Hey everyone!  Here I am with season 2, episode 8 of Camp Camp!!! WHOA you guys, this one was way too real for me LOL!!!  I felt SO MUCH for Gwen here - the interviews, the questions, the whole thing!!!  What a series of events this set off, what with Max blackmailing, then getting a dose of his own medicine with the whole teddy bear thing.  Oh yeah, NEVER tell these campers anything that's supposed to be a secret!!!  And of course, David is just the best friend ever!!!  To end this one with the flip side of the interview anxiety, where they say you're TOO qualified, well, it just karate chopped me right in the feels lol!!!  Great ep, enjoy!  ~ MH

I think Gwen is a great character so I love that episode eight is focused on her. I fortunately or unfortunately depending on your viewpoint I have never had to experience job interviews because I need help with a lot & can’t really do what some would consider “normal jobs” because of my disability/medical issues but thankfully I am good financially but it’s why I make YouTube videos since it’s a job I can do & enjoy.. I have heard horror stories like what Gwen went through at the start of the episode. I feel really bad for the position Gwen is in wanting to get a new job but having her applications rejected & not wanting to upset David. And then you add Max into the equation making things worse but I love how it gets us to sympathize & relate to her throughout the episode. I think it’s funny that when she asks Neil & Nikki for a hint as to what Max wants Neil nervously asks what & before Nikki even knows what it is she says anything because Nikki is willing to do anything as long as it is exciting. I like the little bit of fun bit of funny wordplay in this conversation. The wood scouts are absolutely ridiculous it’s hilarious when Snake just says we kill them with a straight face. I love how completely no-nonsense she is with Pikeman & I like the simple solution to the popcorn sales. I love that even a kid as jaded as Max has a stuffed toy he loves F’s nice to know something so sweet. I love how David isn’t upset & is instead really supportive & raises her spirits & confidence. I think it’s nice how he points out how impressive all her skills & work is. I like the little side story with Nurf this episode. Even if there’s nothing wrong with having stuffed toys Max kind of deserves what happened considering what he put Gwen through. Also “eat shit Satan” is her best line up to this point LMAO. The overqualified part is the worst. I had a feeling you would relate to her a lot this episode I mean I’m sure a lot of people do but you do seem to have a lot in common with her although definitely the personality of David. The Cosco scene kills me LOL. Awesome reaction & thoughts. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

I love Gwen! That's totally understandable about your situation! It's great that you have a YouTube as well, it's such a great outlet/resource for doing what you love! The horror stories are true unfortunately lol. Gwen's having a hard time with everything here, what with David, Max, etc...!! Nikki's down for anything haha! I love David's supportiveness too! And the line was amazing haha! Ohhhh the fact that they ended it with the "overqualified" thing just really hurt!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed my reaction, thanks again for all the support!!!

Ooooh my god the end killed me. It’s all just too real. What do you mean OVERqualified?! Thankfully I never went through all the crap Gwen did in these interviews, but it’s still infuriating cause you don’t need to have gone through that stuff to know it’s based off real life.
