Also also, I see where yall are coming from about the parents. I can say, their reaction had nothing to do with any reservations about Charlie being gay. Their reactions didn't convey that very well, and further actions from the mom will probably continue your thought that she is uncomfortable with him being gay, but as far as I've seen and read that is not the case. I've watched all 3 seasons collectively about 10 times, many more times for the first season specifically and a few more of this season also, so I feel confident in how I've interpreted things knowing a fuller picture of the situation. Still, they could have phrased things better. Though, in real life the same sort of unintended misunderstandings happen very often so I almost feel like that was their aim all along. 🤔
