahaha isn't that crazy how this whole boat thing worked?! I think Bruno really cares about his crew, so him getting upset made sense! Hahaha I was actually thinking that I'd feel a lot better if we'd actually seen them all be ok at the end!! Hahahaha I too felt like I had all the wind knocked out of me. I'll take that fly swatter please!!!
