Hey everyone!  Here I am with season 1, episode 3 of Camp Camp!!! AHHHHHH I love this one so much!!!  Nora, a reference to RvB, Dante Basco, and more!!!!  I think the main lesson we learned here is that any camp these kids go to is gonna suck one way or another lol.  Arts and crafts sounds nice but not the passive aggressiveness or streotypes!!  Neil's tell-off was pretty intense lol!  I'm having a blast with this so far!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

Regarding the Camp Camp theme song, Miles is able to do it all in one take… repeatedly. Have fun with that! 😅 The main purpose of this episode is to introduce the two other um, what’s the word.. factions? The Wood Scouts Troop Leader is Edward Pikeman (we just call him Pikeman), Billy Nikkslip (Snake -you were geeking out over the VA but I don’t know the references), and the third member is Petrol (the bald torture dude). Apparently morale and recruitment is low, so kidnapping disgruntled Camp Camp members makes perfect sense. Then there’s the Flower Scouts. Sasha, Erin and Tabii (yes you must spell it that way), and well… you talked earlier about Shannon McCormick having range… imagine not one, not two, but three really stuck up versions of Nora. It’s downright terrifying. The point there is that it’s okay for Nikki to like outdoor things and other activities normally related with boys - but the reverse is also true. Neil/Nyancy is more than capable of doing well in activities that are normally associated with girls despite being a boy. You don’t have to be a stereotype, and it doesn’t matter if your tastes are different as long as you know how to be a (I really get worried saying this word on RT videos) FRIEND. Oh, and Max doesn’t hate Camp, he kinda is realizing he hates everything. Real SUNny of him. 😏

A small bit of that theme song sounded familiar! That’s from RWBY chibi when Cinder kidnapped Juane and Ren! Good luck that’s a catchy but a doozy number 🎤 🎶 That was such an adorable little egg for RvB! I can’t believe that was in there! Donut would have loved it there and Caboose loves everything. That’s was adorable. A very fine lesson here but wtf Tabii?!

WHAT!!!! Miles is a god for real! Factions, got it! Oh sorry, I grew up on the movie Hook and loved the Avatar series (both of them) so I had to geek out for that VA! Tabii with two i's, that fits :P OMG three terrifying mean girl versions of Nora!!!! Seems like we'll have our hands full with both teams! Very true, assigning gender to concepts and hobbies is really silly in reality! AHHHHH don't you dare say the "f" word when talking about a RT show lol!!!! Hahahahah he's definitely no Sun!!! :P

I definitely fell in love with Nikki this episode.....she's an unabashed Tomboy, she loves the natural world and wild things....she's not a prissy girl at all, not her vibe. The Flower Scouts say some pretty mean things and while Nikki puts on a brave front, you can see the hurt in her face at not being accepted for who she is. I like that Neil ("Nyancy") takes her side. While he does like the culture of comfort and cute embraced by the Flower Scouts, he calls them out on their passive-aggressiveness and stereotyping of others. Nikki strikes me as autistic-coded, with all the additional struggle that means to be an autistic girl....often undiagnosed until much later than boys, etc. Yes, she acts out and is "inappropriate" at times but it's part of her different neurology. You can see her visceral dislike at having to socialize with the Flower Scouts yet again, she knows she's going to be judged harshly and scolded and is bracing for it. Big props to Samantha Ireland for voicing all 3 Flower Scouts....rest assured we haven't seen the last of them.

Nikki's amazing! I love that Neil / Nyancy stuck by her too lol. I could see that with Nikki, and it's true that it's much more often missed in girls than in boys. I could see a lot of her actions being the result of some neurospiciness. Samantha Ireland slayed in this lol!!! OMG yay I'm glad they're recurring characters haha!

My mind was blown when I first heard Snake, I never expected to hear freaking Dante Basco in a RT show! And Samantha Ireland as the Flower Scouts is just too perfect! XD
