So apparently Patreon has decided to change the way the fees that go to credit cards/etc. are paid. Up until this change it's been something that I have to pay for every patron on top of the 5% that Patreon takes... but now they're making patrons, i.e.: you guys pay them.

So every pledge will end up being charged just under 3% of what the pledge value is and a flat rate of $0.35 too. So that means a pledge of a dollar will now end up costing folks $1.38.

I can't change the tier value of the dollar pledge to anything lower than a dollar, but if you want to still only pay a dollar to creators you can edit your pledge to $0.63 and with the added fees it should equal a dollar after the change.

To keep access to the same content (patron only posts and early access to the comic) I'll make sure that those posts are published to all patrons and not just those who select the $1 tier reward since I know there's people on a fixed budget that just want to support a bunch of campaigns at like a dollar a month.

I realize the change in fee structure will cause some patrons to have to rethink their pledges and some people will have to drop out of supporting me or other creators, but I do hope that the majority of folks understand that I'm not the one making this decision... and that you feel like you're still getting your money's worth from me and decide to continue your support of Zombie Roomie.

To me it's not so much about the extra dollar but I'm extremely pissed about how Patreon sneaked up with this and tried to put lots of icing on the turd. I strongly encourage you to check out alternatives and I'm willing to switch to whatever alternative you'll setup. For now I'll stay (begrudgingly) because I like your NSFW content just too much to cancel the pledge. :)

I don't blame you at all for how Patreon is deciding to screw everyone over. At the same time...I can barely afford the pledges now.

That being said, if you have an alternate form of donation/support, I'll look into that one.
