Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 3 of Frieren!  Aw, I loved Frieren putting forth such an effort to celebrate Fern's birthday here!  Even though she doesn't feel like she's remembering enough as a friend, you can tell she's coming from a place of love.  And the story about Qual was pretty great too, I really love that we got to see some of the worldbuilding/lore and I love the sort of underlying message that the whole situation gets across - that with time and perserverance, you can overcome anything!  This show has got to stop making me tear up though!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

Somehow, I always get a goosebumps when I see Frieren's opening. I don't remember when and what is the last opening that able to do this to me. Is this some kind of an attack by an enemy stand? By the way, you know most of stand is named after song, album, or band's name right? Yoasobi has an album called" The Film". It was released on March 23, 2022. Should that be the name? Or we are using "Idol" or "Hero" instead? And what should be its ability? Come to think of it, when I see the word Ornament, I remembered that a few hours ago, I try to create a skill for a girl in my novel. She's a normal human who has potential to become a Lich (king of undead), or she might already became one, but she's not aware of it. Her character and power is inspired by Kamen Rider Ghost, so I think about should I give her a sensing ability or not, if I give her one, I would name it after a certain part of Kamen Rider Ghost accessory which represent his forehead signal like other riders. I have a character inspired by Kamen Rider Brave, and that guy is a Titan. I create a skill for him called "Reversal Shield", named after a little shield Brave got on his left hand. It's (The Titan's Reversal Shield) ability is to absorb any damage done to it and create a hardening piece into any shape, like titans from AOT able to do. Getting to learn about Rider's part and how it inspired your characters is somehow interesting. Also, I like that you say that time makes something deadly not deadly anymore. You know that some diseases are already erased from this world, and those with HIV are also able to live for the fullest of their life until they grow old and die? In my novel, I came up with a monster that is kind of like Dopant. They are monsters based on mythical creatures, items, figures, objects, or even real-world animals or figures, like Vampire, Dragon, Ogre Gram Demon Sword, Scylla, Surtr, Orichalcum, Beetle, Black Witch Moth, Firefly, Jack the Ripper, etc. After the main character defeats them, instead of destroying the memory, he takes them to use for the next fight. And after making it this far, I REALxEYEZ. If I originally wanted to create my monsters based on something terrible or scary, what about monsters based on disease? And that's how my first monster based on disease was invented. The Black Death, aka The Plague. Some of the characters are infected and are in brutal stages, not even healing magic could help (because if I want to make it deadly in a fantasy world, healing magic or that kind of thing must not have any effect). But some full potions and curing potions from the main character can cure all. (Some damaged were left behind anyway). That's how I REALxEYEZ time really make change.

Very sweet episode 🎂 Very interesting to see how time and knowledge really vanishes something that was once scary to all. I like stories that have a bit of wisdom to take away from.

It's a great opening! HAHAHA clearly this is the work of an enemy stand :P Ohhhhh yes I love the idea of naming the Stand after Yoasobi's album!!! Hmm, something about The Film has a nice ring to it! Idol and Hero are great runners up too! WHOA, I love the inspiration from Attack on Titan and Kamen Rider Ghost for your characters!!!! That's really clever! I think it's great to have inspiration like that, I agree that it's always fun to see how Kamen Rider and other series/fandoms inspire different aspects of other stories. I'm glad you liked my assessment of what was going on here! That's so true that disease is another great example. That's actually a really great idea for your novel!!!! Like use all the battles you've had along the way to make you stronger and use all that "bad" energy to put good into the world instead. Disease based monsters sound terrifying, I'm not gonna lie lol!!! Oof, sounds like you're writing them to be very devastating as well. It's great that you REALxEYEZed what a difference time can make!!
