Hey everyone!  Here it is - my reaction to episode 17 of Frieren!  OMG!!!!!!!!!!  You guys, I'm gonna miss Sein, but something tells me we'll see him again!  Also he really spoke for all of us with that one line, didn't he LOL?!  I can't handle how cute Fern and Stark are!  And then there was the whole plot about the hand holding.....how does this show always get me?!  It's also sweet to see how Frieren thinks of Fern - they grow up too fast, especially when you're an elf who has a very different concept of time!!!  Can't wait to see more!!  Great ep!  Enjoy!  ~ MH

The opening is a bit of a bop - it’s one of those songs that you use to wake up in the morning. Fun fact: Crunchyroll didn’t distribute the translated lyrics for either of these for about another four or five episodes. Now regarding your Frieren schedule, I did some math - you won’t actually catch up to current at this pace - it will end before you get there. So no worries. Kids do a lot of things, like make silly mistakes, particularly in relationships. Stark and Fern are just teenagers trying to figure out their own feelings and so there are naturally bumps in the road. The key is to figure out what the other person is really feeling - and sometimes your own emotions can be your biggest obstacle. That being said, I knew you were gonna love Sein breaking the fourth wall. We’re leaving Hom for now, but just like a mere ten year adventure changed Frieren - a month or two adventuring with Frieren might’ve given Sein a new perspective. You already picked up on the whole “everyone needs emotional support,” not just children theme: Fern is not unhappy that Frieren is comforting her - but she’s a little embarrassed in front of Stark. The overall message here is that it’s not always the big things that makes the difference, it’s the little in between actions that separate the people who matter from complete strangers. Also, look how hard Stark and Frieren worked to get her well. I think she knows it - but just like Frieren she’ll keep it a little closer to the vest. Oh, the ending theme is the same song, I’m assuming we just have a different part of the song. Hey, you were the one who spent all that time prepping to record knowing full well what this show is capable of, don’t look at us! You should know better by now!😅 Don’t worry, we got other things coming our way real soon.

It totally is! That's interesting about the translation. Oh good, so it works out that I can just keep watching 2 a week! So true, they're young and trying to figure everything out, including each other. Hahahaha Sein really had the truest line of the whole show!!! It's sad to say bye to him but I agree that his time with Frieren had a big impact on him. Yeah, Fern was totally just trying to be cool in front of Stark lol. She's similar to Frieren in the way she expresses herself. Gotcha, that was clarified about the ending, good to know!! Hahaha it really is on me isn't it! I can't wait for more!
