Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 12 of Kamen Rider Gotchard!  WHOA!!  You guys, I knew things would start heating up a bit more, but DANG, not Sabimaru!!!!  It's awful seeing such a sweet soul being tormented this way!  I know Hotaro will stop at nothing to get him back.  And we've got a pretty boss new weapon thanks to some help from Ufo-X, who has helped us out now for a second time!  Definitely feels like we're moving on to the second act of the series!  Can't wait for more! Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Hi Hime :) We could say that this épisode has some dreadful events. When Harima brings up events that took place ten years ago, I looked it up to be sure, but that's also the time period that Rinne's father disappeared. So there must be a connection between his departure, the higher up and the door of darkness. Which we kind of suspected. When Spanner yells at the others, I have the impression that it is also to convince himself. Because he too was beaten, he too was not powerful enough even though he was supposed to be a big shot in alchemy. There is also when he talks about people dying to protect the natural order, I have the impression that he speaks knowledgeably, that it is personal. I haven't been a big fan of Spanner until now, and still am not, but he is rising a bit in my estimation. I have the impression that one of his relatives was an alchemist who died on a mission. My idea that makes sense with everything would be that Spanner was Rinne's father's apprentice. That would explain his interest in her, as much as his words in this episode.

When Atropos says "Everything that happens is all your fault" is likely referring to when Kudoh said "Don't attack civilians, limit it to us Alchemists only" so now she's only targeting Alchemists because of what Kudoh said. There could be more to it than this but that's what I've taken away from this so far.

First off, I keep getting thrown off because you keep saying we’re approaching the halfway point… but in actuality we just passed the quarter pole. We aren’t even close for another couple months. I guess you could say this is the episode where things start “getting real…” now that you know the world’s overall set of rules, they can start putting people in more compromising positions…. Anyway, I was going to ask how they were able to use a SteamLiner card… but they explained they were able to make copies of everything… but that got me to another point… is a Level 10 Chemy capable of being copied? They seem to be for lack of a better term, ultra rare. The show writers know what they’re doing, because they want to go for the victim that will put you in the most empathetic and tough position. I do think despite Atropos’ claims, both Renge and Hotaro were able to help him a little… but Atropos’ magic is a lot more powerful. Speaking of which, a tactic I have started picking up on is that shows like this like to do things to fluster the audience… and then they immediately drop important information in a throwaway line while they’re distracted. So here is the question: according to Saori, something happened ten years ago involving the Alchemy Association. What was it, and does it have anything to do with what is occurring now? Speaking of Saori, I guess even villains have their cultists, but that trope of outliving your usefulness… didn’t take a genius to see that coming… however, the way they disappeared / disintegrated makes me wonder if there’s more to this than what it seems? The main reason Atropos targeted Sabi was to break Hotaro - and on one level it worked, he’s bemoaning his lack of strength, and he’s going to be relentless in trying to save his friend… but to what end…? Huh… now that I said that, this sounds like another character from a franchise you’re quite familiar with… I think his name rhymes with Lammachin Flyhawker. 😁 Hotaro was getting scolded by Spanner for not taking more account of the real danger that lurks with this job - he also said that countless alchemists have died because of their beliefs. On one hand, he’s coming off too rough - but he isn’t wrong, either. And is that a reference to ten years ago? By the way, Kagimiya asking if Hotaro can subdue a Lv 10… this might not be a good thing. No further thoughts on Rinne, there’s just too many other balls in the air, I’m sure we’ll get back to it. I’ve written enough so time to Gotcha & Go. Now I understand why Beverly took this week off. Oh, PS: did you miss my JoJo Ep 18 comment? You got 17 and 19, so I wondered if it slipped through the cracks. And before you accuse things on your shows of really getting out of hand, please do remember what Camp Camp put you through this week! 😁

Dreary! Atropos is so malicious. This turned the good feeling show on its head smashed it with a hammer. I hate to say it but that design is sick! In more ways than one. It would have been enough for him to just be targeted for his knowledge and sweet personality. But no they have to show him under their thumb, aching for help from the inside. And they did a number of these students. Especially Hotaro :( Mm fr if the teachers aren’t going to be enough how are these hatchlings supposed to be prepared for this Spanner?

Hi Spadeas! :) Hahha I see what you did there!!! Ok yeah, so there's definitely a connection, makes sense! I think you're right, Spanner's probably mad at himself too. I think there's definitely more to Spanner than what we're seeing now! It would make total sense if he lost someone close to him. Ohhhhh that would make sense if he'd been close to the dad, wouldn't it??? Hmmm!!!!

Yeah it just feels like Christmas is a big turning point for Kamen Rider so it sorta feels like a mid-season point? It's really not though, you're right! Yeah it's getting real alright! Oooh good question about whether or not a Level 10 can be copied?? Ugh, they knew just what they were doing putting Sabi in danger like this! Good question about what happened 10 years ago. The "disposal" of the loyalist was nasty, and it does make you wonder doesn't it. Choosing Sabi to target was low but effective for sure. OOHHHH I hope things don't go quite that far lol, although it would be quite juicy. I mean, Spanner does have some points, even if he's being harsh. Ooohhh...yeah...maybe it's not a good thing for everyone to know that Hotaro can do that. Ohhhh I'm sorry, it must have slipped through the cracks, I thought I answered all my Jojo comments!!! I'll go take a look!!

12! A lucky number for me. So, I think it's time to post my comment again. Kamen Rider Dread! He first appeared in previous episode op, and during that time, it did not show us who is him. So, we have gone on a lot of theory. I suspected both inspector, since inspector Harima is the spy of the three abyssalis sisters. But that theory is proven wrong the moment that they stated her actress will only portray her role for 2 episodes. So, my next suspect is Inspector Kugimiya. I remember his surname well, because it's the same surname with a superstar in my country. He seems dark, mysterious, and more or less, a new character. He would be likely to be the new dark rider. But then, another theory was bring forth. They say Dread might be the 3 sisters combined form, which is also fit well somehow. But, with Atropos' line in the preview "you shall granted the name Kamen Rider Dread", it is proven that Dread is not her. With that, 2 more most convincing theories coming up. First one is Sabimaru, since one of the preview picture launched after the last episode ended contains Renge holding Sabi's tablet. It's implying that something happened to Sabi. Also, a televi magazine has launched the picture of Sabi forced to wear a driver and transform, therefore, proven the theory to be true. Sabi has become the most convincing candidate with more than 90% probability to be Dread. Other theory said Dread is Rinne. Atropos seems to attached to her and try to cook her up for a certain scheme. In the last episode, she even tell her that everything that gonna happen is because of her. And Rinne is not having much airtime in the preview of last episode, so I suspect her to be Dread. Well, this theory also come with a probability that Houtaro will be able to save her later somehow, and that will make her turned into a white female rider. The partner of Gotchard. Speak about it, there is a picture of Gotchard's sticker for children that leaked a mysterious unknown red-white figure. No-one know who they are, but they suspect that one to be Rinne's rider form. Because someone saw the waist of that mysterious figure to have a driver that looks like what in the rumor. So, that's increase the chance of us seeing her as a rider. But, there's still a chance that the rumor is wrong. So, we gonna have to wait and see. The Exgotchalibur! (Ekusu Gatcharibā, X + Gotcha + libur) A power up item for sure, since Houtaro has saw a vision of the new form of Gotchard. The thing is, Gotchard upgrade form seems not holding any sword. Can you guess where the sword gone? The Exgotchalibur is a sword used by Kamen Rider Gotchard that is designed to use Level Number 10 Ride Chemy Cards. It can also utilized the power of normal Chemies. As Houtaro was pummeled by Kamen Rider Dread, UFO-X came down and bestowed the sword upon him, due to the former's actions to save the Chemy from Shiori Harima. Initially, it was a blank weapon, but it immediately changed due to Houtaro's will to save his friends. The Exgotchalibur is mainly used with Level 10 Chemy, those they said to be the strongest and ultimate Chemies. Every level 10 Chemy will have X in their name, for X-xample, UFO-X. 6 of them gonna appear in Gotchard x Geats, they are the level 10 of attribute insect, job, vehicle, animal, artifact, plant. (Will you guess out who they are?) While UFO-X has making it appearance in the series, there are still 3 more to looking for. The Chemy Encyclopedia has uploaded 2 more attribute (occult and ancient) to the list, with every Chemy in those 2 line except level 10 is still covered in shadow. So, I think its about time we gonna see those Chemies. Aside from that, there are Repli Chemy Card, a copy version of Ride Chemy Card to be used (drained) in the DreaDriver. If you listen closely, everytime Dread used their power, a screaming is to be heard. It is the screaming of those Chemies. You will hear them clearly in the toy version. How poor! --- Well then, it's time to count the Chemy!
